Thank you for posting this.. Finally a video that explains what needs to be done to put OEM Raptor wheels on a non-Raptor F-150. There is so much jargon and really lots of conflicting info on fitment/ rubbing issues/ whether a lift is needed out there on the web. Glad I watched this, I already have a 2 inch leveling kit on mine, now I can move forward with wheels/ tires without worry. Your truck looks awesome by the way!
Great truck. Purchased the same wheels and tires for $1200 on eBay. My truck is a 2013 f150 4x4 leveled on Bilstein 6112s on the tallest setting. Upon initial installation I didn’t experience any rubbing however, as soon as I backed into my driveway it began to rub. Minimal trimming of the lower valance and wheel well liner eliminated it. Couldn’t be happier.
I just got these same wheels for 1000$ here in California I have the same year truck crew cab I love the look man I will be putting mines on this week 💪🏾😎
Bro I have a 2018 f150 5.0 xl base . I switched my steelies to the xlt wheels too lol . Just bought myself some methods for Christmas . Looking at your video cause I want 35s now instead of the 285 70 17 baby 33s I got .
Finally found a video where somebody bought a white XL supercab and put a little build on it. About three months ago I purchased a 2017 F150 XL 4x4 supercab and I have the same Raptor Wheels as you do that I picked up for $900 with 35 bfg a/t. On the 15th of March I'm getting a 2.5 inch level on the front but the place I'm getting the level kit installed insists that the 35s will not fit up front so I have to get 33s. Question when you bought the XL did you have the black bumpers and the black headlight protectors? Thank you sorry for the long text
Yes. Check out my other videos. It started life with me as an XL work truck with black bumpers and all. I used a 2 inch lift on the front and the 35s fit great with OEM Raptor wheels.
Hello sir, hope all is well. 5 days ago on my 17 XL 2.5 level installed with my 2020 Raptor rims and 315 /70 17 BFG A/T installed. They had to remove the crash bar on the front other than that it fits perfect drives straight I love it. Just a couple of questions when you did the facelift video and pulled the headlight protectors off did you sand them down smooth and just use a basic Rust-Oleum gloss white paint to paint those white? On my truck it was a fleet truck so it has the black kind of rough feeling plastic. Did you sand yours down smooth or were they smooth already? And also that very cool F-150 sticker that you have on that driver side rocker panel. Where did you get that I've been hunting for it thank you so much
@@joecarroll9437 The sill guard sticker was on the truck when I bought it. I did sand and paint the plastic parts on the truck. It's in one of the videos. They were not available for Ford due to supply issues so I chose to paint them. I used Bulldog plastic parts adhesion promoter and a high quality primer before using urethane paint followed by 2 part urethane clear coat
Truck looks great! Just curious, what is the overall height from roof to ground? I'm thinking of going to the same setup, but I still need the truck to fit in the garage.

Great video man! Appreciate the attention to detail

Great deal. Enjoy man. Thanks for watching.
Wow I found a set with 1100 miles on them for 350 I guess I got a steal
I did have the dealer put the same tires and svt rims on mine brand new and they did a 3 inch lift and love it
Did you have to put spacers on
Nice. Debating on 33’s or 35’s for my f150.
ID on those headlights?? Very clean.
Vland
Nice build
any issues with tire hitting the upper control arms?
No. Not at all
Very detailed.
Looks awesome !
Does the truck have a max tow package with large rear brakes ?
Don't think so
This was perfect!

At first they seemed HUGE but now I wouldn't want anything less. Plus the bf Goodrich all terrains ride super smooth and aren't noisy

@@JackofAllMasterofNone thank you sir very very much.
Nice video.
Do you you know, will it fit if I have 1.5 level?
I'm not sure. Ive always heard you need a 2 inch level, but I think at half and inch less I would still be ok
Is there any noise when braking, like when the ABS is activated?
No.
Truck looks great! Just curious, what is the overall height from roof to ground? I'm thinking of going to the same setup, but I still need the truck to fit in the garage.
Don't know off the top of my head but mine will fit in my standard garage with 7 foot door. The antenna is the only thing that hits
Thanks 👍
Do you still have the factory crash bars on the front?
Yes these are factory wheels that require no modifications to the vehicle except for the 2-inch level on the front
Looks great, how's the ride quality? How's road noise? Thx!
Ride quality is awesome. The tires are as quiet as stock. BF Goodrich dont mess around :)
Hi, what are the exact specs on these? Do you know?
Don't know sorry
You think i could make this work with a 1.5" level kit?
Not sure. Everything I've read said 2" minimum
Are the tires 315/70/17?
Yes
yes sir!
Did you take out the crash bars?
No. Zero modifications needed with 2" level
2015 F150 Super Cabs did not come with crash bars, in 15 it was only on the Crew cabs.
How much did ur Speedo change
Don't really remember. I reprogrammed it immediately so it would be correct. It was around 5mph or so.
@@JackofAllMasterofNone did you do that forscan?
@@Dirtbikeracing101 yes
Hi Jack, did you change the wheels only for the appearance, or was there additional performance or functionality gained?
Mainly looks, but gained a ton of traction and off road capability with the big BF Goodrich AT tires.
What about a RWD
They are lower. I doubt they would fit without a bigger lift
@@JackofAllMasterofNone I have a 2 inch on my rwd will these fit?
@@david_derlak they should yes
