This guy is the most genuine tech reviewer that i have seen. I have been following this guy since 2015. Back then i brought moto g3 watching his review. Later on he started doing in depth review which helped me a lot in avoiding confusion while purchasing. He talks about practical aspects like cellular call quality and mice quality which is the most essential part which most of the tech reviewers never mentions.

@@rajuc4064 if money is not your problem then go for Samsung ultra series or iPhone pro pro Max but for now only Vivo x100 and iqoo have slight better camera. I have iPhone 15 it is also great camera phone but not for portrait. For me clean UI matters so I went for OnePlus 12 overall best all rounder phone.

Best OnePlus you can get guys... True flagship killer at flagship experience with minimum compromises. But...
IP 67 instead wireless charging, atleast should've been added.
5 years OS update instead of 4 years should've been there.
I migrated from my POCO F4 which has some good features, which I'm missing it on OxgenOS.
Apart from these my OP 12 is rocking❤

if you're shifting from an old device which is maybe 3 or 4 yrs old then you'll feel the weight but after using a week you'll stop feeling that way because your hands will adjust with the 8-10% increase in weight but the extra battery backup will come in handy for the longest of time... I had an OnePlus 7T since 2020 and the only thing I was worried about was it's puny 3800 mAh battery pack during the purchase and rightly so because after 4yrs of constant use and pushing it to the limits it was at a point where I had to charge it 3 to 4 times a day, trust me when I say it's good to have a bigger battery than 20-30 gms lighter device if you plan to use your mobile phone for longer duration.

13:40 OnePlus 9 Pro used to support PD charging too. 10 and 11 series was weird. OP12 feels like OG OnePlus phones

I had OnePlus 9 Pro before buying the 12. The 9 Pro was supporting only 18W PD charging speed, so that way it's better PD charging speed on this one.

@@iamacharya From my view it really is good upgrade from 9 Pro. My 9 Pro used to get hot very quickly and that too with very little use. The 12 doesn't heat up at all whatsoever even in the direct sun and also allows me to take longer videos with it in 4K quality. Cameras are an upgrade, display is a big upgrade and can use it in bright sunlight very easily, and battery is a huge upgrade and it goes on for a full day use with ease.

Using one plus 12 for almost 1 month and i agree with your review... The battery life is just amazing, day before yesterday i used gps navigation for 8-9 hours while driving and still at 10 pm i had 42% left,i was shocked😅, but the screen is too reflective and at auto mode it doesnot get bright enough, i think the calibration is not done well, software update might fix it... And the cameras are pretty good, the xdr photos are pleasant to watch in the phone native gallery app, as its a new thing to me, it looks damn real...
what unit did you use? china or global?
There is no way you used navigation for 9 hours and you had 42% left..

Kudos for calling out the overrated wireless charging feature, not many reviewers do that. Didn't ever understand the hype behind wireless charging. I mean some reviewers mention that not having wireless charging as a deal breaker, not for most of the actual audience. Review=10/10.
I Agree with u bro... Even one plus said years ago that they wont include wireless charging as it is not so usefull, at that time youtubers went mad for that...

I upgraded from oneplus 9 pro, I'm in love with this phone great pictures and blazing fast with a good battery.
Is the in call ear piece volume sufficient? Some people are saying in noisy environment you need to take the call in loudspeaker

Great review ... I also agree that they should have gone with a flat-screen. The curved screens are very tricky to get right in terms of clear viewing experience and it is almost impossible to get a good screen protector for them. Some might argue that it has gorilla glass Victus II , but as the saying goes " GLASS IS GLASS AND GLASS CAN BREAK "
You can get used to the curved screen very easily. I have been using curved screen smartphones for about 5 years now and faced no issues due to curved screen. People over exaggerate curved screen issues. Just get a good case and you will secure your screen for long with no screen protector whatsoever.

On the battery life what was the settings on resolution as in QHD+ or Full HDv1080p and frames per rate as in either 60 htz or 120 htz?

I have had my 12 for 2 months and just love it. I prefer the curved glass to the tablet looking blobs out there. Never noticed this being top heavy. Battery life is amazing. You will be hard pressed to find a phone at this price point with this level of execution. Great phone for most users. Not having e-sim is a good point for me. The curved screen issue totally disappears when you put it in a case like most people do. Never had issues with accidental side touches and this is my third OP phone with such a screen. Overall fair review.

Its between 30Hz to 120Hz

Hello Ranjit sir, I have a s20 plus phone which is now 3.5 years old, am planning to upgrade in a couple of months. Xiaomi 14 Pro and Op12 are in my mind. But I'm skeptical about choosing bcuz of the AI capabilities of S24(Translate and CircletoSearch) . Will xiaomi and op bring that kinda features in sw updates? or should I buy S24( I already hate the charging speeds and exynos of samsung) or should I wait for another 8 months and buy Op Open2. I really need your advice since I'll use it for 3 years at least.

The alert slider was at the left side on my OP5 and is at the right side on my current phone 8T, again it's moved back to the left side.
Planning to buy OP12, I just hate the fact that the power button and volume buttons are now at the same side i.e. at the right side.

Just keep nature tone display on when watching hdr content and are outdoor,,u will feel the difference,,the hdr content on Netflix and prime looks way brighter than samsung galaxy series

Even glass tempered glass with uv glue is very good
