I am just happy that you are back, with regular videos. RUclips feels complete now, since you are back. But don't let this mean that you have to stress yourself and make videos all the time. Do them as you please and are comfortable, but just know, it is genuinely nice to have you back.
Anyway, about the phone, I have the S23 Ultra since it launched, and I tried using the S24 series at the store. Can see no difference in usage at the beginning, but then the screen, then the AI features, the bezels and all become more obvious and I love the S24 series more and more. A wonderful set of devices they made in my opinion.
P.s. if you ever need help with interiors / architectural work with your house / office, do let me know. I am a designer. XD

Really need a review for the people who live in places like Delhi NCR specially in the Hot climate because major issue comes when we are using phone in 42 degrees and using google map at the same time with calls and other multi task during that Exynos 2100 became like a toast and it was untouchable.... once we get such reviews on how it works when
    1. Google maps is on
    2. Along with Google map ola or uber aps are on
    3. Whatsapp , insta or snapchat is on
    4. A person is taking calls
    5. Location and bluetooth is on
With all this exynos goes like a toast that is why i was concerned... if exynos 2400 handles this stress test i believe it will be a good purchase...

    Brilliant video Ranjit 🙂
Loving my Exynos 2400 S24 here in the UK 😊 The Amber yellow colour I went for.
I hope people don't succumb to the mass hysteria regarding Exynos. Everything works perfectly to perfection 😊
I tested & thrown everything on it - sustainability, stability, raw performance, general performance, games, production media apps etc.
All good, everything checks out, top level, Top Tier SOC & it will only get better with optimisation/updates 😊
I also have the 24 Ultra but it will be the secondary phone kept at home mainly for media. I could have bought any phone available with any SOC I wanted etc. yet I purposely picked the standard S24 as my main phone 😊
Compact yet powerful enough for everyday use. Good camera (especially with the Expert Raw app that's available only on the newer Galaxy's) Good level screen, decent battery life, future proof & more.

Now, it's a good thing that the Exynos 2400 is performing way better than many of us expected while keeping it efficient. Kudos to Samsung for that. I hope they keep making better chipsets in the future too.
And, I think we do need a video on camera performance, because as far as I've seen in the X/Twitter, there are conflicting results. So, we need one to know which is actually better.

@@MushtaqAhmed-tu7lo Samsung always uses chipsets that are either directly or indirectly manufactured by them. For example, the S20 FE utilized the Snapdragon 888, and the upcoming M55 is expected to use the Snapdragon 7 Gen1, both of which are fabricated by Samsung. Perhaps in the future, upcoming phones will incorporate the Snapdragon 8 Gen1. However, I had a bad experience with Exynos (specifically, the Samsung Galaxy A50s with the Exynos 9611 chipset). Performance wasn't the issue; rather, after two years, the motherboard failed. Internal heating may have been the reason, as excessive heat can severely impact the motherboard. Despite being a Samsung fanboy, I eventually shifted to OnePlus. One thing is certain: in terms of software experience, technology, and innovation, no one can beat Samsung. They are the kings of the smartphone industry.

Replaced battery for 1000 rupees, generic one. It feels so much better to use compared to a boxy phone. With lineage os it gives SOT of around 8 hours. All apps supported. After spending so much over buying phones, realized that the tech has saturated and does not give any additional satisfaction or returns.

The only reason they had to launch S24 with SD in us is because they're competing with iPhone. In India, they've competition from Redmi, OPPO, Vivo, so anything sells.

I think only US, Canada and 1 or 2 other countries get Snapdragon, meanwhile the rest of the world get Exynos including UK and EU.. so your example doesn't fair well enough for this, hence maybe not the bashing and also because it's not like India is one of the handful countries getting Exynos. But yes it would've been nice to get 8Gen3 instead of Exynos.. I also wanted to upgrade from My A71 after 4 yrs, was looking forward to it but seems like need to go for S23U instead. 🙂

think ok but what about pricing? Do you justify when OnePlus 12 offers most of the features of s24 ultra at half the price..........note charger and case not included in box

    • @ItsAssassin
      @ItsAssassin 6 месяцев назад

How is that half the price? Like base model s24 comes in 75k for 128gb with 8k bank discount as well as 8k additional exchange bonus which makes it ultimately of 59k. And personally one ui is no brainer in comparison to color OS especially with samsung's new 7 years policy update which will just increase its resale value more.
In my opinion i would take s24 over OnePlus 12 any day without any second thought (Samsung's software, camera quality as well as new ai features are just too good to miss with oneplus)
Lastly, the price of charger and case are negligible when you are considering buying a 60k range phone if it comes with additional software and daily usage benefits samsung has. The only thing oneplus has over the Samsung base model is bigger battery, screen and fast charging. But I like compact phones so the first 2 things are actually a plus for me but fast charging at least up to 45w would have been nice but oh well, we can't do anything about it.

Samsung announced in their pre-2024 review that thanks to cheaper Exynos, its profits are growing! That is the main reason why we get Exynos in India and Europe. If we asked all the techies if they wanted Exynos or Snapdragon, nearly all would go for the latter. That is the crux. Why do consumers settle for less so Samsung can make more profits?
As for how good Exynos is, the issue has always been poor yields and bad QC. Ergo, one Exynos would be okay, but the next person's would suck. Time will tell if the same applies to the Exynos 2400. From the reviews, the spectrum is broad, with some Exynos performing significantly worse. The jury is out...

Not that i dont trust ranjit sir but yesterday only i visited croma and samsung store here in mumbai and noticed that only s24 regular version demo unit was really warm and hot compared to other units like s24 ultra and even s23 regular version demo unit which too was in demo mode with screen on continuously was even cold and was not warm & hot like that s24 demo unit,
I double checked the s24 demo unit in both croma and official samsung store and both of their demo units were much hot than other models like s23 and s24 ultra too..
When i asked for the same heated unit to the croma sales guy he simply smiled and said " sir ye exynos wala he shayad isiliye hot hoo raha he"😅

It's a different modem from what is used in the S23 but similar to the S22. Maybe they are using less power, so it will be interesting if someone tests coverage versus the Intelk X75 modem in the SD8G3 versions.

I have been using S24 since 3 days. I love everything about this phone. The only problem is battery life. I am getting 4 hr 40 min of screen on time by just scrolling social media, clicking some pictures and watching youtube for approx 45 min. As a compact phone and a new chipset, I expected atleast more than 6 hr screen time with this usage. Hopw they fix it in the coming update.

I am also using S21 Fe 5G (Exynos) from Oct 2022. Only two cons - battery life ( do not expect more than 4-4.5 hours SOT in normal usage) and plastic back (you certainly need case) otherwise this gets scratches very easily.
Apart from these two cons, rest everything is fabulous.. you will love its camera (specially portraits).. Very good screen for media consumption,, very fluid performance in normal day to day usage and light gaming.
Ram management is also above average. Very good system updates.

Got mine yesterday... I was skeptical about exynos processor as well but then got a very good deal so thought lets give it a try...
I am very surprised specially with the camera... I had bought s23 at launch as well and the camera was garbage... But s24 has taken a leaf from pixels book of tensor and seriously improved the AI jugglery and post processing on images... The result is absolutely amazing...
I got this coz my pixel 8 had a lot of hardware issue's... And believe me sometimes I feel the camera on the s24 takes better images than the pixel 8...
    Really happy with this purchase...

While the Ai would have made the S24 better with the AI features, S23 produces great pictures out of the box and if you really have some expertise in photography photography, you could end up taking stunning pictures. But Indian pricing I am not sure, eventhough pricing is similar in Europe, pre order comes with good offers for exchange and also comes with very good mobile contracts where you get the phone and take a commitment for mobile data for 2 years.
