    wow, finely someone not pushing these amps on 10 with Humbucker on 10. You truly understand how clapton, kossof or hendrix play's these monsters at the time. Great job

    What a beast! Definitely has that old kossoff tone! Reminds me of the Granada TV sessions!

      Larry Johnson - Yeah wish I had used a '60 Burst then it would have been even closer! Have sold this set up now, but do have a tall 4x12 Basket Weave, just need another black flag. Do have a '70 metal panel PA head which isn't far away in terms of tone.

    T1511 speaker code means a G12M 55Hz, therefore 20 or 25 watts depending on the year.

    • @nellawell4976
      @nellawell4976 3 года назад +1

      Right, those are not 25 watt Greenbacks.

    • @ziccuj
      @ziccuj 10 месяцев назад

      They are indeed 20 or 25 watts depending on the year, as stated above, but not 30 watts like the later T1281's. The change happened late '67. If the columns are '69, most likely the speakers are 25-watters.@@nellawell4976

    split those cabs left and right the amount of space that amp would fill would be killer .

      Atleast corner to corner spacing on the head would be better

    You should turn in a clip to the Eleven project by Scott Fields; we're trying to help him get to 1,111 guitarists who submit an 11-second clip of them playing at "11" in honor of Nigel Tufnel: @t

    Can I ask:
    What's the point of having such a RARE and VALUABLE Amp sounding like the tone of a $100 Joyo amp???
    I've owned a few Marshalls in my time, and I don't ever remember any of them producing a tone like that...
    I'm honestly AMAZED!!!
