Good video and sweet car! Just came across this product and there don't seem to be too many youtube videos on the custom car install version. Thanks for being a test pig!
Wow, another cool accessory youve added that I am also considering! 😁 I just bought the replacement remotes for this iKey system ahead of the full system to test out a custom Keyfob idea. Rather than carry the iKey fob as welk as another small 1 button fob for something else, I am going to 3d print a custom keyfob shell that integrates both. But this iKey system kooks to have all the features I wanted out of a system i thought i would otherwise have to piece together and hope would work. Cheers !
The ikey can operate two auxillary inputs in addition to its regular functions. It can also be programmed for other vehicles with keyless ignition. I am trying to figure that out now. I do not see instructions on how to do this. I am trying to program this fob to work with my 2019 Forester. That would be pretty cool.
It has been so long ago i do not remember. i do remember that it was a bit difficult and i had to call them a few times to get all the settings correct. i could not get the remote start working either. they are friendly and usually easy to get ahold of.
Scott - im wondering if you could possibly help test something for me with this iKey system? Im curious to know if you can leave the vehicle running, exit the proximity zone with fob in hand, and then either let it passively lock (or manually lock) the system without the engine shutting off? Think, running into a store or your house for a quick pit stop while leaving the enginw run, but still able to lock the doors. Thanks a ton if you can help me figure this out, would help me alot!! Cheers!
Here is how it works. Once the vehicle has started, the alarm system is disabled. You can leave the proximity zone with fob and the car remains running. The perimeter zone is disabled, but you can manually lock the doors. The alarm will remain diabled in this condition, but the doors are locked and the engine is running.

I bought the Guard Dawg for my 69 camaro and am struggling on making it work. What color wires did you put together?

ikey premier
Do have any videos of wiring it up
No, sorry too difficult for me to wire the dash and run a video camera at the same time. any questions about the wiring that concerns you?
Hi Scott I couldn’t get the lock wiring to work with the lock actuators. I followed the instructions and the wiring diagram and no luck.
