Absolutely. I listened to a lot of their albums recently and WAS SHOCKED HOW HIGH QUALITY AND PROGRESSIVE, LOUD AND EXPERIMENTAL THEY WERE. THEY DESERVE A PLACE NEXT TO THE WHO, KINKS, ANIMALS, BEATLES, CREAM. In fact, they were better than Beatles, in some ways.
they are a legend in Britain. Ron Wood was on bass at one point, Jimmy Page was in there too. Such a shame to see everyone just sitting there. Get up and dance for chrissake

Except that 90 year old guy could swing and phrase and didn’t rely on distortion.

In art school, 1970s, we all got a blistering, public ridicule from the best teachers, if our work was flawed. I became a better, stronger Artist as a result.

Truth is, Beck wouldn't invite Ron Wood to his funeral, much less play.
I saw Jeff on their 1st US tour, with Rod Stewart, and Wood on bass. That was the "Truth" album, and they were really great. But like acts whose players can't stand each other, that was true. Beck quickly broke it up, said, "Rod and Wood would get together, have a little smoke, and would be giggling together, like a couple little schoolgirls. It was just embarrassing. A shame, though, 'cause I thought we sounded good, but I just couldn't take it..."

- In retrospect, if Rod and Wood hadn't been in Jeff Beck band, they'd be playing little, drunken pubs in UK, maybe.
- God only knows what the Stones see in Wood, considering all the other great guitarists available.

The husky voice parts occupied by Imelda remind me of Brenda Lee.
Would pick Ann Wilson or Pat Benatar over her for this tune.
They didn't actually plug Johnny in, but he enjoyed himself.

First, I respect that these folks are paying homage to Jeff Beck. That said, this is pretty mediocre playing all around…sad to say. However, I’d say Billy did hold it down for a bit.
Yes I feel the same way but people like it. Sounds like dog shit to me except the singer is great. Ronnie wood solo was painful. My dog plays better . Jonny depp is way out of his league . Kirk hammett plays great at his thing i guess but that solo here blows . Billy is still good but even he is out of his league . A bunch of drunk clowns paying tribute to the great Jeff Beck .i mean beck played better than that left handed . these guys all have balls I'll say that.

Billy's solo was at least the most on the mark.....others sounded like a bad garage band version....Billy more of master musician and uses his ears better.
Having the right attitude is an important part of being a Rock 'n' Roll musician, but when you take that away, sometimes there's not much left.
The performance was what it was but after it was over there was applause but looking at the balcony, it looked like a painting.
This is excellent - but what the hell is J. Depp doing there ???

You do know that Johnny Depp played with Jeff Beck on his final album and on stage, don't you? They became good friends. I agree Depp wouldn't confused with Beck, Clapton (or my favorites Gary Moore, Roger Gilmour or Johnny Winter), but he appears to connect with Jeff Beck, Alice Cooper, Joe Perry, and others - check out the Hollywood Vampires. Putting musical snowberry aside, he brings something to the stage other than blistering guitar solos.

Billy played the most acceptable solo....Hammet in the wrong key and Wood was hit and miss.

Actually, I think it’s Billy Gibbons rhythm clashing with the others. When he broke off and started soloing, the rhythm cleaned up. After soloing and dropping back into the rhythm, it sounded off again.

Jeff, Jeff, Jeff. He was an enigma. He'd pull out/off the greatest stuff in a line or on stage but album wise it wasn't happening. But that's what kept him evolving! His reaching out and plugging into that waterhole as Jimi Hendrix called it and coming back from there and creating sounds that were there for all to drink of but only he and few others could produce here on Earth. Ronnie is still alive. Wasn't sure if that was him. He's a hard man to do a tribute for but they were there and tried to sync up for Jeff. Such a unique talent.
