I hope you guys know you really inspire me to want to start a side business, basically doing the same thing you guys do.... buy and re-sell for profit all while having fun at the same time! And while working my real 9-5 job.. . Maybe start doing videos for showing off product.. ya know. Yea, this is one of my favorite channels, and after graduating school I've always thought about doing resell, but never got the motivation until I came across yalls videos. hey bro, you really should let the bike idle for about two minutes before you rev it, it takes a while for the oil pressure to build up and into the heads to lubricate the cams. when you start it and rev it, the cams/valves just grind on metal to metal and its not good for it.

I sold my 748 earlier this year, and I completely regret it. It was so fun, revvy and even had a few touring adventures on it. I sold it ('98) for $2500 and felt like I should have held off for another grand. It only had an issue with the fuel pump o-ring. Hope you still have the duck...
dont rev the bike to warm it up. The oil just needs to get hot to not fuck up your shit.
Reving it a bit is better than just letting it idle. Warming up by driving is the best.
for a 2stroke yes. But in a 4stroke engine the oil has to get to the cylinder and head so giving it gas will put more stress on rings and piston wearing them out prematurely

damn that's a steal! but don't rev your bike like that on cold start. these bikes have an issue of flaking valve rockers and it's too expensive to replace. there's a button on the throttle grips to let the idle rev a little bit higher for warming the engine up.

awesome fun bike..i had a 99 yellow 748..upgraded to a 996 with race parts. love them both..getting harder to get a good one well maintained ..enjoy and ride safe !

try getting an aftermarket seat for comfort. Most prefer a seargent or corbin seat for ducatis. Also, heat wraps for the exhaust to help with heat.

Hi there, I like your videos but wanted to ask, why do you shift into first when you're going that fast? I mean, I use first gear just to get moving from stand still or to accelerate hard. Every time you shift into first, I hear that CLANG sound, it hurts man, it hurts so much.

Thanks! And usually I accidentally shift into first when I'm going that fast. When I turn a corner I like to shift into first or second because the bike likes to buck me off if I stay in third.

My dad has a zx9r and it has around 200hp goes 130kmh in first :) 2.5+-sec to 100 kmh 17sec to 300kmh:)
Milan zx9r has about 145 hp, i have one myself😂

I really thought you were going to red line all 6 gears but I was wrong.
He short shifts just about every bike before the power band. Frustrating to watch. Yes of course you can get up to 80 or 90 but those bikes sound best and make peak power at higher RPM.

it picks up after 7500 keep it there till 11000 rpm and then change, then you can say wow!! also ducatis love powering out of corners because of there torque thats why there so good on the track happy days enjoy you're riding how ever you ride x
Peter Mcintosh true...he’s changing gear way to early so is bearly even gettin into powerband. Only using around 50-60% of the Ducati’s power.
1000 subs special should be you buying a kdx200 or kdx220

+2vintage there are some great deals on Craigslist. but you want to turn around and sell it. I think you need to keep a kdx. it's honestly a great bike.

They have a unique sound that is strictly a Ducati sound. They probably made them sound this way so they would stick out in a crowd.
