Hi all, welcome back to another video if you're a regular, and welcome to any new faces 🙂.
I have lots of regular customers. They normally have me back between every 1-3 years, this customer was different, she got me back over 10 years later, 11 years to be precise, to clean her driveway, patio and side path.
I'm a little apprehensive to admit, that the last time I was here, I was very inexperienced, and didn't clean the paving to it's full potential.
I'm happy to say that 11 years later, i've learnt a lot, and I can now clean the paving to the standard it should have been cleaned all those years ago 😀.
My customer was actually quite happy with the last clean, hence why she got me back. But this time she was pleasantly shocked, and delighted at the standard that was achieved this time around.

I was thinking exactly the same myself.
I wanted to thank you for preserving so many of your customers privacy. I have no idea what her home looks like, what street, what town. I get concerned sometimes by some you tubers who blithely share so much of older customers to a international public audience. I am concerned about privacy and safety. You dont know who is watching or what might happen with enough info given out in a video. Everything looks brand new again. Such a satisfying job.

Great job. It always strikes me that your customers will want you to come back because you’re a nice guy Nick and always give 100%. 11 years ago the clean may not have been 100% as you were new to the old black spot - but you were 100% which is what matters. 👍

I can't believe how level the blocks have remained. I regularly clean my patio blocks but don't achieve anything like the results that you have. Brilliant work and thanks for posting.

It's a small thing, but I'm always impressed with the resilience of the small plants and grasses at the edge of the cleaning area. They take the pressure of the water and bounce right back. Another great job on this--11 years is a long time in between cleanings!

Just finished watching! You know how it is - first the postman came with a package and somehow I got a bumblebee into the screened back porch who refused to listen to reason and go back the same way he came in. Then, I no sooner got the video started again than the dog decided he needed to go outside immediately. I think he was just nosy about the bee... Got back in, sat down and hit play and couldn't concentrate for thinking about the bee, so went back out and managed to wrangle him into a small container without injury to either of us, and he's safely in the yard exaggerating tales of his brave adventures to his friends. Or at least I hope so!
Anyway, I've finished and what a job! You've made it look as it those pavers were just laid down last week! Spectacular job! Your customer is such a sweetheart! I love how excited she seemed about the whole clean and she got her pots all back where she wanted them. 👍🏻

I’m amazed at how well that brick has held up. After at least 15 years the bricks are almost as tight, straight and flat as when installed. Those brick layers did a great job.
Top notch Sir ! Reaching out to the elderly by removing pots and furniture is a bonus! We all had older relatives in need.

Another great result for many years I have just jetted my patio off but as it has become very aged now I know this year it will require the Hypo soft wash as it has serious staining on it now, to be honest I never considered the soft was aspect until I have seen both you and Ben doing the treatment as part of the clean you do it truly finishes it off to a good finish and as you stated slows new growth etc.
This is fascinating to watch. I’m in another country and we don’t have anything like this. Beautiful brickwork!

It is really lovely and thank you to the owner for letting us see her lovely garden. I have even more than this size of area so it took me 8 1 - 3 hour sessions to mine this year so far but I still have black spot so found this video useful for that. Today I used 2 tubs of cleaner neat and it gor rid of some - about 1/1000th only so I am going to need a much better quantity and to get the pressure hose machine on its cleaning setting to do it properly in such huge quantity.

Nice you are able to come back, at a later date, and with more knowledge. Interesting that an elder had the recognition that it was good to be helpful in moving things as potted plants and furniture, if they can. A nice yard. Fun to see how much of the grime and lichen is being removed with your new level of equipment. Admiring you were getting under the plants, knowing if they ever died back or were removed, it wouldn't look well, and here you are with followers who enjoy the "dance" it takes to pull that off that clean look. The result looks wonderful and I'd agree with your customer, it was a Drastic Transformation. "Like New" is a neat result.

I always wondered what to use to get rid of the black spots and thought it would have to be something pretty caustic. Even after watching I still don't know what you used lol but at least I know there is something out there that does it and the technique of pre / post rinsing plants!. Cheers

What a nice job :D From all the videos I saw it seems to me that these red blocks work especially well with the hypo. Especially here, hardly anything left, brightened up nicely and hardly any visible weathering left even though they seem to have some age. Cool :D
