Okay when i opened RUclips, there was recommendation for this phone review by another channel. I clicked it. Then while i was scrolling down i found another reviewer and clicked it immediately. Then again while scrolling i found ranjit channel review then immediately clicked without watching any of the other channel reviews. Once after i clicked Ranjith channel i never scrolled down to find anyother reviews.
Because i know how practical Ranjith s review would be instead of gimmicks

3 Android and 4 years of security updates along with clean UI at 25k is a great deal.The only clean UI competitor at this price range is Motorola edge 40 series but Moto doesn't provide regular updates.
And moto quality of smartphone is questionable
@@cineenthusiast1234 I've been using Moto Edge 20 for 3 years and it still works well.The battery still gives good backup but the only thing i dislike about Moto is they stopped giving any updates after just 2 years.This new Nothing phone with 4 years of security updates is going to kill Moto Edge 40 series.

Even at around 12k budget Samsung is offering 4years of OS updates and 5 years of security patches along with it's F15👍
@@cineenthusiast1234i can assure you Motorola's quality of devices is really good. Updates are the their biggest flaw but my personal use of moto device they are really rugged devices.

Well, after looking at how pitch black the black variant is, now I understand why Nothing was shy about sharing photos until launch. Black really takes away all the details of the transparent design.
I'm still disappointed that they are cutting out the charger-in-the-box at this lower price bracket as well.
And folks who buy this, be mentally prepared to defend why you like the back design 😆
Absolutely agree. We shouldn't support the audacity of a new brand copying the 'premium' culture of Apple, Samsung. No charger in the box for a sub 40k phone is a sin. F Apple for starting this and Samsung for promoting this.
Why does anybody need to defend why they like the back design? If you like it you it, if you don't then you don't. Honestly, initially even I didn't like the horizontal camera design but the design grew on me. Quite the same way when apple brought the new diagonal design it raised a lot of eyebrows but now it's an industry standard.
Back design likeable or not is depends on individual most of u use cover so i don't understand what's big fuss about it

A slight bit correction at 8:50 , I have the Phone2 and I use the dark icon theme as well, you need to manually update the Icon pack once to get all the icons. A lot of the apps you are using does have the blacked out phone icons on my Phone 2. As usual, amazing review, keep up the good and honest work you do.

*Performance and cameras are average tbh* but I'm not complaining much for the price. Great battery, Good display, decent speakers, avg haptics and clean UI (although not as smart as Pixel UI.).

LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2 is kinda let down for me along with missing charger!
Edit: The overall performance of the phone along with software is very solid for the price and the software experience is flagship level. But I'm not sure if this will be the case after 2 years. As of now, phone 1 is performing well but it has LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 so may be better hardware is helping it to perform good. Phone 2a needs some fine tuning with the updates especially for consistent camera performance so hopefully this phone will get refined within a couple of months. I may take my word back if my assumption is wrong.

Best review so far!! but only thing i want to correct that you said about motorola is that Motorola is the exact Pixel UI and Nothing OS is somewhat modified with some extra widgets and the apps that motorola has added are not any types of bloatware , they are pretty useful apps like ready for and other apps that just make pc connectivity way easier and many more features

I was impressed with your photos. Quality seems very good, even in low light because at this price normally the phones struggle with low light.
Even Samsung doesn't give a charger in the box so it's not a big deal.
I think overall it's a very good phone at this price and probably has better OS updates than the majority of the competition.

@Geekyranjit sir, 9:00 , I think you haven't installed the nothing icon pack. That should resolve the icons not adapting the nothing's design language.
Edit : Nothing should bake this into their OS rather than requiring the user to install their icon pack manually from playstore.

Nothing is the new OnePlus (that was when it debuted). I regret buying my S21 FE (Snapdragon 888), waste of money that phone is, could've waited a few months for this phone.
Not at all , except for the battery life and gaming , the S21FE is just better . If you are talking about pricing yea , you missed a good deal .
@@Athena_101 Poor bttery life and heating issue - many people can't adjust with these two issues. I'd bought Realme gt 2 which has also sd 888. And this phone heats alot and gives really poor battery life
@@Athena_101 well battery and performance are the most essential features of any smartphone. Also, the charging speed of s21fe is abysmal. So, yeah this phone is a much better option than s21fe
@@Athena_101 S21 FE is a hot pile of garbage. Battery life is borderline unusable, I have to carry a powerbank all the time. Network reception is bad, after a few updates, video recording leads to stuttering videos at 60fps, UI is bad in general and has slowed down after oneui 6. And the phone is built with cheap plastic, it feels like a cheap Chinese toy. Had the K20 Pro that I got in 2020 and that thing, at 25K (price back then) with custom ROM simply blows this trashy phone out of the water. I just paid more for a downgrade from my previous phone. Never buying Samsung again.
I was waiting for months and bought S21Fe 888 in the first day of BBD at 29k because I thought would not get a good deal under 30k with all those features and especially the camera, although I knew that it had battery drain issues which I will hopefully manage.
It was a huge mistake. I regretted so much. Normal usage on 4g and 60hz battery wouldn't last a day. Getting 6hrs SOT max. On 120hz and 5g, to hell with SOT. I had battery anxiety.
I understood my requirements then. Barely used camera. But battery and mid performance was my need. I love One Ui but finally after using for 4months, I sold it at 25.5k. Sold the charger also.
Then I thought of buying Galaxy A34 but chose 1+ Nord CE 3. Not regretting. Good balanced phone.
I didn't wait for 2a bcoz I don't trust Mtk processor for long usage. Sd 782 is decent.
Satisfied now.
I will buy nothing to everyone who likes this comment. Trust me.

At this price point, no other brand provides such clean software experience with regular updates and such camera quality in rear as well as front. These 2 things make phone 2a one of the best in the segment or probably best in this price.
