Thought it was time for some real talk 😂💩. Car camping isn't always glamorous but I've seen worse setups 🤣. Hope you enjoyed this informational video everyone and just as an added disclaimer, I was sent the TOPDON jump starter for free to include in this video 👍
Hi Brendan, Nice to see you! Great list and glad you kept it real...everybody needs a loo at some point! Hope you and the family are well! Please give Mika a cuddle for me! Have a wonderful weekend! Thank you for sharing, take really good care of yourself! Stay well! Much love Kathy x 💖
Great vid. Yes a no. 1 is more of an issue for women but I use a shewee. For no. 2 much the same as you only mine is just a bucket with some foam taped around edge, plastic bag inside with a bit of cat litter. If you gotta go, you gotta go. Lol. Keep them coming. 👍
Great tips regarding no 2, One tip is even a kids sandcastle bucket .line it with a dog pooh bag treble dog pooh bag it, then dispose of it when you can. It really doesn't smell treble bagged.
Love your videos ! Top tip for the Portaloo if using sawdust, I use a biodegradable bag in mine instead of the black bin liners, it's all degradable then and kinder on the environment we love 🙏
You’re no.1 when it comes to the no.2’s Brendan 😂 Really helpful video, l got a jumpstart/ power bank after waiting ages to get a flat battery sorted on my motorcycle in freezing cold February weather!
I need to get one too after getting a flat battery overnight in a remote spot and then having to hike hours up the mountain for phone reception to call for help - a whole day wasted!
Nice video! Would be nice to do if I ever get over to the UK! Regarding the loo, If you have "horse bedding pellets" (made of pine) over there, it's the perfect thing to absorb urine. No smell at all.
From one car camper to another, some good tips there...but not necessarily the ones I would have given. That's the joy of car camping though...each of us has different priorities and needs
I did my first ever car camp the other day and I didn't have anything with me to use for a toilet I needed to nip home to do a number 2 it's a good job I was only 20 minutes away from home. Leason learned lol.
@@BrendanExplores Thanks mate yeah jt was good had a decent ish sleep, I need to make some window covers as well just watched you essentials video you gave me some ideas.
Have you thought of using water retaing granules as used for planting it turns to gel when liquid is absorbed along with cat litter or sawdust does the job !
What i am really interested in is: What kind of temperatures are nice for sleeping and just being around and in the camper car during the day? Does 6°C at night and 13°C peak temperature still feel okay or is one sitting in the car with a winter cloak all the time? :D
Hey buddy 👍. Actually the temperatures you mention aren't too bad at all. As long as you have a good quality sleeping back and layers of clothing for outside you will be fine 🙂. I would say perfect car camping temperature is 20c in the day and 12c at night. That keeps the car cool enough at night while still making you feel the benefit of a snuggly sleeping bag 😁
If only I had watched this before becoming homeless lol ..because yes it does get really cold 🥶..went to sleep boiling hot on the back seat woke up early hours shivering and then couldn't get warm ..and with no heater or ac in the car .it wasn't too much fun ..probably worse night I've had ..probably should of just got the mattress and duvet out but it was late (even if it's late set up your bed guys )

Just got my bucket loo for my next trip. Only mine has cat litter. Got everything else covered. Can’t wait too hit the Lake District next week
@@sharonbarlow2262 nice one! I might get some cat litter as well just incase 👍. Enjoy your camp 😁

Great tip 👍 I'll have to invest in some 🙂. Any recommendations on where to get them cheap? Supermarkets?
@@BrendanExplores yeah any supermarket really, just bigger than the kitchen caddy size. Co-op biodegradable carrier bags fit the portaloos quite well
Definitely give it a go in your driveway first!
Brilliant advice 🙂👍
Nice one Brendan, was sitting eating my lasagne for dinner and nearly spat it back out when you said you can ‘suck it back in’ cheers 😂
😂😂😂 just one of my many talents 👍🤣. Glad you enjoyed the video buddy and thanks for leaving a comment 🙂
#11 - favourite cuddly toy! 😁
Gunna have to invest in one 🤣👍

That's a worthy title to hold, thank you 😂👍. Yeh I always take one with me now just incase as I've had the low battery warning pop up once or twice 🙂
I need to get one too after getting a flat battery overnight in a remote spot and then having to hike hours up the mountain for phone reception to call for help - a whole day wasted!
Cool vid bro I'm looking at getting onto car camping just saving for a 2nd car
Ahh great 🙂 I hope you enjoy it and have some great times 👍

Great video with sound advice , however I think I prefer my own bed lol 😆
Ditto!! 😂 Great way to get away for cheap though 👍😁

I'll have to look into that buddy 👍. I hope I never have to use it mind but it's best to get in right if the time comes 😂👍

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣I think I would stick with a bucket and some saw dust oh and a shovel
Still a very good way to go 😂👍. If I have my window covers up though then I can go poo poo anywhere 😉 lol
Had a laugh at your porta pottie. We have a chemical one but neither of us have done a 💩in it. We just don't fancy emptying it with 💩 in it. 🫣
🤣 yeh I haven't actually used mine yet thankfully but it's nice knowing it's there lol
