My friend played No Man's Sky for awhile and favored the Gek. I started playing recently and favor the Korvak. you can land on water with the right technology btw anyway you don't have to repair anything, just claim, get back to your ship, fly to frighter or anomaly and teleport to a station, summon it there, boom, scrapity scrap, no mats needed. much faster.

So the minotaur has been fixed in the sense that you cant use it when it does show up, or the summon option does nothing. The nomad works fine for me though

Also another tip, if you have a pirate freighter you can use it to destroy NPC freighters or sentinel frieghters
