Great Job Lee, however one thing I would recommend is to put the phase tails in the back termination of the Henley Block as I see you put the neutral in the back. This is because it is less likely for someone to accidentally touch the phase block when working on the Henley Block as the back terminals are recessed. Just what I’ve been taught.
When I fit a Henley I was told always put it on a fire proof board but I don’t see any problem with the wall like you have done. Our company won’t allow it on wall. Neat job

So is it just artisan electrics that is allowed to cut tags off and pull the main fuse without getting the dno involved on video ? Everyone else gets camera shy pablo to do it
Very neat and tidy job Lee. But......it is the DNO’s responsibility, to upgrade their supply cables and fit an isolation switch......and upgrade the main cutout fuse to 100A, if the DNO supply can cope with the extra demand??
I've commented on Cory job so only fair I comment on yours, firstly I picked up some installation tips from you Lee, cheers for that. The only feedback I can give is: I would have put the Henley block between both fusebox's to give protection from knocks and high up away from kids.
Out of interest, why wasn't the henley block installed 'upside down' so you would have a 'n' shape from the isolator, and a stright down 'I' from the new box so there is a bit less cabling? (Not that it really matters, just would think looks a bit neater).
I’m amazed at the number of EVSE installs outside of garages. The choice to park a $60,000.00 vehicle outside in order to store $200.00 worth of junk in the garage is simply bonkers. Great install Lee.
Was about to say you’re brave for thinking you could upgrade all those tails to 25mm in 15-30mins 😂, looks really good Lee (first time seeing flexi tails. Congrats on securing the permanent too contract bro.
Very nice, neat job. I can see why Lee has easily completed his probation. Think I would've preferred a water-blocking gland on the 6mm into the charger rather than a stuffing gland tbh (and maybe a slightly larger bend radius) but I'm not an electrician, so prepared to be educated. Didn't get a close look at the incoming service cable but it *might* only be a 16 sq mm concentric so the DNO might be reluctant to fuse the cable-head at 100A. The 16mm cable should be able to deal with 100A surface mounted but it depends on the DNOs own rating tables, I suppose. Finally - please, please wear light eye protection when using power tools and hammering-in wall fixings! Enjoyed the video. Thank you.

I get the point of upgrading all the tails but, will Lee not get in bother with the dno with meter seal tampering? Would Lee not have been better off just leaving all the tails from the meter and just renew from his isolator then call the dno?
My Napit assessor has said the board at the clients house needs upgraded tails before he can sign me off. £295 to Western power inc isolation switch and £50 to UW for their part in and out of meter. Can't do the board change or go live with Napit till the new year. Client not happy.....or me . Can you blame Lee?

It’s almost like Lee was the missing member of Artisan, a genuine perfect fit for the team! Can’t believe how many keyboard warriors watch these videos though lol!
I doubt that the Artisan surveyor costed in replacing the tails from service head, but I love that you did the right thing and didn't skimp. Weren't you worried that the loss of power to a smart meter would be noticed by elec supplier and notified to the DNO? I note that you sealed everything properly with flag seals as well. Do you ask customer to notify supplier that seals have been changed?
For all I know, Artisan or the client notified the DNO of the charger installation, had requested upgrade to a 100amp cut-out, and conceivably the DNO condoned substitution of existing tails to 25mm. With 6mm EVUltra from the new Fusebox CU to the Hypervolt, I think 25mm tails from the Henley block to the new Fusebox CU was excessive ~ that's my only criticism.
Brave or foolhardy; I'm not sure. To pull a fuse is one thing. After all we are supposed to work on dead circuits unless impossible. But to break into a meter, that's another level. Maybe pedantic, but I would do work down to isolator and leave it to supplier to upgrade tails between fuse and isolator. They often do it for free.
Are those mains tails single insulated or double? Didn't think you were allowed to have exposed single insulated cables, had to be behind a cover like a meter panel or something. But otherwise really nice and neat work.
