She was so genuine, authentic, beautiful, and talented. The world lost an amazing artist and those poor children lost their mother too soon. Such a tragedy. There are no words. RIP Delores and thank you for the memories.
There's always this aura of soft melancholy around Dolores but when she speaks about her children, you can see nothing but pride and spark in her eyes. I appreciate that she never faked happiness or insisted on an empty permanent smile. There's something cosy about her, that makes me feel like I'm sitting with my aunt over a Sunday coffee. Rest in peace, D.
Her voice has the perfect balance between being rough and edgy and soft and soothing. I don’t know how else to put it like if you listen to zombie for instance.
Beautifully put. She was extremely authentic; to her own detriment, I feel. It’s nigh impossible to just shut-off one’s intellect and depth of feeling. Hence our world filled with addictions and vices. People need a brief break from their authenticity sometimes.
She is so genuine and down to earth for such a global, musical celebrity. Her kids must miss her so much. The world lost a very talented star when she died so young.
She was so cool. I would’ve loved to have seen The Cranberries live. I will forever regret never getting the chance. R.I.P. Dolores we love you and we miss you.
I've seen her live twice (once solo and one time with The Cranberries), and even though I loved it very much - memory fades away fast. So don't regret. We are blessed to have their music and all the interviews we have here on RUclips. It's more and it's forever.
I saw them twice and it was amazing both times in the same theater that our symphony plays. It was a long time ago, but I do remember they were amazing.
My thoughts exactly. I so wished I had the chance to see them live. Will always regret not seeing them. She is sooooo loved and very very missed. RIP Dolores ❤😢
I am so glad I got to see them at the point in Dublin 2002. I was 7 and sat on my dad's shoulders right at the front of the stage. The cranberries were my first love.
Wow... She has a real presence about her. This is the first time I've heard her talking. There is something about her. She is an mentally and spiritually intelligent one. May she live forever in immortality. Rock In Paradise forever Deloris you beautiful creature you.
I cannot begin to quantify what hearing her voice for the first time at 10 years old in 1993 meant to me. The moment I heard “Linger” I just sat and listened and cried. Long before the lyrics or sentiment meant anything or were something I could relate to. It was just the raw beauty and singularly unique sound she made that touched me so deep within. Have never stopped listening and here I am at 41, with Dolores no longer in the same physical realm as us anymore, wishing she could have just made it through that last hard day and continued to take it a day at a time. With nostalgia for their era at an all-time high she would absolutely be thriving and touring and feeling the love. Nobody will *EVER* be able to sing with the same spiritual depth of almost volcanic intensity that she was blessed with ever again. Besides Bjork, who on earth has such an other-worldly awesomeness about them? You are truly missed Dolores. Hope you are filling the heavens with your gorgeous vocals as I need to hear this voice again on the “other” side. ❤️
she was very down to earth , simple and lived a beautiful , no show off life NOT like these crap we have now .. all show offs .. She was an angel and i love her . rest in peace my love .
I had the privilege to see the cranberries in pensacola, it was one of the best experiences of my life. They were absolutely wonderful live. I started rocking the pixie cut because of Delores. I still do to this day, and still love hearing her voice. she was such an inspiration in so many ways.
Dolores, you are truly missed, I loved this interview. She had a beautiful speaking voice, just as soothing as her singing voice. A woman of integrity so charming and carasmatic.
God rest your soul,I only hope you have found the peace u were looking for. You are terrible missed by your true admirers, Delores, u are the best!love u sweet lady!
Умная и мудрая певица!!! Талант во многом, чуткая и искренния... Которой многие завидовали, и до сих пор завидуют!!! Ее таланту!!! Жаль, что рано ушла, могла еще много сделать в этом мире...
Her kids sound like a hoot. God bless them and hold them. We'll miss Delores forever, but she's in a choir of Angeles. We always say if a kid or a dog gets scared during a thunderstorm, it's just the Angeles bowling. Now we should change it to "They're just rehearsing Zombie. "
I really miss you D. 😥😥😭 You are always in my mind, D. Wherever you are I believe you hear me so I just wanna say I miss you, your voice, your personality, your loyalty, your coolness 😥😥
❤ I've viewed this interview a few times and though Dolores comes across as a self confident person there are hints of someone very alone and trying to come across as someone in control. Even the way she's seated on this large couch makes her even smaller than she actually was. Her demeanor and the way she uses her hand gestures and looking away from the interviewer to me shows a heightened state of anxiety due to inner turmoil especially when talking about her children. Dolores was a complex individual who was very talented with an amazing voice and a brilliant song writer. But she was also a mother and was separated from her husband which seemed to be adding more stress. It's easy to look back now, I know, but it was evident in this interview just how complex a person she was. She wanted to have the Rock and Roll lifestyle but it wasn't going to work for her and that's where she started to spiral leading to the decline in her mental health and subsequent death brought on by alcohol and medication.
Before starting the video , I already know I’m going to listen to a powerful willed woman who sent a very strong message with Zombies and a fantastic singer.

What a humble spirit she was. She should have been here for 30 more years. She is missed.
in spirit she will be and for much longer

Amen. I have an Irish wife. Blessed.
Such a beautiful tortured soul. I'm so sorry for her pain, and wish she was still here making beautiful music.
Indeed she was and indeed she is.
Dolores lived her life to the FULLEST, so don't be too sad..! She just packed in what most of us take far too long to do....!!!! RIP babe.!

Her biggest influence in music and style is SINEAD O’CONNOR. Irish singers and music are the best.👍
Such an amazing singer and human she was!
