The way that I was taught to ring the tinsha is to grasp each tinsha firmly where the leather meets the metal. Then, tap together. It is easier and you dont miss. However, this isnt meant to be dogma. Have a fun, creative time with it.
Thank you very much! Very useful for composers looking to brighten their music with the finger cymbal!
Yes yes yes more of you and this please
Thanks for your great explanation🌼
The vibrato is from a tiny Doppler affect with The reverberating sound waves. They sound like static when the sound waves crash from each other, it’s a different sound. :) (notice a sound you can only hear with two, but not with one cymbal.)
Thanks. Good sound.
Beautiful sound. .nice for movies
bastien le minh Yes - I think we can listen for these sounds in many shows and movies.
The pause followed by, "....which is puzzling" made me howl haha!!
Im listening from smartphone with open window in noisy city.😂
And i think i have to listen to your advice better. Thank you!
Firts bells have also nice vibrato.
The last bells have mystical sound.
Fantastic! I'd love to see a follow-up video showing how the different bells are used in orchestral/group pieces.
LoveToSing2008 I’ll see if I can find some video. Might have to make some examples. There are quite a few in my recordings.
@@WORLDDRUMCLUB That would be great, thanks!
Amazing vids
Thank you. Please share!
I want Tibetan bells so baaaadly….
That one Tibetan cymbal actually does have Sanskrit on it. It says Om mani padme hum (in Tibetan script).
The other has a set of auspicious symbols, such as a conch shell, an endless knot and some others I can't see very well on my screen.
Om 🙏
sir this symbols using in India for Bajans so devotional songs especially south Indians
Great. - Can you share some examples? Send me a link through my website: kalanimusic.com
