    Boat specs below ⬇️
Living and traveling on a sailboat means that we often get to visit places that many people don’t get the chance to, or that we have a sort of back door entrance to. Working as we go means that we also travel slowly, more so than your average cruising boat. We often find ourselves with a turnover or two of other cruising boats coming and going while in any given place. When we entered Bahia Honda, and anchored Boundless next to this beautiful shoreline, we were purely in search of a good night of sleep, and a comfortable place to catch up on work. We had no idea that we would not only be the only cruising boat here for our entire stay, but that we would meet a family who would open their lives and home to us.
This week you are coming along with us in this remote part of Panama's Jungle for a look into their world, what is important to them, how they thrive in this remote area of Panamanian jungle, and how cruisers like us are a critical part of their ecosystem. We’re starting off with the first morning surrounded by the serenity of the of this new world around us.

Hey Kiddos! Truly one of the best local culture videos I've seen among all the sailing and travel channels. A lot of insight in a very short time. And Yes I believe that most people are inherently good and just want to be left in peace by the few that aren't. I miss the sounds of the jungle. Much of my younger life, I was a mostly solo backpack traveler and have so many experiences of folks with very little being so welcoming and generous in sharing what little they have.

En virkelig fin episode. Dere klarer å formidle opplevelser og inntrykk, noe få andre «RUclips-sailors» gjør! God video-kvalitet, fine scene-skift og flott «voice-over»!

I find that most people across the world are so welcoming and helpful. Panama is a very special place to me. This episode has rekindled the fire to return and experience other areas of Panama. The water pipeline reminded me of a walk into Isla del Cocos where we found a pipe along the trail. It was pouring water from areas above. I believe it was the most exotic and wonderful water I have ever tasted. We have lost so much of the pristine environments that support and protect life. I relish the enjoyment of finding these gems. Thank you for bringing me back to some of the most beautiful memories.

Somehow your channel appeared on my screen and I viewed several of your videos. Although I've been watching other channels including Teulu to me yours is the one I like most. You have a very nice way of sharing your life, show a lot of sailing and let the viewers participate in your experiences ashore with locals. To me you two are the most sympathetic sailing couple of all and it's heartwarming to observe how grateful your are for your adventure. Good luck and much success with your channel.

The entire episode was beautiful. Right from the start the videography was just amazing! The scenery was picturesque and I think your camera work and editing did it justice. Your interaction with the local families was admirable and I’m sure created life-long memories. This was a truly special episode!

This is definitely a beautiful and very heartfelt video. It is amazing to see that people on just such a small island are such gracious and appreciative hosts, definitely A slice of heaven because in today's world there is so much violence and hatred, yeah look at the beauty the sounds of nature and beautiful people that live such a humble life. Thank you for sharing the video and thank you for sharing with this beautiful family giving them the gift of love of sharing and caring. As always God bless and stay safe from Glendale Arizona

Like many others, I've been watching sailing videos for years, with the hopes one day to push off the dock too! Now, I only follow two channels, and your one fo them! Today's intro was by far one of the best, just amazing. I felt like I was there gliding across the water into a soft morning conversation with natural sounds. Then to show and be shown unfiltered Love. I really felt this one! Thank you for sharing today, I look forward to many more adventures together! BIG hugs & Much Love from Oregon!

Another wonderful video. I love how you take the time and respect and interact with the locals. You’re are building relationships that will last a lifetime! I know that space is limited on a boat, perhaps the next time you get to a place where you can secure inexpensive goods, you might purchase some inexpensive “trade” type items, to give and exchange with people in remote places. They mentioned back packs and clothes. I am curious what other items the have a need for or desire in these remote areas! You could include some of those things on an “Amazon” wish list and people could donate them and you could pick them up at some, point in time when you were able to get mail.

It is so heart warming to see such gratitude from strangers. You vould feel it not just see it. It makes you wonder why the same does not always happen as spontaneously in the more developed world. You can learn something from the humility, gratitude and grace of such people. ❤

    - This in my opinion is your best video ever. It is rewarding that you embraced the locals as you did. - My wife (Colombian) and I lived in Japan for 7 years (military) and pretty much went native the entire time. Never chose to live on the base. The friendships we made have lasted over 45 years. Multi trips by our JN friends to our home in the US, and of course a few pilgrimages back to Japan.
    - You two are an amazing young couple and feel blessed that I found your channel.

I have to tell you, one of the most awesome videos I have ever watched!! You both are extremely kind people and their whole family could pick up on that right away. They are just like you guys. I am almost sure they don't extend their hospitality to every boat that drops the hook in their back yard, most people don't have the kindness in there soles like you do. You have made friends for life. How cool is that. Cheers from Austin, TX

Nice to hear you're coming to Costa Rica. I moved here 30 years ago and I love it. However, after checking out Bahia Honda on Google Maps I see you guys are on the east coast. Please be very careful when coming ashore in Costa Rica. The east coast of Costa Rica is more like Haiti, than anywhere else. If you ever find your selves on the west coast of Costa Rica let me know and maybe we can grab a beer together. Smooth Sailing you guys.
