Anyway, there are some threads in GTA San Andreas which definitely crave the most attention, and the issue of Tenpenny and Pulaski's involvement is one of those threads. Players have been discussing these characters for a long time now, but still, some hidden details are leading to untold stories, usually taking place behind the scenes. And well, Jimmy Hernandez and Ralph Pendelbury seem to be perfect examples of this. Why should we pay more attention to these two fellas? Find out in this episode🙂

    Hey, guys! We have noticed one slight mistake in our video and would like to point it out right away. Throughout the video, there are some instances where we have used the alleged character model of Ralph Pendelbury which many players are associated with. However, we want to emphasize that it's not really Pendelbury's model, but in fact, it is how Eddie Pulaski was going to look in the beta version of the game. This can be determined, among others, thanks to the name of the model itself which is "csplas1" where 'cs' stand for "cutscene" and 'plas' for "pulaski" since his final model is called "csplas".
    Have a nice day!

      Hello there,I would like to put a myth for you, IDK if this is that known or not,but in both GTA VC,and GTA VCS,you can easily rob stores,in GTA VC,just pull out a gun,the shopkeeper will give you stacks of money,after that, he'll call the cops,and there will be an alarm,in GTA VCS on the other hand,when you go inside a shop,you have to damage property in the shop, after some damage,the shopkeeper will be scared,and give you the cash,I don't remember if this gives you a wanted level.

    My head canon about the cops who wanted to expose Tenpenny and Pulaski had some self interests behind the scenes. Perhaps maybe Tenpenny was working for the head of the crash unit that operates all throughout the urban areas of San Andreas. Like he knew his boss was dirty and decided to branch out his own criminal kickback and maybe hope to rise up in the ladder and using the crack epidemic is a means of controlling his own branch of racketeering as well as give the kickback to the boss and his boss backing Tenpenny is why Tenpenny never got scolded. Even throughout the events of gta San Andreas, he’s like untouchable. Even using CJ to rid of witnesses and evidence of his dirty work. Even after the riots near the end and Tenpenny was killed, Tenpenny himself opened up the corruption of the crash unit and created a scandal and trial after a year since the end of gta San Andreas. And this caused the boss of the crash unit to kill himself or got arrested and tried.

  • @michaelrigoletti2410
    @michaelrigoletti2410 Год назад +28

    Hero is a bit of a loose term in this regard, though they were very impactful of the story line for GTA:SA. Officer Pendelbury was simply doing his job, poorly at that as mentioned, since he did not expose the unit, but instead either threatened to reveal what CRASH was up to, or through sloppy work, let them realize he was investigating and gathering evidence on them. It is also possible that he was trying to 1-up the corruption on Tenpenny, perhaps trying to get some financial kick-back from his growing enterprise that he learned of. As for Officer Hernandez, he was a classic green rookie cop, likely joining the police force wanting to do good, but too naive when faced with the harsh realities that society itself was not just bad on the surface, but from within too. He simply got in over his head, folded to the pressure in murdering Pendelbury, and allowed himself to be subject to Tenpenny's corruption.
    Either way, neither of the acts are really heroic, despite that they did end up being killed on the job. To be heroic, Pendelbury should have simply exposed CRASH for what it was when he had the chance, not hesitating to feed information to someone at Internal Affairs, even if it was incomplete, this way his sudden disappearance would be noticed too, leaving others able to resume his investigation, rather than the evidence all dying with him. Hernandez might be more heroic if he had used the gun he had to shoot Tenpenny, and possibly Polaski if he had the chance instead of Pendelbury, but instead he went the safe route and followed instruction from his clearly corrupt leadership.

    • @gaminginvestigators
      @gaminginvestigators  Год назад +7

      When we were talking about them being heroes, we were actually referring to their bravery 😅 Like, it takes guts to try and screw those corrupt police officers. Even though their way of doing was a bit clumsy, they were trying to expose Tenpenny and Pulaski after all. And for sure, killing them would be the easy way, but it's not always that easy in reality. A good example would be that CJ could kill Tenpenny and Pulaski tens of times: during the Snail Trail, Misappropriation, etc. Still, he didn't do that 😃

    • @michaelrigoletti2410
      @michaelrigoletti2410 Год назад +5

      @@gaminginvestigators that is true. There is a fine line between bravdo and stupidity, and they demonstrated that well. If you think about it as a San Andreas civilian tempeny wasn't that bad...yes he was corrupt and yes he made profit out of it but he did had a plan behind this,he was manipulating and playing players and if his plan worked without problems the criminals in san andreas would be combined into one single criminal organisation with big smoke as a leader puppet which from one side it would be more organised but on the other side it would be easier to be controlled by tempeny on not spilling innocent blood on drug wars!In reality police cant get rid of crime of the streets but it can control it into areas or people

    A new member of C.R.A.S.H. and a Mexican immigrant, who Tenpenny and Pulaski love pushing around like a slave. He joined C.R.A.S.H. to eradicate gang crime, however, he was forced by Tenpenny to silence Ralph Pendelbury, an Internal Affairs officer of the LSPD who uncovered Tenpenny and Pulaski's corruption within the department. He mostly serves as their henchman in the background handling every menial task that Tenpenny and Pulaski don't want to deal with themselves. Interestingly his character is very similar to this movie character.
    Expy: Of Jake Hoyt from Training Day. Both are laughed at by their new mentor upon first meeting after describing a past event on the job, both hesitate to participate in corrupt actions but are coerced into doing so, and both have the initials "J.H.".Compared to Tenpenny and Pulaski, he's practically a saint. Hell, he might as well the only honest cop in the entire GTA franchise.

    Ralph Pendleberry was a good cop as well as Jimmy Hernandez, but unfortunately, for Officer Hernandez, he fell into the wrong group.
    He was emasculated, bullied, guilt tripped and manipulated into being complicate in their corruption.
    In that one mission in Las Venturas (forgot the name), the real reason Hernandez was gone long was because he told on C.R.A.S.H.
    Jimmy was an honest and good cop who didn't deserve his fate.
