    Finally!! .... 15 videos later and I finally come across someone talking sense, straight to the point, no wondering off topic, told me some things no other video did. Thank you!
    I am getting a Mudmaster to add to my G-shock collection, just can't decide out of the 1000 or 2000 lol. Money isn't the issue and it'll be my main hiking and climbing watch. Think I will go for this model though.
    Cheers for a great video 👍🏻
    ATB...Chris

    Cool review. Mudmaster is, and always will be the best G-Shock. The looks are enough of a reason to get it, not to mention the features. My apocalypse and daily for that matter.

    I have just got the black and silver one (it is 6 days old at the time of commenting) Its everything I have been looking for for some time and I am very happy with it! I went with this colour because as its such a large watch I wanted it not to stand out any more. Love your review and found it most useful and helpful.

      Many thanks and I hope you'll enjoy it. Mine is still going strong with regular wear and no issues. Another tritium watch coming up soon

    Nice review! I bought a GWG 2000-1A5ER. Awesome watch! Too bad it’s not big enough for my wrist 😂😂😂. I got a question though: if I am traveling from East Coast to the West Coast-will Watch automatically change the time accordingly to the time zones????

    Great looking watch , except for the yellow band , wish it was darker. I have 2 GGB 100 s one in the limited edition BRITISH ARMY beautiful looking watch. Love it. Wish this one was in that style.

      In agreement. I'm not a fan of the 3 colour choices for new series. This one was the least bright. It's fairly innocuous in the flesh though

    Slight detail, if you are in a Nuclear Winter then multiple nuclear warheads have detotated, the Electro Magnetic Pulse from any of these devices would have fried any unshielded electric devices, including G-Shocks. Best bugout watch for any occation would be an mechanical watch. I am currently trying to decide if I am going to buy this watch, question is what does it offer over my GG-B100?

    It’s a cool watch, but for a post apocalyptic situation, give me a a tough automatic. Something like the Hamilton frogman canteen.

    • @onthebench5968

      Tbh, features-wise there's nothing added. Yes it's a smaller size, but probably not worth the expenditure if the 1000 is still in good order. But, if you've got to scratch the itch, you could always sell the 1000 to take the sting out of the cost. Thanks for watching!

    A crown on a mud master is just dumb.a compass without a step counter in the real world not good.why would you change the strap not tactical enough

    • @onthebench5968
      @onthebench5968  2 года назад

      No, it's just really uncomfortable for me. The edges are borderline sharp and I wind up with a hotspot on my wrist from it rubbing. There's no give in it at all. The good news is that conversion kits are now available. I've ordered one, and will do a follow up video when it arrives.

    ... sorry to say, but the gwg2000 is a fake outdoor watch, this casio doesn't even have a pedometer, no sunrise/sunset and a lot other missing fuction - for such a price???? ... i switch now to a garmin tactix 7 PRO - THIS is real outdoor-adventure watch

    • @onthebench5968
      @onthebench5968  2 года назад +4

      Agreed, there's plenty adventure watches that do more. I think where the mudmaster has most beaten is durability. I'm pretty confident I could drop a house brick on it without any concerns, where other brands would have me looking for the warranty card.
      Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy the other reviews.

    • @firmasyahrian2483

      But isn't Garmin Tactix 7 PRO double the price? Of course it'd be better (except maybe the look). On the same price range it'd be Garmin Instinct 2 Solar tactical. Now that I want to know which one is which.

    • @Crisnav83
      @Crisnav83 2 года назад +1

      Its a high end G shock. Why wouldnt it have vibration protection like every other g shock. Dont think thats true. It even has visible alpha gel which is for vibration protection.

    • @onthebench5968
      @onthebench5968  2 года назад +2

      Yes it's a built in feature really of the construction rather than a stand alone feature of it. Tbh any Gshock is about as shock proof as you can get in any variety of wrist watch. If you drop this, you're more likely to break the floor tile than the watch 😀

    • @RESISTFEAR
      @RESISTFEAR 2 года назад +1

      So I pulled the trigger on this one once I seen It disassembled compared to the 1k. The carbon core and the carbon lugs are insanely strong, plus the bolts serve a function Instead of fake lugs on 1k. I think the 1k just looks tougher but really Isn't 😉
