I'm as huge a NMS fan as the rest of you. I must admit, I'm skeptical. I feel that the procedural generation is currently NMS's weakest link and needs the most improvement. Planets in NMS feel largely the same after visiting a few systems. Seeing that this game will also be procedural worries me. I hope the proc gen in their new game keeps things fresh without feeling sparse or aimless.
Im not trying to hype this game. Im actually not even interested, but I think it will do well. Imagine all the planet variety of No Man's Sky but focused on a single planet. Could be really cool. But, its true, the procgen tech is a little wonky.
@@JupiterxBlues you right, the real problem of NMS is that due to scope, the procgen was spread too thin, here it would be focused, and would generate variaty never seen before, i saw folks say this has a Skyrim vibe and indeed it has, maybe Skyrim stripped from most of it's narrative, but a massive fantasy world never seem before.. I think most folks don't realize how great this game could ended up been, here i saw HG applied everything they learned in NMS in a single world, for anyone who has been playing NMS recently, knows that what HG manage to build is quite impressive indeed. and lets get real, aside from the massive procgen enviroments, everything we saw, HG could have simply implemented in NMS.
A third game that combines fantasy to sci-fi progression and the planet details in light no fire with the scale of the universe in no mans sky. That would be a hell of a combo.
if you buy the game I hope they make a system where LNF and NMS would be accessible in one game launcher like jumping to another planet or universe but still having the freedom to switch between reality or worlds
What you mean? Aside from the varied biomes here, most of the things we see here are things that HG could have implemented in NMS, of course they won't implement the other stuff maybe only the biome variation.
I just hope this launch is better than nms’s launch considering that we got an AMAZING trailer for nms and yet it was a blatant lie, yes nms is fun today but I still vividly remember the backlash from the first year.
@@tabalugadragon3555 and what lol? Look at objects size. Compare to NMS they look more realistic now. NMS planets landscape feels like a half scale from objects we see in real life. In new game it looks much better
@@NovoAgain24 I didn't say it doesn't look better or more detailed. I just said the mounting animation\camera movement looks the same and maybe they should change a few things so it wouldn't feel like "NMS but in a fantasy world and on just one planet". IMO it should feel more unique than that.
Looks like it's time for Brolo Republic to expand

I think lack of content\things to do is a far bigger problem in NMS than procedural generation.
Dude I’m hyped it’s gonna be awesome

Looks amazing. I can't wait to play
Dude, how hype is this one? Unreal
This looks great looks like a cross between Skyrim and panzer dragoon
PizzFizz must conquer new lands
just another planet, in another universe created by the atlas
You can tell it's made by Hello Games. So much handprint in their style of designing
W vid nolo keep up the great work

It's funny bc the water is still hideoous.
Looks like a reskin of NMS
Not even close
It does look like a 95% reskinned No Mans Sky. Its a small dev team, so I expected as much.
@@Coinz8 the mounting animation is almost the same as entering your starship in NMS lol
