For a softer crust that tastes good, I melt 1 TBS of butter and at the 20 minute mark of cooking I take the loaf out and brush on the melted butter. Then I put the loaf back into the oven to finish cooking.
@@JenFine223 I used what I had which was salted. You can use whatever brand or salted or unsalted you like. It's the fat in the butter that makes the crust softer and tastier.

The only egg white protein powder I use (because of low cost) is Bulk Supplement EWPP ... I order 50# and split with 2 daughters, it comes out to just pennies over $6 lb. I'm retired and can't afford to purchase all the expensive keto products.

What size are the pan loaf? I’m about to order via Amazon. I agree on the size plus I don’t want to get use to eating oversized bread portion. And if I want more.l.I just can grab more bread slice.

Yes you could totally leave out the coconut flour and just use arrowroot I’m not sure it will be 100% the same but I’m guessing it will still be really good. I haven’t got to do this with just Arrowroot flour. Because it is only 1 tablespoon of coconut flour I can’t taste it, but that might be because I find it doesn’t bother me😆
Oh yes I’m sorry I misunderstood 🙈 you could leave both of those flours out and it will still be really good😊 similar to the keto danishes I had made before🤗
I only used warm water this time to help bring out more of the yeast smell from the instant yeast, but if you’re not using yeast it does not matter what temperature the water is. I only add the yeast for more yeast flavour it isn’t necessary☺️

I didn’t taste it that day because I never liked the bread that day😆 I did have it today though and it was really really good☺️
