Most clear, honest, technical, yet simple, gadget reviewer in India. I am glad you always reviewed in english since i dont understand most indian languages
If Google won't switch to tsmc for future tensor chips heating and battery draining issues still be there. Even Qualcomm take a lesson after sd888 and sd 8 gen 1 and shifted to tsmc
whatis tsmc?
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company
@@pratikpatra-0623 the good soc in layman term.
TSMC to Samsung Foundry: Technique hi galat hai tumhari
It is not just TSMC. It has also to do with SoC architecture otherwise Samsung might have manufactured their own Exynos on TSMC for their S series device rather than going for Snapdragon. Even 8Gen 1 didnt heat up as much as Exynos and Tensor
Whoever is reading my comment. Dont take the heating issue mentioned by Ranjit lightly. I sold my pixel 6A last week. Its so uncomfortable to touch and use the phone with tesnor chip ( exynos) is that the whole metal grill is like hot rod. Believe me my thumb and palm was burned in prolonged usage of 20 mins or so on mobile data. Its that HOT. So before throwing away your money , listen carefully to what Ranjit says.
i"m still gonna buy pixel anthing else ?

I'm using pixel6a,it gets warm after prolong use but nothing like it will burn ur fingers. With backcover u will feel nothing..

I'm watching tech reviews from various youtubers from 6-7 years now and I have come to a conclusion that almost all Indian youtubers dont really make a proper buying guide type video for the masses rather they have turned into puppets of smartphone manufacturers only gyan therapy and Mr. Ranjit have kept the legacy to make and unbiased and true to life reviews which are really useful and that's the reason this channel has such longevity !
Lots of love to you Sir ❤
Agreed!!!
Agree with you.
I trust Mr Ranjit more than any1 in tech industry, and one more reason of liking him the most is that as i am following tech products from around 10 years myself, I find majority of the time my opinion is same as his about any product whether it's smartphone, wearables or electric cars. Love u Sir, keep making consumers aware.
I agree with you and him about all tech apart from electric cars... I do not think he has the correct notion on the impact of electric cars ....
Lol, yeah I too was trusting him, till he said iqoo 11 with SD 8 Gen 2 lagged and had stutters but a54 with some ancient mediocre processor was performing well🤣🤣
@@clarkkent4872 Not only chip optimisation also matter my friend 😂😂
@@Maxten7 lmao. I am using iqoo 11 for almost a month now. I'm yet to find the micro stutters which he was mentioning🤣. But according to Ranjit, the crappy Samsung a54 is blazingly fast🤣🤣.
@@clarkkent4872 Lol 🤣🤣
Was about to purchase it but only because of heating issues i'd never! Glad i waited for ranjit's q&a and review
Chipset is the problem otherwise good phone
Same here....
@@vinay6807ya i know
with software update it should reduce, but a major hardware problem cant be resolved by software updates however with software update heating might reduce by 10-20%
@@chinmayteli110 I have the Pixel 6a and it's fantastic but no amount of software updates helps when it comes to heating. You simply cannot game on this phone unless you are have a cover on which makes it easy to hold while heating
The review which I was waiting for. Thank you😍😍
Sir, plz dont abandoned the phone completely, make another review after android 14 update before BBD sale as most of us will be buying it on the sale 🙏.
Pixel 7a is the most refined "a" series device. I have been using it for the last 4 days. I agree with most of the comments made by Ranjit. The two key -ve points are the heating issues and the painfully slow charging.
Arnt these 2 things the main concern of the smart phone
And the terrible network reception
How slow to charge pixel phones ?
I m a 6a user and the same complaints there on my phone too. Why s 7a more refined then?
@@prasannaraju8977 Refined in terms of the build quality, display, 2nd gen tensor.
Really nice video, Ranjit sir 👍🏻😊
Absolutely nailed it Ranjit sir!! Iam using the Pixel 7 for almost 6 months and it gets heated up even for basic tasks like watching videos, listening to music, Instagram and FB. And the battery life is so pathetic it's becoming a headache for me to travel without the charger!
As always most blunt smartphone review of Pixel 7a available on internet....no one other than you can provide such indepth review of the phones....Hats off to you sir
G2 has serious heating issues even when compared to S22U's SD8 G1. I was doing a basic speed test between my S22U and my father's 7Pro. I opened 10 basic apps, did some ram management testing and the Pixel was getting pretty hot even though I didn't open any intensive apps.
You are always straightforward... Keep it up, thanks for being this much clear on the India requirement.
Please suggest me that can i buy this pixel 7 for exchanging my iphone 13 whice is 3 months handset. Please let me know. Can I buy this pixel 7 or I keep my iphone 13
Great review as always
Sir is there any chance Google fix the heating issues thru OTA Updates? Or is it worth buying if they refuce the Price below 35k. What do u think Sir?
I'll suggest waiting for 2-3 weeks before finally concluding about its heating problem. As setting up and syncing with data needs a lot of processing. Similar heating was noticed in intial use of 6a.
This smartphone reminds me of Yu Yuphoria. That smartphone had similar design on the side frame with the slight matt finish.
Thank you for this comprehensive review (y)
If the heating issue is due to tensor g2 chip, does pixel 7 also heats up in same way?
I don't know but my pixel 7a is not overheating after an update received yesterday.
Let me know if you face the same
@geekyranjit appreciate your efforts to provide honest reviews.
Could you do a comparison video between Pixel 7a and Motorola Edge 40?
Thanks man for yours genuine review..
Best channel for mobile reviews
Ranjit sir you are the best youtuber in my opinion ❤ although many people would argue that you are not gaining subscribers from past few years but it's okay, I always rely on your reviews whenever I wish to buy techy products 😇
I know you are not like other youtubers with catchy thumbnails and all, but still I would say consider giving some context about video in thumbnail like for this “some problems” or whatever it greatly increases the curiosity of the viewer I think , idk , great review tho was waiting for your take on it.
Does the pixel 7 also have heating issues while gaming?
Hello Ranjit. I am having same issue with Pixel 4a. Heating and switching off under normal usage of Android Auto for navigation and music on Spotify, using mobile data. Google should do more research for heat management for Indian conditions. I will have to think again to consider a Pixel, for my mobile upgrade which will be around this Diwali.
Ranjit Sir : As a Pixel 4a user, i can confirm that Google does slows up the charging speed quite a lot when the temperature sores up. My pixel 4a which usually takes 1.3 hour to fully charge, in current summer conditions without AC takes almost 2 hour to charge. It has the plastic back still it gets so hot while charging without AC, it is slight scary to use atall. Hence i do try to switch off the phone while charging
Yeah and the 4a has heating issues as well. I own it from day 1 and I can confirm that it has heating issues.
I too own the 4a, and I did the mistake of using it for navigation in my 2-wheeler. The back plastic melted, phone shut down and the sim slot is not working anymore, thankfully it has the e-sim which I can use.
@@srikrishna_97lmao is this true fr😂😊
@@VarunSrinivas indeed it's true 🥲
The shaky stabilization is an odd occurrence, i think it might be your particular device. I've been using the 7A and the stability has been rock solid, even while zooming 🤔.
i didnt even consider that the local temparature would be factor into choosing your phone, does that mean the phone over heats quiet a bit ? Noted i live in Montreal hence, the temperature wouldnt surpass 35 degrees celcius in the summer
I think we should wait 3-4 months so that google can fix the software issues and also we all know the price will drop drastically within few months. I was too waiting for this phone but now I will wait for the Nothing Phone 2 as software experience is my main priority
Thanks for the video. Very helpful in making the decision.
After update, is the heating issue resolved
this review was much needed
Google needs to listen to Indian users because the Pixel can hold quite a good percentage of market share if they start to introduce service centers, self repair programs and listen to feedback from Indian users and actually move to TSMC instead of using samsung for chips. I hope Pixel 8 series will address the heating issues even when they go for Samsung chips.
Google have attitude problem. Paisa bahut hai na yelog k pas toh dhyan nai dete ye sab chiz log buy kre ya na kare... jabki wo jaante hai ye sab kuch.
Go for oneplus or nothing phone they are awesome
It's ironic that the CEO is Indian yet Google did not officially launch 6/6pro and 7/7pro
@@89__tirtharajpati69not releasing is also a good business strategy kinda, as percentage of market share that buys phones costing more than 60k Rs. is miniscule aka Out of reach for 95% population to spend that much on a smartphone & 5% remaining, many just wait 😅 Hoping companies or E-commerce sites put a discount like seen in recent base version iPhone. Now they are releasing just to try to increase the brand presence.
@@89__tirtharajpati69 Google Did Officially Launch Pixel 7/7 Pro in India , What are you saying?
Thank you for such reviews 🎉
Sir, can you please post a detailed review regarding one plus 11R.. 😊
Geniune review. Nobody talked about use this phone under AC only.
Pictures taken with ultra wide camera is also showing 16 mega pixel though the camera is 13 mega pixel. Just check, is it the same with your device too or just a glitch in my device?
Anyways good video. Keep it up sir.
Hello Ranjit,
Is google Pixel still a good choice ?
let me know if I should buy one for myself and most importantly I am thinking of buying it from Dubai, would that be a good idea?
Thank you
Thanks, you saved me from a bad decision. Pixel UI and Gcam would always be close to my heart but their processor & dull screen are a let down. Was expecting a better device this time ...
Thank you so much sir for discussing unheard points. Please cover poco f5 too.
Never buy poco. I have poco m2 pro. Its horrible. I will never buy poco
I was looking to buy a microwave. But after watching your video, I think I will choose Pixel 7a as my microwave.
Good Review, One quick question Why you were putting and removing specs again and again? 😀
How is Pixel 7a going to feel for someone coming from Oneplus 7T ? i am already on 90Hz screen but if the animations and everything are smooth does it matter ? Will it improve my experience ?
It will. I came from a 120hz S20+ and I feel no difference. The experience was better imo.
Planning to buy this phone as I'm a huge fan of Pixel. This would be my first Pixel phone. Does the heating issue still exist or did Google address it?
Not anymore... Just go for it.
Ranjit, will the heating issues continue or will they be solved in coming time via updates?
Google has already acknowledged the problem.
Still pixel 7 users face heating issue even for basic use
waiting for moto edge 40... hope you review it soon
Great Review ✌️keep it up sir👍
I think heating and slow charge issues can be solved via software update. It’s the service Center which will be the pain point here in India.
I don't think so. Im using pixel 6a for a year. Even after n number of updates heating and charging issue is not resolved.
It cannot be solved without compromising the performance of the device and if you're read to compromise then why the F are you willing to pay 44k?
I suggest to use signal booster at your home which operator would provide on request. Weak mobile signal below -100db will cause increase in radiation as mobile will boost signal to balance low network. Even ideal data connectivity will push mobile to increase power in low signal reception
Sir which phone I can buy under 40k battery performance preference?.?.
Geekyranjith = honest Reviews 💐
I have a doubt. Suppose I dont have cutting edge Wifi speeds where I live currently, I would be surprised if my router provides me 25Mbps speed even; will wifi connectivity be an issue then? or will other phones give better wifi reception?
I’m getting 500 Mbps+ Wi-Fi speed
Does it also lag when it gets heated?
Just wanted to get it to take advantage of early bird offer but now will have to consider something else although I don't think we can find camera comparable to this one in 40k.
BTW ambient temp in Summers is 45 degree centigrade where I live so no question of getting this device now.
Which one you will buy now
Which ones are you considering
Great decision
You can buy moto edge 30 ultra. Excellent performance and camera is also better than most of the 50k phones
I would consider s21 fe.. would like to hear some more opinions
Pls suggest best wired earphones for Pixel 7a
Sir when will you post x90 review not the pro version?
thanks for the details information.

Sir is the heating on Pixel 7a worse than Pixel 6a or are they similar?

Should i swich from 6a, frustrated by 6a's slow charging, battery draining and heating issue
i'm using this phone from past 7 months these ytbers have some serious issues with pixle phones this phone gets warm not heats up it is a good phone.
Can u please help me with the current situation of the phone after the updates..whats the battery life that ur getting , I take a lot of calls so it is pretty important and is the warming thing a big issue..thanks in advance
I have rog 5. Should i go for pixel 7 pro or any other alternative??
I've been using pixel 6a for 7 months now, let me tell you, this heating issue is such a deal breaker, I mean I have to carefully pick phone cover so that the heat gets dissipated better otherwise you simply just can't hold the phone during summer season in delhi when using outside, plus I'd recommend keep the background app count as low as you can. Otherwise the phone is good just a few bugs you will find while using it for some time and the heating I wish gets resolved atleast be brought down please.
You killed the review here itself 0:59
Hello everyone , can you suggest me best laptop around 40k for study and multimedia purpose amd good in overall performance and trusted brand
Google should change into samsung 3nm node for their next tensor chip which might solve their heating issue.
(Expecting samsung 3nm node to be power efficient with good yield ).
Good to see chapters.
Does it has Spatial Audio?
I have 3a , for last 3-4 yrs.. before that pixel 1.. this 3a , excellent phone but same negatives .. heats up , charging slow and poor, discharges early.. camera not bad at all.. wifi good...camera back up on Google excellent.. so that's a big advantage.. but this 3a is only 64 GB so with what's app msgs now this gets full and sad to see this.. difficult to put a pendrive and take data.. only gets backed up.. so many negatives, some good positives.. depends on what I wish to do with a phone... Direct Google so updates are great.. rest same.. now used to pixel that difficult to leave like iPhone lover is.. but they could improve more .. nice review thank u sir.. will plan before I get next one.. hopefully not before this one crashes..
The review pixel lovers have been waiting for
Google actually came out and addressed the heating issue with this phone and said they are going to fix it.... So I am waiting for that.. and it would be very nice to people like me waiting, if you could make an updated video on it IF the update drops.. Thanks in advance :-)
Edit: I came here from TechBar video on Pixel 7a
Exactly, same here, i also came after listening to his video only & i have commented the same in this comment section only
Sir,
Good and Frank review. I have got a clear idea from yu before buying this phone.
I have read that there are issues with the google app that is is causing heating and battery issues which has made google release a server side update. I own a pixel 7 and do acknowledge that there are some heating issues but not yet at the point of making me feel uncomfortable.
Sir,
I own a OnePlus 8t and had a very bad experience with both OnePlus and Oppo devices with their motherboard crash.
Now I'm planning to move to the Pixel devices.
Looking at the current prices I can see that Pixel 6a is a great deal, but still Pixel 7a is pulling me because of its 90 hz display and Sony IMX786 sensor compared to very old sensor on Pixel 6a.
But the only thing I'm worried is about prices. I'm not getting that interest to spend huge amount of money on smartphones. Do you think the 6GB RAM and 60 hz works for me, as I have 120hz and 12gb RAM on OnePlus 8t
Please advise me on this.
Wait for Nothing Phone 2, camera might not be better than Pixel phones, but you will get a good all rounder smartphone with clean ui and good performance with no or litte heat issues compare to Pixel 7a.
If You want a phone like Oneplus then Wait for edge 40 it has great combination of Hardware and software at 30k
I would say go for pixel 7a when it gets discounted
I would actually say wait for the next Galaxy S FE (S23 FE) - these phones have excellent camera, great chipset (ignore the exynos ones), and amazing software support.
I'm using the S20FE (2022 edition) right now with Snapdragon 865. All apps are as fluent and snappy as you can ask for, and I've rarely seen this phone lag, only when starting up or when it's at like, 5% charge remaining.
Also, this is 2 gens old at this point (S20, S21, S22), still is a Phone I'm comfortable saying that I can use for another few years without issues.
@@karanssh Pixel performance and Battery and also Slow charging doesn't make it practical for everyone
So what do you guys say about camera. Is pixel 7a better or 6a better. Looking at the images from the video I guess 6a does better job in daylights.
100% agreed, please sir make review of A54 it was 38-40k bcz all are busy in making video of S23 ultra, S23 literally no one making video of A54...
The charging issue I also felt in 6A due to the heating issue, I am from Rajasthan and it is charging so slowly due to the fact that the outside temperature is almost 45 degree and yes still the heating issue is there in 6A as well.
IMHO the problem with heating ,sub par camera performance and battery life can be ascribed to tensor g2 chip which is based on exynos . Also a sub par modem is causing connectivity issues for many. AI is not the panacea for a sub optimal hardware.
One honest reviewer! One honest review
how esim work in India?
just used Pixel 7a and it is true that it does heat more than the normal. i used camera for not more than 5 min and clicked 4-5 pictures , the phone got warm and it was a evening time with no sun.
Poco f5 5g mobile review needed Ranjit sir.... I am waiting for your review on it. Because it's a first 7gen 1 processor mobile in India
I'm using a pixel 7 pro and while it does get hot, at heavy usage, it does not get uncomfortably hot though. I played games as well and it was fine.. But in day to day usage I still prefer my P7P more than my iphone 14 pro. It's just so intuitive and fluid and takes the top for me. Also, the photos are just 🤌
I would like a review on lava agni!

Glad I watched this video, I was about to buy the pixel 7a.
Big fan of your videos and information in detail provided every time from the consumer pov. I, as a subscriber, am expecting a video from you talking about the recent issue with devices with led display from prominent manufacturers where after update lines start appearing on the screen. It will be a great help for users, and the manufacturers will provide proper service .
Following ranjit since 2012. OG of Indian tech industry! Great review but still believe that pixel 7a would be a great phone under 30k during sale
have you seen new htc mobile
Was desperately waiting for this video, i have a question sir, i have my iqoo z3 and on exchange i get pixel 7a for 31k is it worth doing it?? Or as you suggested earlier should I wait for the price drop and then exchange it?
Watch the full video you will get your answer.
Not worth even at 25K... Will think once at 20K... Will buy at 15K where its worth stands at bcz of heating issues. Google will fail bcz of their arrogance just like Nokia if they don't switch to tmsc snapdragon.
Hopefully Tensor G3 goes away from the crappy overheating Exynos base to a much more efficient (with integrated fast modem) chip from QC or even MTK (the Dimensity line would've been a good fit tbh)!
How r the mediatek chips my pal... I m planning for motoedge 40..do they have heating issues?
I have been using pixel 7A for about 2 weeks and I am happy about it. Lovely software things which you can't find on other phones. Heating is only on heavy gaming. Normal users find this very good

Hi Sir, Please do detailed review after using for some days
Plz suggest mobile under 30000 and need best camera
Loved the line "for people who are in AC rooms" 😂
Pixel should be put in a cold storage until they shift out of the Exynos SoCs.
I am still confused at them going with Exynos when Samsung themselves are working with Snapdragon and rightly so.
At 40k I would rather try out the Moto Edge 30 Fusion or Ultra for the pure android and physical service centers which don't take 4 days to answer a question and after charging 850.
Camera and size would be a bit of a trade-off.
