Live up to your potential, bring out the best out of your situation, embrace God, try yourself in business and try to get some financial stability going.

To just ignore it and say everyone is equal is denying reality.
I need some advice. I am currently 18 years old, and I found a girl. we didn't have our first date yet, but we are planning to go on a date next week. I know her already a bit, and we called a few times. She absolutely is a godly woman and I really like her. Altough I myself am not in the best state, I suffer from depression and I am definitely not financially stable. Should I risk waiting after working on myself? It probably won't workout then. Or should I slowly date her and in the meantime work on myself? Sry for my bad English. I would love to get some advice
I'd start improving my spiritual health first, fighting my depression by embracing God. I'd then start hitting the gym and trying myself in business. If you did this while you were dating, she'd start seeing your improvement, and being a godly woman get more and more attracted to you as you get closer to that godly man status imo

I just think it id a fundamentalist religious myth that mental health problems are fake, like john macarthur said. After my 'conversion' experience my mental health got worser and worse. Also I go regularly to the gym. And about a business, maybe that is not a bad idea, although I can't fully immerse myself into that because I am still going to school.

Belief is a powerful tool but as it is powerful it is also dangerous. We do not live in time where the only explanation and salvation is god and our interpretation of his word. We now know more about the complexity of life itself and nature than we ever did before. Many subjects that are talked about here touch complex issues. Arguments regarding them completely brush of the nature and complexity of the matter because of the most powerful argument of them all - gods will. Therefore those arguments should only be taken superficially. Belief is a light relief and you should not base your life on it because it is like putting band-aid on a gaping wound it works as long as it gives you comfort but does not permanently solve the underlying issue. At best use it as guidance but not as pointer. It would be wise before making a choice to know enough first then base your choice on knowledge or belief.
