Their background music makes everything even creepier...
I really want to know who the artist is. It's so much better than those "halloween music" CDs you find.
Most of it is just ambient noise music, which is why it sounds so chilling.
Sorry to be offtopic but does anyone know of a method to get back into an instagram account??
I somehow lost my account password. I appreciate any help you can offer me!

@Keaton Jeremy instablaster ;)
A better line for this museum would be: "This one is in the Body Bag."
Ugh, a museum after my own heart. I love the macabre. 💀💀💀
That background soundtrack is actually pretty soothing to me 😴
I've worked in the funeral industry for many years and found this museum very interesting. Thank you for sharing with us.
Nope, couldn't do it. The things people do to bodies in order to put them on display make my stomach turn. Plus I have major necrophobia.
I half expected Ask a Mortician to pop out from the shadows.
Lol! Me too!
The gas mask wasn’t for a dog, it’s a Vietnam era mask commonly called the grasshopper mask. They were used by the tunnel rats during the war
Yeah that's a nice example of an XM28 riot control mask
Pretty cool museum! Looks like I need to pay this place a visit!
This place is awesome, if you go there once, they’ll let ya in for free if you come again 👌👌
That place had a lot of "skeletons in their closet" which also seems to have had a lot of "head room! "
I had no idea something like this was so close to me! That’s a 30 min drive from where I live! Thanks for showing!
Right!? It popped up as a suggestion on my FB page last week.
That is cool you live close to this
Wow! You are so lucky to be near. I live in Virginia and I am trying to figure out how to get there.
Lucky
Hey now you can go down there yourself sometime
Creepy place, but at least you don't have to worry about night witches.
Good thing too, most roadside attractions are crawling with night witches
Now that’s a place I would love to ghost hunt! Awesome video man.
I absolutely love video’s like this. Sean Michaels Dearly Departed museum, in my opinion, is the absolute best by far
This is my kind of place. Absolutely fascinating. “The museum is through the body bags.”
That's quite an interesting museum. I've never even heard of the oddfellows. Time for a 3hr research deep dive. Id love to visit that place one day and learn even more
I love it when you post this stuff - it's so important to cut through the taboo of death. The shoes are interesting, I didn't know they did them, I was just taught that all clothes, shoes that the families/will chose just are cut down the back to make them fit.
I just found out about this place not that long ago. Glad I live nearby.
@ 8 : 40 it is a representation of the place of the Skull, the mound of earth that Christ was crucified upon, thus the case shows a cross and a Skull above with moss upon it to represent grass. God bless you carpet bagger, just love oddity stores.
I was born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan and still have family in that area, but I NEVER heard about this museum!!! I had to look up where it's located. Most of my family members are buried in the Clinton Grove Cemetery just up the road from the museum.
" Hey you all...... Will die someday "
But fr, I hate the fact we all have to die.. Such a crappy thing to think about 😔
David Dawson you won’t have to fear death my friend if you put your trust in Jesus Christ (john3:16) “for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believe in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life”, my friend Jesus paid the penalty of your sin,my sin, the sin of all the world! He overcame death on that cross of Calvary! Please you don’t have to be scared of death. God loves you and sent His son to die in your place on the cross so you could come to heaven and live with God forever! Just ask the Lord into your heart today! Romans 5: 8 “But God clearly shows and proves His own love for us, by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 10:9-10 “if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Basically we all sin and broke Gods moral law, and we are all desperately in need of a savior. Jesus paid our sin debt on the cross and when He cried out “It is finished”- ref John 19:30, the Lord conquered death and sin on that cross! I don’t want you to be afraid of dying! We are all going to die, because we broke the union we had with God in the garden of Eden with our sin, and the first Adam brought death, the second Adam (Jesus) brought life and peace and died on the cross as the sin offering for us so we could all come to God! Hope this helps you, if you don’t have a Bible you can always find one on the internet and I know you probably know some Christian people around you or in your family! Reach out to them, they will pray and talk with you! Ask Christ into your life and don’t delay!
The dog gas mask is the best thing made on this planet!!! THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS ADVENTURE AND ALL OF YOUR OTHER ONES. You must meet some great people along your travels.
Don't miss going to "dinosaur gardens" walk through while you're still in MI. I didn't know about this place being 40 minutes away lol.
This one's in the... BODY... bag!!! XD
For some reason this place seemed creepier than the many creepy places you have been. Very cool, don't get me wrong... I'm just trying to pinpoint what's causing the goosebumps: the music, the lighting, the signs, or the displays themselves.
Very effective. I have another place to add to my (kicked the) bucket list!!
I love this place I have always loved anatomy... thanks for sharing this one...
Baggerisms of the day:
"Interesting how different cultures use dead body parts"
"Evaluation Center for disturbed women... Hmm.*

Yeah...back in the day it was way cheaper for alot of men who wanted a divorce to just have them placed in a Looney BIN. They did that to normal children also who after a short time filled with crazy drugs and sexually assaulted DID become insane.
That's cool.
SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!
That place was wild Jacob...thanks for the video
Man I watched 3 of your vids and you sold me on everything...you just gained a new subscriber!! I'm all about certain museums! Can you do a vid with an in-depth serial killer museum featuring Richard Ramirez? Thanx and keep up the good work!
I worked for the morgue in Tampa Bay Fl For Pinellas PCME and Hillsborough HCME office back around 2003-2004 ..Seen more Skulls than you could shake a stick at
Carpetbagger man ur the best and man just keep doing ur job Man U will make history urself
You're* your* you* You aren't 5. Use actual words.
this man is a legend he needs more subs and likes ive binged so many videos and stayed up for days watching him and the intro is so nice and cool
more specifically!!
“Even more specifically than that”
You are such a hard worker/content provider...thank you for committing, Jacob, you rock.
My family and I were just there last weekend!!! Amazing spot close to home!
I am honestly so glad I found this channel love these kind of places but couldn’t possibly travel to them all
This is Spooktacular! Love stuff like this!
Yeah, reasons why I'm being cremated.
What, don't you want your mortal remains to be perused and remarked upon by an amiable video logger or something? 😂
Yeah I'd hate if a body part I wasn't using anymore was donated to help educate and inform other people.
Me too, but cremation is just as bad. The things that happen in the retort are chilling.
Also almost everyone go's to the coroner and thats the worst..
@@FrenkTheJoy bro it's his choice, don't judge. There are plenty of people who would donate bones instead
That museum is so cool but it’s weird how a lot of it is out in the open. You can touch things and maybe even steal them. Surprised they’re not encased
Super interesting! You gotta go to the Mutter Museum in Philly --- same type of thing but on a MUCH bigger scale!
Thank you for this Jacob. I find death and death artifacts really interesting.
I'm always "dying" to watch your delightful videos. I love your sense of humor and adventure. Carry on my wayward son.
This was so interesting. I'm going to watch this again! Thank you, Jacob! ☠
i know this is a older video but when i was looking through and found it?? how sweet! I groomed dogs accross the street and lived few miles down. One day i hope to go on a few adventures with you, wow
I just visited a few days ago and the owner knew exactly who you were when I mentioned you! Super cool place.
Omg you're down the street from me! I'm so excited that you're doing videos here in Michigan! How did I not know about these places???
Keep up the good work. I really enjoy trips. Hope your family is doing well. Thanks Bob C.
2:15 I loved the technique 🥋
My kind of museum!!! I must road trip out there one day! I’d love to get an old hearse to live I while I travel....
Haven't had much time to watch any videos on youtube😭 so I'm glad I was able to have a few mins to watch this one. Husband and I are ok over here in Houston btw. Lots of flooding but we made it through and we're safe. Interesting video. I was curious what a death museum would have displayed and now I know. Lol.
The documentary is so cool again, I'm thrilled, I would have loved to have been there. So awesome! 💀🤘 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
That’s it. I want to be CREMATED when I die! 😳
All the embalming machines look the same.. Thank you Carpetbagger
Hi Jacob 🖐🏼. While you are in Michigan, can you come to Ypsilanti Michigan so I can meet you ❓ WOW ‼️ this is some really morbid stuff ‼️ how could you lay on that embalming table ❓ WOW ‼️ I can't even.😲🤨🤔🧐🙄🤭.
Interesting stuff...I'm among those with morbid curiosity!!great vid,CB..you deserve more subscribers....stay busy!!!⚰⚰⚰
Hi Jacob, very awesome and bizarre Anatomy of Death Museum! Kind of reminds me of Ripleys Believe it not museum with the bizarre oddities. Anyway, stay well and safe!
If you think this is the number one museum for skulls, then you really need to come to Philadelphia, PA to check out the Mutter Museum of Medical Oddities.
Man this Michigan trip looks like it was a blast.
Made me think. There’s way more dead people on the planet than live ones... and when you hear about how many missing people there are you’d think that we’d be practically tripping over them. Hey, I didn’t start this train of thought. Jacob did.
,once again an educational experience wit the Carpetbagger💀🖤
Thanks Jacob. This was very interesting. Have a great day!
So hard to believe we have all those skeletal bones inside of us.... interesting
This place looks so cool love the little shop to
Very Interesting. Thanks for the tour.
Jacob I am from the metro Detroit area and had an idea that this museum existed thanks.
I look forward to your videos...takes my mind off the craziness in U.S....Thanks
Love you Carpetbagger! Keep on the move!
Sometimes I watch your videos and I'm reminded of my uncle in Cali. He used to take me to museums all the time when I would visit, and I loved seeing amazing things and eating from hotdog stands after. I haven't been able to visit since 2015, some because no time, but also because my uncle had liver failure during the years I couldn't see him. Watching your videos reminds me that after the quarantine is over we still have to adjust a whole lot, but it will be worth it just to go to another museum with my family someday.
That background music was creepy and loud. That place was shall we say quite unique
I'll be happy to be your traveling companion !!!
Jacob, this is so neat!!! I want to go there so much
That looks really cool
I like your videos, It's so unique how you include a map of the places that you have been and how you can click on the places to access the video of that place. I have never seen that before. Thanks! (I just subscribed.)
Late video release. Good I ran out of stuff to watch!!! Death, so appropriate for these dreadful times. 😭
Interesting video.
Very interesting .thank you for the tour
What an interesting place, looks like fun.
Reminded me of Ed Gein
Next you should go to the death museum in Vegas!!!!
Wow Jacob was literally a ten minute walk away from my house and I had no idea haha
That sure is a different museum. The Odd Fellows do seem to be well represented and appropriately named. The practices of the different cultures was interesting. Keep Safe❤ Keep Well❤
14:00 they still use those masks because when my mother was undergoing radiation before chemo she had her own mask and that was 3-5yrs ago with different Xs in weird spots
When I was undergoing radiation just a couple of years ago, I would occasionally see people walking around, holding their custom masks in the radiation area. I was just glad I didn't need one.
@@chippendaleduo yeah she had brain tumors that were brought on by her adenocarcinoma with bone metastasis
But Jacob I thought you been to the Mutter Museum? They have a massive wall covered top to bottom side to side in human skulls on top of all the other skulls they had and tons and tons of skeletons!
Another great video!
I have driven by that place numerous times and never knew it was there.
It would interesting know how many knee and hip replacement are given to really old people who die before they even put 10 miles on them.
Why did I decide to watch this while eating 😂 anyway great video as always!
Alas, poor Yorick. You knew him well.
I recommend you go to the pecularium in Portland Oregon🖤 it is small but very very fun🖤 best wishes and stay safe!
If ever on the East coast, go to the Mutter museum in Philadelphia, PA. Won't be disappointed. Morbid and creepy.
If you're still here in MI come up to the U.P and visit Taquamanon falls and the mystery spot.
Stay safe I love ur videos ❤️❤️
Carpetbagger: this sword was used to kill people!
Me: boy, do I have big news for you.
Awesome video place is pretty cool!!
Thank u my friend
A museum to my liking.
Plan to visit tm hopefully
I would like to go there someday
Ready for the haunted house videos! I see what you did there
Such a cool museum!
Wow! This is kind of creepy but cool. I like the embalming equipment there. I also like how the different cultures practiced death. I've always been intrigued by death because some people don't understand it. I believe there is life after death because if there is no life after death, there is no hope for humanity. That's what the Bible says. Thanks for sharing!
