As for Anime Showdown, the developers have said they plan to make the game free when they rerelease it. I believe the game can do quite well, but most of the ABA players would instantly be uninterested due to the more complex pvp, and less character variety.

Currently, my guess is that most roblox games do have great developers, but they lack something crucial for perfect development : Management. Something that most indie studios struggle with. There are some bigger titles and companies that are the polar opposite of games like Aincrad Online that was supposed to release 3 years ago, with nothing done until now, but the majority is still faulty at this. Once devs understand this, just like I did and try to do, then the platform may see a new era of high quality games.

Every anime game outside of a select few feel the exact same, they lack any interesting combat mechanics and it's just a slog to get through to either a non existent PvE endgame or a boring PvP endgame. Hopefully one day a team of devs really puts in the effort to release something new and special to help the genre reach new heights

honestly it’s all because too many bandit beating ideas and rushing, we need more like rpg experience and a bunch of new ideas or even reused ideas just work on them to make them better, demonfall is a great example of a good game with rpg aspect
while axs did have a content problem, its pretty obvious most people just got bored with the game. when katakuri got added the playercount went from around 1k-2k to over 10k for quite a few days, but by the time hit released it was barely even reaching 2k on update day.
As a new new roblox game suggestor (ie suggesting game ideas and content after playing it like if i was a tester or smth), its best for them to have a storyline,related abit to the anime they potray (like demonfall) and have decently diffcult enemies to not be brainless and require some skill to perform against and win (Demonfall again) and the gamepasses should be at most,optional, such as accessories or dlc storyline that is just different armor designs and same diffculty (more content) and heavily advised to not spam 900 bandits to lvl up once,get different quests like acrane, or deepwoken,as you should be dashjng around while doing side quests (things that isnt killing npcs and more of service), theres morr but this is all for now.

AUT fell hard and I agree on that one. But for the past month or two they been pumping out updates every two weeks consistently, smaller content wise but alot of balance and bug fixes while I am sure that AUT will never be able to have a competition with YBA but atleast they keep promises about update schedule

Let me further explain this as a roblox modeler. you release alpha's to raise more robux so you can keep working on your game people don't just work for free. The 3rd game is a prime example of this. It had bad scripting because they ran out. In the first game the devs didn't give up on the game I believe there just doing fixes and adding new content to it. For the 2nd game it didn't really even close down it needed more maps and 3 more characters per update I'm honestly confused why it took so long the character modeling isn't really that hard if your experienced the effects take like 3 days at max per character the scripting should take like 1 day or 5 hours.

I got a feeling that holy war x will change roblox's curse cuz they overhype but not rush the game they take all their time to have a good game(unlike some devs)
wisteria 2 also had little to NO content if you chose the demon route what I mean by this is the demon progression system sucked, there was no blood demon arts leaving the only abilities you got the weird slashes and stuff, the demon story line was decent at best (I will say my favorite part was the demon story line purely off the fact you had the option to kill or give mercy to important people you would have gotten missions from if you chose the slayer route)
To be fair Anime Showdown Is A Quality>Quantity game, yes it might take a month for a character, but even then at least they don't reuse the same moves every time

Techy, I have a feeling it's just a self-conduction loop. Devs say "It' might be ready by (random date here)" but whenever it's delayed players will complain about it being delayed, and if it's released in a buggy state, players will just complain EVEN MORE.
A good two reason why these games die early is miss managing and a bad community. Most of the time a community is dogging on devs to release and then complain over anything and devs don’t know how to manage their community or themselves

Techy you are very ambitious on anime showdown these characters are thought out and take LOTS of time to complete just one which is why it takes such a long time to complete a single character. Plus the effects are way more high quality compared to aba's which if you have ever tried making effects it's not the easiest thing to do.

anime showdown has better effects then aba so maybe if they had lowered those flashy effects they could make more characters faster
Wisteria 1 (now known as Mugen) is completely revamping the progression, moves, and races. I think you should look into that and make a video, because Mugen has much more potential than Wisteria 2.

wisteria 2 also had little to NO content if you chose the demon route what I mean by this is the demon progression system sucked, there was no blood demon arts leaving the only abilities you got the weird slashes and stuff, the demon story line was decent at best (I will say my favorite part was the demon story line purely off the fact you had the option to kill or give mercy to important people you would have gotten missions from if you chose the slayer route)

Techy, I have a feeling it's just a self-conduction loop. Devs say "It' might be ready by (random date here)" but whenever it's delayed players will complain about it being delayed, and if it's released in a buggy state, players will just complain EVEN MORE.
I feel like the only thing anime showdown struggled with was lack of characters and too much time for each character
A good two reason why these games die early is miss managing and a bad community. Most of the time a community is dogging on devs to release and then complain over anything and devs don’t know how to manage their community or themselves

Techy you are very ambitious on anime showdown these characters are thought out and take LOTS of time to complete just one which is why it takes such a long time to complete a single character. Plus the effects are way more high quality compared to aba's which if you have ever tried making effects it's not the easiest thing to do.
I’m saying all these things from the point of view of a roblox player. Imma be completely honest no roblox player cares about all them fancy effects that’s why anime showdown flopped. Even saitama battlegrounds is a perfect example.
