I don’t even work, I am a stay at home mom of one, but I love these videos of yours. I followed you here from instagram where I’ve been watched your preps for a few weeks now. I have a hard time coming up with meal ideas and I love the look and sound of the meals you end up making! Thank you for spending your free time doing these ❤
You’re welcome! And that’s part of the reason I started. I didn’t like coming up with meals each night then shopping and cooking. So I gave myself a night each week that I planned what we were having. Even by doing that it helped with the mental pressure 😊
I watch a lot of grocery shops and meal prep videos and you are the first I have seen that doesn't quote the price of every item, but rather groups them into categories and gives the total of that. I find this fresh approach of looking at a weekly shop both fascinating and useful. Thanx!
quite a new follower here, I started following you from intragram, I was feeling so overwhelmed by meal prep and what to make, and while my husband and I are vegetarian, I still find your videos so relaxing. I think it is your beautiful voice if I am honest. I have had quite a few health problems and right now, standing for more than a couple of minutes is too much, so I have really struggled with cooking dinners. But you have inspired me so much, last night (Sunday, after you video of the 8th Sept) I organised myself at the table with some ingredients. I felt so good after 90 mins. I didn't do that much, I through some left over veggies and meat substitue into an over proof dish, husband then roasted the contents for 20 mins, then added gravy and some frozen mash on top and we had the best dinner we have had in ages. But while he did all that I managed to make breakfast for 3 days, lunch for two days, mixed up some greek yogurt and berries with chocolate chips and put it in the freezer for this week's sweet treats. I then prepared all the veggies for the week so that while I haven't done much, I did something, and we are more likely to eat what we have this week because of that short amount of effort. Today has already been 100% better than the last few months because I have eaten good breakfast and lunch, and because we had just a little leftovers from last night, I took some of the prechopped veggies and threw them in a pot with some lentils to make soup... I'm in the UK, it's not that cold yet, but I just fancied soup. Thanks for the inspo.
I cannot tell you how much you have helped my home! Even though I am still working out my schedule and am (very) slow, the joy me and my family get from a full fridge at the start of the week has been so worth it. I tend to do it over two days because I find it hard to find the uninterrupted time but don't mind. As someone who has dreaded the 4pm question of 'what's for dinner' for YEARS, it has even increased my enjoyment of cooking and that is saying something. My husband can hardly believe his luck. :) Thank you so much for taking the time out of your very busy schedule to share this with us. So appreciated!
THIS has definitely encouraged me to try this. I usually prep and shop for the month but I’ve never shopped and cooked ahead of time by the week. Going to try this out and see how much it helps me mentally because I too hate thinking about “what’s for dinner”, plus I won’t have to “really cook” all week. Sounds amazing
@@theaveragefamily3989 I just did it for the 3rd or 4th week (can't remember now) and it went quicker this time and I didn't have to break it up over two days. I look forward to getting faster that's for sure as my feet and back are aching by the end of it. :)
You are such an amazing woman, mum and wife💖. I watch your videos every week and get so inspired but I just don't physically or mentally have the energy to do that, but I do small amounts of meal prep and that works great for me💜. Thank you so very much for your amazing inspiring videos💝
Hey from new zealand. Your videos are so refreshing and a joy to watch. Super mama!! Definitely look forward to your videos and gives me motivation to start meal prepping. Enjoy your week ahead 😊
I think you have a Costco looking at some of your products. Try the vanilla paste it is SO much nicer and SUCH a cheap price than the extract you used in the chia pudding. Thank me later ;p Same with the maple syrup, so cheap and a large bottle.
I just stumbled on yourbpage- im a mum in Australia and glad I could relate. Thank you for sharing! Cam uou share more on the flybuys and rewards pelase
Hi from Western Australia, I use to spend my Sundays prepping when my girls were small. I really enjoyed it. I don’t need to do as much these days but I still like to be organised. Love your videos ❤️
Thank you to RUclips for recommending you! What a lovely channel. Well done you. Do you have a link for the glass containers you use daily please? Thank you
I just discovered your videos last week and have watched them all! I love your prep ideas and have begun implementing bits and pieces in our family life! What I'd love to hear more about is your thought process when cooking specifically: what goes into deciding what order you cook things? Do you make a mental note ahead what recipies use, say the same appliances or ingredients for efficiencies? Do ya panic while 4 different things are on the go? 😂 Keep up the amazing work!
No matter how many times I watch your videos, you still amaze me with all you get done and how organised you are. Your food all looks amazing. The light aqua blue bowl you used for the peanut butter cookie dough, was that when Coles had those on offer for rewards? I have the smaller ones but wish I had the larger ones now as I’ve seen you put yours to good use. Do you put yours in the dishwasher?
Hi Monique, firstly I love your channel. I didn’t know you could use more than $10 flybuys points at a time at checkout, so I would love to know more about this and any other supermarket money saving tips you might have. I was also wondering if you might be interested in doing some grocery hauls? I’ve recently started watching some on RUclips and find them really interesting. I’ve also discovered some great products that I didn’t even know existed by watching them, which has been very helpful. Hope you have a great week!
My only thing with this is, it tires me out for the beginning of the week and i feel like i havent had a weekend rest..might try this on a monday evening...also my fridge is way too small
Hi there 😊 I'm just wondering once the tandoori chicken is cooked. Do you let it cool down, and then place it in the fridge? And how long will it last in the fridge? Thankyou
I’d love to understand why you choose to get all the individual yoghurts for the kids and I guess adults when you could save so much money getting bulk and dividing up. Is it simply for ease and because you can afford it within the budget?
How much time it took from shopping to putting them all in fridge? For me this is "Sunday Motivation" video and I look forward to the episodes every sunday

No I’m sure it’s not wrong. I know other recipes you put it all in. I find cooking the onion and bacon give it a better taste and I prefer the bacon cooked first texture wise. 😊
Why not buy in bulk so u dnt have to go shopping every week. ... eg bulk meat, nappies, potatoes and other root veg stores well. Only shop to buy fresh fruit and veg.
I do a bit of both. But I actually enjoy going to the shops and picking my own produce. I also might change my mind of what vegetable or fruit I want to get if there’s a better special or I like the look of something else 😊

So I'm in love with your food processor! I just went to go look for it and there's quite a few Breville ones-- which model do you have??
Would also love a run down of fly buys! I had noooo idea it was such a good reward system!

Hi, you are so inspirational. Where did you get your blue mixing bowl?
I usually buy in threes or sixes. And keep the overs In my small Pantry. ... I would jus buy a case of the yogurt Snacks.
Loving your channel !

Hi! First time watching, new fav!! How long do you cook your rice bakes for?
I love your Videos. We are a family of 5 too.
I started meal oreaping because of you. 😊
Can you freeze the soup or Do you have to serve it "fresh"?
Love the videos, can I ask you? so you cook the tandoori with rice then do you just reheat it when u want to eat it?
Where can you buy the fruit wash from?
❤
Could you please show us how to activate that flybuys offer ❤❤
Hi there 😊 I'm just wondering once the tandoori chicken is cooked. Do you let it cool down, and then place it in the fridge? And how long will it last in the fridge? Thankyou
How long did you cook the curry chicken amd rice for ? X
Im also wondering why fo upu choose to do all your shopping in woolies and coles? Do you do some at aldi, farmers markets and other stores too?
Do you have to top up for bread / milk during the week at all?

I allow 2-3 hours. This one was 2.5hrs from when I get home from shopping to having it all stored in the fridge 😊

oh. I put all my ingredients for zucchini slice in the oven raw. Am I cooking it wrong? It all comes out cooked though 😬

May I ask why you don’t do online delivery and have it sent to your door Sunday mornings? Wouldn’t that be more efficient?
I do a bit of both. But I actually enjoy going to the shops and picking my own produce. I also might change my mind of what vegetable or fruit I want to get if there’s a better special or I like the look of something else 😊
