Renewal by Andersen does not sell A series. A series is Andersen’s door not Renewal’s. Renewal sells a fiberex door. Andersen A series is a fiberglass exterior with wood core interior. Renewal does not sell a wood frame door. Renewals door would not be able to perform like this, the exterior fiberex will fall apart when submerged in water.
That’s the stupidest comment I ever heard. We do sell A series and there is no such thing as a fibrex door, yet. RBA will have a fibrex entry door soon but until then fibrex is simply the best material for a window ever created. You actually sound like you know what you’re saying except it’s all a lie.
@@Jordichurch Renewal actually doesn't sell a fibrex door. They sell Andersen's A-Series, 400 series, Narroline, and Permashield doors. Also, idk where you got your information regarding fibrex, it actually doesn't wick water what so ever, so it wouldn't fall apart when submerged as it's incapable of absorbing any of that moisture.
@@pepperroni4016 I have the 200 series. Not sure what line but I think only different between 200 & 400 is the shades inside the door. I did installed it myself. I was tricky becuz the instructions and pics on certain item wasn't cleared. Little confused on some of the weather stripping. It would have been nice if it was they were predrilled like some of the other parts so you know exactly where it goes. But, I do love the end results. If you have a great view outside and you really want to bring that natural light and fresh air. It's definitely a buy. Good luck
as cool as this is an as impressive as the product (and installation!) are. im amazed this house is built so low to the ground. Usually in areas this is possible the house will at least be 3-4 feet up either on stilts or a crawl space.
Many who do not know the difference between Andersen and Renewal by Andersen...all patio doors sold by Renewal by Andersen are Andersen brand pation doors. Their is no such thing as a Renewal by Andersen patio door.
20/20/10 in our region. 20 on frame and glass includes efficiency and 20 on install. 10 on hardware and screen from RBA. Best contractor in home improvement hands down.
I wouldn’t trust any other doors in my houses...Andersen is the BEST!

Those are the quad panels right. They open the 2 middle outward. I think that's the same one I have 200series. Nice
Do you have 200 series permashield or narroline ? Do you like it? Any issues ? How's it look? Did you install it yourself?
