it’s crazy how jacob can just tell the stories right off the top of his head😂
We don't have anything like that, thank you for showing it. Thank you so much! 🐻 & 🦝 & 🧔 &👍
I woulda loved me a Grizzly Adams, my idea of a mountain man, (remember him? lol) Cool museum, def..(I learn a lot from you..thanks)
I had my own and he was wonderful his whole life.
My brother had a really scraggly beard and my dad would call him Grizzly Adams.
Jedidiah Smith is also the little cowboy guy in Night At The Museum, playing opposite to a certain little Roman general who is supposed to be Augustus Octavius, the first official Roman Empire.
Okay, so I'm getting history from night at the museum 😊😄. I heard the name in the video but could not remember how Jedediah Smith was intertwined. I know there was a Jedediah or Jebediah in the Simpson's. But thank you my OCD would have been upset for awhile. 😁
Is it weird your videos going to places makes me feel so happy like I’m on vacation?
If you visit there again please go down the entire row of old lever actions and muzzle loaders/ muskets, I like to see what all is there for guns. Looks like they had some 1860 Henry's & maybe some 1866 -1870s Winchesters.
Great Video and Awesome Story!
Wow! Cool museum! I love it. The Hugh Glass story was interesting. Thanks for sharing!
Beaver-based economy here we come!!
Our area used to pay for crows and lots of animals but they could only be in parts of the year to make sure they were 'our' crows, raccoons etc
Awesome stories! No one does what you do Jacob!
I used to live in Pinedale, but I never made it in to the museum! It's pretty cool to see someone visit that tiny town.
What an interesting look at one portion of the settling of America. The trappers and Mountain men opened up a lot of territory. Interesting museum. Great look at early America. We have come a long way in a short time. Keep Safe❤Keep Well❤
Thank you so much for making this video of a place I may never get to visit.
This is a very cool museum, enjoyed your story telling of Hugh Glass, what a guy huh? Thanks Jacob
Yes, Grizzly Adams, good TV and movie. Very informative museum. Hope there are a few more you'll be hitting in WY.
Have you ever seen the movie " Man in the Wilderness " ,starring Richard Harris? I think it came out in 1974 and is also based on Hugh Glass. Harris's character is named Zac Bass. There's a monument dedicated to Hugh Glass. I think it's in South Dakota.
I have no idea why anyone would thumbs down Jacob. Those people suck the joy out of life
Fascinating museum. Interesting story of the toughest mountain man. Thank you for sharing.
Great stop
Thanks for making this museum tour so enjoyable Jacob!
Nice job on the videos, keep em coming
Always look forward to see what's in store for today, thank you
Wow 😯 these people are the true definition of bravest mountain men
Interesting story about Hughes. Thanks for sharing

Love all these places you are going to 🇬🇧🇺🇸😷👍
Love it when you tell the tall tales, Hue Glass was a good one!
And I love all of your videos
Jacob I loved your story about Hugh. Awesome vid! Thank you for sharing. Safe travels.

Wonderful story telling !! A wonderful museum!! Great video Carpetbagger. Thankyou 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Enjoy your videos man there always fun
Nice museum
Quite a collection of Guns...If you liked that collection...You should see The Gun Collection in The Buffalo Bill Museum In Cody Wyoming...
True fact there are more GUNS IN WYOMING THAN PEOPLE
So glad you finally made it to Wyoming! Home sweet home. Like all the videos :)
you should go to the haunted circus in utah
They really need a statue of Dan Haggerty or Denver Pyle. They're what a lot of people remember as mountain men.
Ovens Rocky Mountain bush craft is the best mountain man
Brontotheres were prehistoric mammals related to rhinos and horses: paleosleuths.org/brontotheres.html
An atlatls actually make throwing spears easier... Once you've mastered it, you can get a lot more distance, speed, and power behind your dart than if you had thrown it by hand.
Other than that, neat museum!
Interesting 👍
🎶 Oh, give me a home with a Buffalo 🐃 robe... 🎶
Leave it to Beaver!
I love this vlog
Hue glass= Chuck Norris of the mountains
I love this
Heck yeah!
Hey Jacob you should go to the Smithsonian zoo in Washington D.C.
Yay new video
I think Thailand still has a beaver based economy...
Go to Cheyenne Wyoming
NEW VID YAY
CHAOS REIGNS LOL
Thanks for sharing. Is there a book that tells the real story. I would love to read it
Weird there was no davy crockett
The museum must only cover the LAST years of the Mountain Man era. There apparently are no FLINTLOCKS, which was the PRIMARY arm of the mountain men( the caplock wasn't generally available until the 1840's), in the collection, and the lever action repeating rifle didn't appear until at least TWENTY YEARS after it was over!
It's probably just a quibble, but the bear depicted in the Hugh Glass diorama was a little too SMALL! A REAL grizzly would have towered over Glass, at least a head taller.
BTW, many of the mountain men did NOT have beards. The Indians that traded with them would call bearded white men "dogfaces"(Indians did NOT have facial hair).
The Revenent was an incredibly violent movie, the Hugh character was constantly & consistently injured throughout the movie. It was so 😳graphic, I had to go home & have a 😴 afterwards!!😑
And they have a outdoor part as well around the building
Merci pour cette visite virtuelle, j'y étais avec ma femme en Septembre 2019 et si je peux j'y retournerai.....Mon mentor est Jeremiah Johnson....
When you showed the beaver house I was amazed that if you look at the opening its a arch. That blows my mind that animals can fashion an arch throughway.WOW
You know humans are animals, right? Animals form arches all the time.
Gotta start growing that beard Jacob!
Making your way to Cali for the opening of Disneyland and meet up with the woo?
Mic check! Hello Hello.
You need to drive through bear lake idaho!
Hey Jacob do you prefer the smoky mountains or the Rocky Mountains? Me personally I like both they are both very different in their own ways
My dad’s Rifle and pistol “collection” as I call it would make that museum pale in comparison 😂
I believe you are in PineDALE Wyoming not PineVAIL.
The Carpetbagger can you do videos of going to Alabama Splash Adventure in Bessemer, Alabama and Sea World in San Diego California when this entire pandemic is all over, we don't need social distancing anymore and quarantine has ended and no longer there.
9:23 both the words "beaver" and "muff" ....epic
Wow I'm early!
It Pinedale wy
I don't know why or what it even means for some strange reason I have been referring that you like your name is Gilbert like this guy🙋♂️
50 sec ago and already 6 views
The movie gets almost the whole story wrong
