If you have never heard Tina S play Ludwig van Beethoven Moonlight Sonata you are truely missing out .All of these ladies are amazing but Katona Renata stood out to me as a Gem ! I have been listening to rock guitar for many decades and Tina S I believe is the greatest guitarist I have ever heard ! Her Guitar skills are second to none period .
Katona Renata has a Jeff Beck quality to her. Love it.

I agree I mean she outright rips the strings on Moonlight Sonata I mean over 6 minutes of pure hell and she doesn't miss a single note. AND she doesn't show her body she shows her GUITAR! Most of these reactionists have never seen ANYTHING remotely approaching her level of play.
Indonesia takes the cake! No doubt about it! I wish she was my daughter......but she'll bring joy and pride to her loved ones.... just awesome playing!

Sophie Lloyd was hands down the best one in my book. She didn't play another bands cover song, she played her own song, & effortlessly I might add. She really stood out to me.

Seeing these talented young ladies is awe inspiring! Takes me back about 35 years to a girlfriend I had that surprised me with a shred of Guns and Roses Sweet Child of Mine. I didn't know she even had a guitar before she played that for me! She went on and on with riffs that she must've learned from Randy Rhodes. I sure miss my sweet Vikki!

Yep. She IS the guitar GOD on this rock absolutely no doubt about it. These other girls may have more show but Tina has a LOT more GO! I mean she rips those strings like no other.
They were all fantastic. I really liked Tina S from France, Laura Lace - Lativia, Nita Strauss - USA, and Sophie Lloyd's original work is incredible and melodic.

Hal-Ca from Asterism (she is japanese and 17 years old) is better than all of them.. Why?? She is fast knows exactly how to use switch + handle.. if you look closely all of these girls rarely or not using swith even they are doing sweeping.. its just speed so amateur
I have been recording and writing and singing Professionally for 43 my 56 years on this our earth and not only was i astounded by the performance's by these Fantastic musicians, but was dually professional awe at the ease and calmness the each played..

Sophie Lloyd and Laura Cox as well as Indonesian young lady - extremely nice playing!
Two words: Jennifer Batten! She was doing insane 8 finger tapping AND incorporating Bebop into her shredding back in the 80's. (Check out her 8 finger version of Flight of the Bumble Bee.) Nili Brosh and Melanie Faye are also amazing! Orianthi does her thing too, as well as Ashlee Juno. All of the young ladies here are very impressive though. I enjoyed 11 year old Ayu Gusfanz alot, and Nita Strauss always kicks ass.
I have seen Tina S. play and she can play anything from Opera to Musicals to any Rock music song that has been ever made and make it look very simple to play in her way of playing without the theatrics of jumping around and the head shaking and the crazy movements to make you think that it's hard for to play any composed music of any kind. I would put her up against anyone playing Guitar today and she would do it just as good or better. This is a FACT!!!

Tina S is on another level. I check her channel but haven't seen any new stuff. I haven't been back in a yr or so now. Its like she came by, showed us what she had and left us wanting more. 😂
I believe she's to Humble and doesn't want the fan boi attention and probably busy with family now. Don't quote me though, as im guessing.
But yeah, there was something different about her playing, I was trying to figure out what made her so good, but you nailed it for me. No jumping around or silly nonsense. Just pure raw understanding and dedication to the art.

Tisa S. hands down for her perfection on relatively unknown equipment - she gets every note spot on along with the feel. All of them are great, Nikki has been around for awhile, sort of the George Lynch of the guitar world, known but not as respected as she should be. I'd like to see some original work by these ladies 10 years from now.
she's great but not "spot on". Multiple mistakes on and Justice for All solo. Very close. NOT perfection which may not be possible.
Sophie LLoyd because it is her original song and plays the guitar very well. Good balanced sound overall. She does not over play a million notes to show, she knows what she is doing.

I first saw this video about 6 months ago and I've been watching everything Ayu has put out since. She really is incredible. Only 11 in this and 17 now. And Sophie Lloyd was always a favorite too. And let's face it, they are all better than any of us will ever be!

How ever, Tina S is really smooth, plays effortless and has been playing since she was a baby.
I remember her sitting on the couch and her legs couldn't reach the edge but they handed her a guitar that looked like she could fit inside of it.
Her little harms and tiny fingers would barely stretch to pluck them strings, so she is well seasoned.
The best and coolest of all is, without comment, Sophie Lloyd, this is me as a former guitarist telling you all the young people. She has unlimited potential for artistry and virtuosity combined. And she does it so expertly and naturally, I'm just for her. After all, she is from England, the origins of rock. This is an indisputable fact🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎵🎵🎵🎵

I was thoroughly impressed by all the ladies. Being a metal lover in a house full of classically trained musicians. I know all about the work, training ,and heart that come out afire when I hear these up and commers playing... and it is true, the ladies are more confident in their skill than many a grown man, i've watched. It is a silly interpretation. I believe, you cannot play an instrument on this level without a deep feeling for your instrument and the music you play and in general. We will see what kind of music she will create by herself in the future - and I hope she will.

Kudos to ALL these fantastic Women for their Dedication & Discipline to THE most amazing Instrument on the Planet, the Guitar. IF I have to choose a "favorite" ... hmmm.... I was most moved by Sophie Lloyd - especially playing her Original Song - perhaps its because she seemed the most visibly moved & connected to her Guitar while playing? But who am I ? They were all inspiring and any Guitar Player knows what it took to play like they did !
There have always been Ladies that could rock a guitar or drums with the best in the business. Its long overdue that they're getting the recognition they've long deserved.

I love Nita Strauss, and she's phenomenal, but I have to put Sophie Lloyd up there at the top too. She is so balanced and smooth, she is truly incredible.
