ONE... OH... NINE!!! That's how long it took for use to finally get our brand new 2020 Jeep JT Gladiator Rubicon - a ridiculous 109 DAYS! And the craziest part about the whole thing is - this isn't even the Gladiator we ordered! But, I digress. The important thing is, we now have the unicorn in our possession - the mythical Jeep truck that we thought would never be made and waited almost 30 years to finally get. Today, it stands as the newest member of the WAYALIFE family and we're super excited to have it! In this short video, you'll get to see it up close and personal and you'll even get to hear a few of our first impressions of it. We hope you enjoy.
A BIG THANKS needs to go to Kent over at Peterson Ram Jeep in Nampa, Idaho for helping us to get this amazing Jeep Gladiator. It's a drive for sure but buying through them was super easy and totally worth it.

Very nice! I’m glad you went with the color matching top. Looks more like a truck that way. My JL Rubicon 4 dr 2.0 turbo is getting 23 mpg. The torque is also fantastic.
Johnny 5 mine is getting around 21ish with 35s so cannot complain. And that 2.0 is amazing
Welcome to the Gladiator Family! Can't wait to see what you guys do to it. Steering is an issue on mine as well, even after a Fox ATS 2.0, and lower pressure. I got screwed by the launch edition fiasco too, but got out of it for a normal Rubicon.

Hello Eddie. I watched this a year ago when you posted it, thought I'd watch it again and then follow along as you modify it. I got my Wrangler Rubicon through Peterson's - Kent specifically. I custom ordered mine and picked it up February 1st, 2019. In June I placed an order for a Gladiator and will be picking it up on September 4, 2020. Kent saved me over $3,000 over local dealer prices on my Wrangler, and I think my Gladiator even came over $4,000 less. After getting my Wrangler through him, there was no other option for my Gladiator.

@@wayalife yes sir, I have been on the fence of wanting one. But for the price and size and lacking of power and room. I would definitely just buy a Ford Raptor again. I know the JT is a midsize truck but the $$$ I would put out would be the same as a Raptor. Thanks Eddie.

As soon as you said you were headed to Peterson in Idaho I was like, “No way! I was just there two weeks ago picking up my new JLUR!” Drove out there from Portland, Oregon. Yes they have some good deals out there!
BTW, thanks for your video on setting the proper toe-in on the Wrangler. Driving the new Jeep back home I noticed it seemed a little squirrelly on the high-way. I measured the toe and found it to be about 3.5/16” in when in your video you said it should be about 1/16”. I made the adjustment to get it to 1/16” and it feels A LOT better up at highway speed. Thanks you very much for the info!

I bought a base level Gladiator Sport in February. Travelled to Louisville KY from Columbus OH to get it. My dealers in Columbus wanted a bare bones Jeep Gladiator for $35K. And they mostly had automatic transmissions. Having sold a Challenger R/T with a manual to make room in the budget. I felt I wanted to stay with a manual transmission on my new purchase. Boy am I glad I did. The automatics I test drove seemed lacking in power and sure enough you don't have that feeling with a manual. Although you might spill your coffee on your way back from Starbucks lol. Also, I noticed my MPGs on my trip back to Cbus from Lville averaged 19.4 MPGs. A lot better than the 15 you mentioned. Yes it is stiff; but, I have never owned a Jeep before so I kind of expected that might be my feeling. I have manual everything, windows (roll up), mirrors done by hand; but, I did get the back up camera. Which was not expected by me. All in all I paid $32K for it and $35K with tax and title out the door. I love it. I just put in an iBoard running board which cost $200. My next item is a personalized seat cover (as I am a retired CW3 from the US Army). My Gladiator is Gator Green (who-rah). Then I will get a spray in bedliner in a month or so. Highly recommend the base level model (has all the basic things all Jeeps have for $20K less). Unless you just have to have those heated seats lol. Which after market are like $35 dollars lol

With the JT not really having anything that pops, I would check the vin # for letters to come up with a Name fitting the trucks image. Bear in mind it's soft image now will most likely be a long forgotten memory in a short time. You better set some of those older short ones on rollers and turn them sideways to regain shop space. LOL Love the truck hope it takes you places that will fill any bucket list you two have been dreaming of.

It is definitely in a class of its own and competing in the mid-size truck market with its unique characteristics and benefits that only a Jeep Wrangler can deliver. Like you, I ordered my Launch Edition the very first day I could. In fact, I managed to get two ordered. They got finished, they headed out of Toledo ... and, apparently, they were on "The Train" in Nevada that derailed. Every day they update the system, the system says they're going to get to Mira Loma at 5:21am.
Glad you got yours. All I've got - so far - is the ability to watch your videos.
I'll look tomorrow to see if my Gladiator is going to arrive then. I imagine it'll be there at 5:21am...

Oh yeah, sure. I can tell you now that this is pretty much a fully loaded Rubicon minus a soft top and we got it for $52k.
