I am suffering deeply. As an inquirer for the last several months, I was attending Divine Liturgy every other week. My wife, an evangelical, told me it was too much for her and she can’t be married to someone who is Orthodox because she doesn’t believe it is Christianity. She has told me I cannot go back or it will cause her to divorce me. Pray for me brothers and sisters, and pray for her.
Her perspective is not very Christian, even by protestant standards. Paul tells us to not separate even if the person is a non-believer.
I will say, as a former protestant, it took me around year to fully understand and accept a lot of Orthodoxy. Some points that may help:
The liturgy practiced by Orthodoxy has been used by Christians since the 300s. If it's not a valid form of Christianity, then Christianity did not exist for the first 1500 years after the death of Christ.
@@derekpetersen1078 we are dealing with a problem in general communication also. We are not able to speak on this topic at all at the moment. She isn’t grounded in reason, as you see. In her mind it’s all a matter of opinion, and trying to point out the wrong beliefs she holds is a prevention of letting her have an opinion.
I love her dearly and pray every day for her and our marriage and children. God help us.

The best thing you can do it try to follow Christ as closely as you can, and continue to reform your heart. You can't change her, but she can see Christ's mercy and grace working in you. It's always a battle to fight against your inner passions, but press on! Glory to Christ.
Bro tell her if she is a hardcore Christian she will listen to HER MAN, her head as it were on these matters. The Lord had commanded a wife to submit to husband, her provider and protector
Women are to be quiet in church and to ask their husband to decipher what was taught.

I hope there was an easier way . I hate pain and suffering and heart aches, I hate cancer and death and missing dear ones . Christ came so we could have a better life here and in heaven .why do we have to suffer ?If he paid the price for us why do we still have to pay?
Jesus said that we will have troubles here in this world but he overcame this world. He is the only Hope that we can hold thats not gonna faint. may the Lord guide us all, he is with us, always🙏🏽
Because we are still alive and sinning. He overcame death and sin, but He has not destroyed it all because He wants everyone to have their chance at salvation… (that is my editorial on it)
