Great video Brad. I am also working on Ducatis professionally (in NZ) and would love to see more customers willing to invest the means necessary to get those older bikes going again. The reality is often that they are too run down and get sold again for someone else to get a big shock about the items needing doing. Pains my heart. Some other items usually found on these barn finds are worn clutches and valve rocker arms were the chroming has come off. Also fogged up headlight lenses, leaky crank case breathers and frame paint damaged by acid from the battery. Seen a few ones where the anodized finish of forks has come off as well. I never comment on social media but I really appreciate your YT and website content.

Electrolysis works Brilliantly, I did this process on my 748, 7 years ago and never returned after lining the inside with RED COAT Liquid lining, absolutely brilliant. Steve .... Australia

Enjoyed the video Brad. You do a very good job explaining and at a slow enough pace I can keep up, and your teachings are loaded with detail. RIDE SAFE OUT THERE!

Very very helpful. I am looking at a 2000 996 this week which has been in storage since 2016 so this will be invaluable.

it's done and gone. i just fixed all the stuff that was wrong with it, and filming all that is not something i can allocate time to. well - you'll see it in a charging system video i have to edit.

Loved the video Brad. The internal tank rubber looked pretty good compared to the molten licorice /treacle / molasses goo that comes out of bmw tanks when they've been sitting for 7+ years.

i think the fact the fuel had escaped via the rust holes at the bottom would have let the hoses solidify again to some extent. there was no fuel left in it.

People worry about keeping the mileage down 🙄 I’d much rather buy a bike with higher mileage that’s been regularly used and well maintained🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

at what time point in the video are you seeing this? this bike has a lot of stains from fuel leaking from the tank.
