It did and is established if you’re old like me. The studio forced that ending, the “real” ending - as intended - was filmed and is readily available on the RUclipss
Here's one interpretation on the ending or least how it saw it. Freddy having piggybacked on the soul of Alice's baby to be reborn in the nightmare. He then forced fed baby tortured souls to manipulate growth negatively. Having reached the desired level of manipulation he forcibly removes himself from Alice as she was a primary host and to then inhabit the child. The child resist and this gives Amanda the opportunity to contain the weakened reborn Freddy soul. Albeit with difficulty and futility as there is another movie. Without Freddy's influence the baby soul returns to normal and thus movie comes to a close.
Maybe the end of the first movie was the mother's dream. That would account for her dying (in a dream, which is Freddy's thing) and for the daughter surviving.
If you want the actual Will Smith shit, it's "Nightmare on My Street" and it was cut from the Dream Master soundtrack/ it's pretty great. Freddy kills Jazzy Jeff at the end

The funny thing about this killer named Freddy who can't fucking stay dead in spite of the rules saying he should be several times over... just to keep overextending a horror franchise for over a decade...
The red vs blue reference put me into a nostalgic shock… good times
I did this whole arc with my friends back in high school, and what a ride it was 😂 these movies are bizarre.
Has Rags never heard of porcelain dolls?
5:51 i can say that Turkish prisons are not like that they are just regular prisons with criminals that has regular clothes 😅
EFAP's second movie franchise staring Alice
If you want the actual Will Smith shit, it's "Nightmare on My Street" and it was cut from the Dream Master soundtrack/ it's pretty great. Freddy kills Jazzy Jeff at the end
Somehow, searching for this video in RUclips is impossible to find. No matter how you type it in, it will give you every other EFAP Movies in existence except for this one, 74 and 76 pull up when you search for 75
54:51 Life begins at conception in the Nightmare on Elm Street universe and the ability to communicate to your mother through dreams! 😃
this one looks like it was better than the last one at least, had some cool dream sequences and effects
Man, the "what'd ya bring me?" got no effort this time. They really were done with this movie.
Hey crew,
I would holy recommend the movie Behind the Mask. Terrible traiker but fabtastic movie ofna film crew following a "thematic killer". It plays on that all the horror tropes and is incredibly well crafted - and stars robert englund in his later year's as a nice cameo =)
Not defending the plot of this movie cause its really bad, however I believe the idea is that when the baby dreams it has the ability Kirsten from 3 had to pull people into the dream world. Since Kirsten gave the ability to Alice in nightmare 4.
They not gonna like this one neither
That drawing in idea was somewhat cool.
“Somehow Freddy returned,” and “it was fire!” 😂 great deliveries
Who would have thought Joker 2 and Nightmare on Elm Street 5 would have raping the main male character in common.
Fun fact: The Poster was made before a script was finalized as was the subtitle "The Dream Child"
So if you feel the writing is a mess, that's why. They had to try and explain what the hell a "Dream Child" was.
Also the script got rewritten to hell several times cause Robert Shaye wasn't happy with the earlier drafts
Wasn't that also why the ending was so off-the-walls, batshit insane? The writers legit had no idea how Freddy would be beat, and so we got...that.
@@GPMM213 I think so, the writers had no idea what the hell Dream Child referred to so that was the concept they came up with.
TV Tropes' Trouble Production page has a section on the Elm Street franchise that's worth a read
I think 4 is worse than this one in the same way alien 3 is worse than 4, it killed off the characters and reset everything without introducing anything good to replace them
Nightmare on Elm Street became a horror comedy series pretty quickly.
At 54:00 Rags says a line that sounds so much like the guy who had just spoke I had to go back to make sure it was someone on stream. The lines a doozy too
This film had some truly CRUEL kills, the uncut VHS extended Dan and Greta's death scenes - the former having fuel LITERALLY injected into his calves, and the latter being forcefed her own stomach.
I was just listening mostly and I didn't even notice Fringy was even here until the end.
This series of movies were deemed worthy enough for Reebok to launch a pair of Freddy Krueger Edition Bug Stomper trainers...
Grandparents could get custody fairly easily back in the day.
low key my favorite content you guys make lol
Metal bursting into "Eat It" got me good. 😂
30:48 You cant just dump ThePruld on me like that. Fucking spit my drink all over the place XD
The editing
I'm super pleased with the addition of the Take On Me Dark Souls crow.
Timecode 30:43
I am amazed that no one asked where the damn dog from the last movie is? I know that desecrating the holy ground freddy was buried in brought freddy back, but that the dog pissing on it IN A DREAM does the same shit and no one explains anything is wild
The dog was Kincaid's and since he's gone...
30:47 ThePruld clip?? A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one!
Every time I hear that line delivery of “BAD YEAR…. DAAAAN!” I shit myself laughing
my favorite solo freddy movie is new nightmare. i'm looking forward to that one
33:10 Hey... that's the kid that gets slashed by Dr. Grant in Jurassic Park...
17:07 It's funny because that dude is totally Rags. (Brining up some random bulllshit no one asked for)
Never thought I'd see an rvb reference on efap movies
15:27 Alternate theory: Freddie Kruger is the resurrected spirt of Dick Jones, eternally frustrated that Robocop has anti-virus software protecting his dreams.
Once more I am just waiting for New Nightmare 😂
This movie HAS to be someone's acid trip. What the hell
The funny thing about this killer named Freddy who can't fucking stay dead in spite of the rules saying he should be several times over... just to keep overextending a horror franchise for over a decade... It just reminds me of William Afton of the FNaF games.
They both had their best showings in 3, they had their best deaths in 3, and they should have been laid to rest permanently in 3. Hell both were child murderers who died in fires, and they're gonna both be in the same game (Dead by Daylight).
30:34 The prophecy.
31:11 As the spiders foretold, sort of.
32:35 From blood to dust.
57:50 Platoon makes a sound.
40:42. I'm disappointed that they didn't use the clip where the guy falls backwards out of his chair, with the edit of him disappearing into the floor, like Mark did in his dream.
The main character of this movie, Alice, is played by Lisa Wilcox. Most recently, Lisa Wilcox was on a game show with her son called Milf Manor. Maybe you guys heard of it.
Yes, back in the 80s, we all had jeans plants.
It really feels like 4 and 5 would make more sense if Alice was Kristen.
All you would need to do to be safe from Freddy is get severe sleep apnea.
How would not breathing intermittently help?
"Freddie, do you even know mechanically what is happening? " cracked me up
This movie is like Mass Effect 3 ending on Elm Street
52:42 "I'M A WARRIAH!" LMAO
Never saw these as a kid. I thought this was supposed to be a horror franchise.
I dont think this series is scary for the most part but it is fun and has that goofy 80s charm.
You guys keep bringing up Marge Thompson, she wasn't killed by Freddy.
In the 3rd Movie, it's directly said that after the event of the first moment, she couldn't handle what all had happened and killed herself in the living room of her house.
They still don’t know that the theatrical ending isn’t the real ending
@SpartyCubsFan what was the real ending?
Ive only seen thr theatrical.
But in the 3rd, they specifically said she committed suicide.
@@SpartyCubsFan If it's in the movie, it's the real ending. Whatever else is the alternative.
All Freddy needs is a well watered K9
The title of this movie hits differently when you consider why Freddy got permanently cancelled.
Adobe file type?
@@stevenscott2718 The worst file type of all.
So, of all the scenes in all these movies, the eating scene is the one that grossest me out the most. Idk why, but I cant watch it. Its so disgusting.
Chris Chan isn't crazy, hes the Dimensional Prophet.
What is the cartoon edit in this at about 5:30? That looks hilarious 😂
Was that Stalin flying the F4?
I pray you guys watch the Phantasm movies!
