- One year after No Man's Sky's release, its third update made it whole gameplay-wise! Atlas Rises is when I consider NMS to have become a game worth its price! And the updates after made it one of the most value for you dollar you could find in video games!

It was almost by accident 😆 I was going to upload yesterday but had to fix an editing mistake today and here we are!
Many may disagree with me, but the idea of these portals being dormant only to suddenly activate after a update is mysterious and exciting to me in a story or role play sense.
It actually fits narratively and the fact that they were there was a silent promise that they would work one day.

Happy anniversary!! Atlas rises was rough for me, lost 600 hours and my day 1 save from a progression bug. But I had a solid restart and am still on that new save today! 3k hours later and i still cant stop.

Man, I miss the Multiplayer Orbs.
I wish there was an Option to switch from the current MP Character Models to the OG MP Orbs.

Oh inflation has indeed gone into NMS lol. I remember in 1.0 the most expensive ships were less than 2 million credits. When classes arrived the most expensive ships became 126 million credits. Inflation aside, I had forgotten that Atlas Rises brought a lot of the features we use today and that today is the 6th anniversary of the game! Anniversary update coming soon?

Seems like it to me… but they have surprised us before!
@@nolopada Desolation dropped in July 2020 before Origins in September. So I definitely don't think another big update is out of the question this year. Might see something after Polestar ends (September 21 - for reference Origins released Sept 23).
