  • In this episode it's our final two days of sailing in The BVIs with the Odyssey Sailing Festival. We cruise by Richard Branson's Necker Island and have a party at the Bitter End Yacht Club. On our final day we go by the Baths at Virgin Gorda and my friend Chris shares some of his scuba diving footage. You may recall it was my friend Andy from the Ocean Cruisers Podcast who invited me to the first ever Odyssey Sailing Festival he organized in the British Virgin Islands. Tons of well-known sailors gathered for the weeklong event. We meet up with Captain Glenn Shephard, Sailing Parlay Revival, Cruisers Academy, Laura Dekker, Dustin Reynolds, Erik Aanderaa, Sailing Uma, Apparent Winds Sailing and We Sail for this awesome week of sailing. In this episode we have a friendly race regatta aboard the catamarans.

Ah, good to see you back, Josh. Seems like it was an epic sailing trip and one I should consider! Wow, even spotted Erik the Viking!
Btw, looks like you lost some pounds.

I'd go just for the bon fire and to get a few drinks from the rum guy. I'm in for next year to meet the characters of some new stories.

Josh. I just subscribed to your channel after I saw your great really well done video of 2022 Kentucky Derby and how you videoed inside of Churchill downs. Wondering if you made it to 2024 Derby and have video of it?

Hey! Thanks! I wasn’t able to go in 2024. It’s pretty extreme for ticket pricing now that the new additions to Churchill are complete. Maybe one day. It was great fun, but kind of like the Super Bowl it’s very expensive.

Josh, Any interest in selling your Cheoy Lee 1965?

Hi Roger. I sold the Cheoy Lee last year. I wanted to downsize to something with less maintenance required. I now have a Ranger 26.
