Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is a 2004 action-adventure game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. It is the seventh game in the Grand Theft Auto series, following Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (2002). It was released in October 2004 for PlayStation 2, and in June 2005 for Microsoft Windows and Xbox. The game is set within an open world environment that players can explore and interact with at their leisure. The story follows former gangster Carl "CJ" Johnson, who returns home after the death of his mother and is drawn back into his former gang and a life of crime while clashing with corrupt authorities, rival criminal syndicates, and other enemies. Carl's journey takes him across the fictional U.S. state of San Andreas, which is heavily based on California and Nevada.

Also it could’ve been better had Big Smoke been the traitor and some Ballas been his second in command. Or even B Dup. And CJ saw that Big Smoke is selling out and Ryder sees the Green Sabre and as Big Smoke commits to a drug by shooting, Ryder saves CJ but at the cost of his life. Ryder could’ve been a major reason for CJ to return to grove street when Sweet gets out of prison and reminds CJ in why you return and why Grove Street needs you. That CJ forgotten Ryder and that his business gaining opportunities made him forget what he really is. Despite how CJ wanted to get out of the hood life. And that the business life made him a hollowed individual. That his journey in destroying the crack and drug empires in Los santos would motive him to being a legitimate businessman in saving Los santos and maybe the whole of San Andreas if he wishes to expand his career beyond the LS. Truly a good ending. Maybe if they wanted a crossover of the three gta protagonists. Making it set between 1993 and 2000 would make sense to have Tommy and Claude join up with CJ in handling their common enemies. Even have Catalina joking with CJ and in which Cesar supports CJ and stops Catalina for being a narcissist and that small tick would create a domino effect in her life as well as for Claude. As she grows to being so cold blooded. More so that she does turn on Claude as she sees him as small time. All business and less romance.

Originally, GTA SA would have three protagonists (According to discarded files from the game) it is thought that they would have been CJ, Cesar and Sweet, Likewise, Ryder's betrayal was something of the last minute.
Man I think Rock Star could truly make a raw gem with GTA San Andreas with a real Remake with discarded ideas, current game mechanics and much more

Originally, Big Smoke and Ryder weren't suppossed to be traitors but Ryder VA made a dispute with Rockstar so Rockstar decided to make them the traitors.
this isnt true. there were never any disputes with ryder’s voice actor (mc eiht). they were both meant to be traitors, however Ryder’s betrayal was supposed to be revealed in Photo Opportunity instead of Green Sabre, hence why he is never mentioned until after that mission.
