Not really a problem I have ever put any thought into. If you were pressing 3 of the 4 directions then you are pressing opposite directions... Additionally, keyboards (Or PCs) don't recognize very many inputs at 1 time. I believe it to be 2 or 3 generally, so even coding it correctly wouldnt help if it was a functionality issue in your hardware.
An entire world done in this fashion would look fantastic. I have some ideas about using 8 fixed camera angles in blender and creating all my characters on that stage in 3-d. That way I can just play each animation from each camera position and make a bunch of short 2-d animations. I am attempting to make a 2-d sprite billboards of 3-d objects to see if it will work in 3-d First Person well enough to be done like this.
Ya, it has that really nice 2.5 dimension feel to it. I need to get better at the art side of developing especially with 3-d models. But for now Ill just have to live vicariously through others. Share your project once you get it going I would love to see what you make.
@@Winstreak1 - It seems like Intrude and Extrude action in blender is where it is at for 3-d modeling newbies like us, looks like you can make most objects from just those two actions according to what I have learned so far. I will definitely be sharing some of these 3-d projects soon, making good progress with First Person 3-d.
I've encountered a problem while configuring enemies in Construct 2 with the Pathfinder behavior. When the enemy moves towards the player, it rotates to the point of flipping upside down. I've tried various approaches, but I can't seem to resolve this issue. I was wondering if you might have any insights or guidance on how to correct this problem. Your expertise would be greatly appreciated in helping me find a solution. Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.@@Winstreak1
You're a life-saver, this is the first real guide I've found that shows how to make animations for diagonal movement
Always happy to help! 🥳
Thaaaaaanks amigooo
You are welcome!
With 8 directions, if you click 3 arrows (for example) player is broke with this code. How it's possible?

I made a basic human in blender yesterday. Lots of extrude size move and adding extra edges were used. I didn’t look too terrible 🤓
Thank you so mutch!!!! +1Sub
Happy to have you aboard, best of luck making games!!

How would I set it up to work with WASD? I tried simulating all the buttons...it breaks the animation.
Haven’t touched this code in ages, but I would imagine this should work fine. Let me see some screen shots: discord.gg/NTQxEGH7Na
