Tip for a (extremely dumb!) strat: Make a line of bunkers across the map, each connected to the next one. Then punt the rally point of each adjecent bunker to the next and hotkey them all together. Put marines in the first bunker and then you can make them teleport to the other side of the map instantly by holding down the exit bunker button. I would absolutly love to see you try to do it!
I really love the mass observer game, it's genuinely a really strong strategy, i'd like to see more of it, and see how you react against other compositions when you know in advance.
The problem with it is that it’s expensive and takes up valuable time building robo units. No point in knowing what’s coming if you won’t be able to defend it.
@@mishaspencer4377 well, true, you'd only build a couple at first, get a safety immortal with the early first robo time as well...but late game build an extra robo whos entire job it is to just churn out obz. If he can survive the early game with a bit of outplay, the late game will be a hell of a show!!
I thought an observer cheese meant building enough observers that if the opponent gets detection he can't see/select his units underneath the sea of observers blocking out the sun...
I remember one pro game many years ago (we're talking early/mid 2010s), where the terran had built 20+ command centers, and used them to cover his army, so the opponent couldn't target units with spellcasters :D
against protoss, I think I would accept it as a viper cheese to make a chain of vipers and grab one probe from a base and keep dragging it to your base then neural it and build a nexus, then beat your opponent with protoss.
the archon surround is a hilarious find. Reminds me of a game where maru hides some of his harrasment marines in the medivac so that innovation sends insufficient units to defend. If you hide 4 archons you could also encourage the opponent to fight you. Dropping them behind the roach ball would work even better. Maybe dropping ultras behind the enemy army is good. Ultras have awful mechanics in an army.
I guess you've missed day9's episode with 3 robo immortal before expanding. You should definitely try it some day. Just save up some resources while the robos warp in, pump out immortals, when you have insufficient gas to feed all 3 robos attack and build the natural. They are expensive units, cant attack air and have no other special abilities, in exchange they do otherworldly damage without dying. It is very rewarding to move the damaged ones to the back. In one of my favorite games we wiped 3 opponents had 4 maxed armies then the last opponent had max supply worth of immortals. He walked straight though 3 armies and removed all our buildings. My army was pure 3/3 muta which turns out to not do anything. We should have killed our own units and build something else but in stead we chose to die rich.
Regarding the first game, a composition I would find fun is mass observers phenix DT, and you kill all oponnent observers and oracles with phenix observers, and you kill him with DT.
In team games I’ve seen people do mass immortal base snipe. If you can get like 8 immortals with 4 warp prisms you can like 4 shot a nexus/hatchery/cc and with warp prism speed it’s hard to stop especially when there’s always recall as a backup if they come with air units to defend.
Hey, great games again, can't wait for the zerg explody boys, hope you don't go for a classic baneling bust but more of a bane drops and bane burrow all over the map type of deal. I'm sure you'll come up with something crazy ! Great serie so far, thanks for the entertainement.
This archon drop on the army looks so freaking strong, I wonder if it could make in pro Grames. It offers so much micro potential that I wonder what it would look like if someone trains it for months
Yeah, if I remember, dropping beefy units on top of Zerg usually goes in your favor Especially if you keep on picking them up and moving them to prevent your own from getting fully surrounded
Hey Marc!" Yer a Genius :D This was lovely to watch, weeeeee!! Tigers on the move vs T-34, mainling them self trough everything, up front with ezz. Enigma info in the air, everywhere, information received, 100% And Paratroopers behind enemy lines, on an special mission & creating havoc everywhere.
The archon Drop is lowkey amazing. Archons biggest problem is size and thus hard to get all doing dps without getting bunched behind each other. Drops solve that. That being said Hydra viper would have probably been a mess to play against.
Viper cheese idea: overlord speed + parasitic bomb on your own overlord, then rush it into their air units and follow them around. I call it the "COVID Lord" strategy.
Random fun idea. Play just as the eco of the team, and then send them the money. Act as if you were the International Monetary Fund. Only defences allowed 😂
Can you play a strategy with terran race with these rules: No medivacs, no marauders , ,no tanks(only one tank in the begining if needed), no mines , no hellions , no reapers (only one if needed) and not mass produce only one unit.
mass observers imo are only good in 2 situations. 1: you're a lot better than your opponent or 2: you're in a low rank but high enough to use the info (ie like dia/plat)
That 4 WP Arcon.. was.. DISCUSTING! 🤣 Question: How many Barracks could 1 uThermal fly in a game, and would it be enough to black out the entire map? 🤔 Have a nice day, Peace!
What would go good with mass observer? Maybe phoenix? However, if you're doing a challenge for using units, I don't think you should include ones that cannot attack or do ability damage in any way.

Do you watch T90 and the guy who did that with fortified churches and monks?

Polt did this challenge pretty cool
Yeah... Thats why the proxy rax exist... 🤪🤪🤪
26:15 that's a DIRTY Archon drop.
God damn.
This build will officially be called "The Marchon Drop"
Perfection!
26:14 in all of sc2 history, i have never seen a person do this
Imagine if he would have gotten prism speed
WTF is an observer cheese?
Marc: "Hold my beer."
Observer cheese = map hacks
26:07
ARCHON DOOM DROP OF THE CENTURY!
"Never seen this B4..."
Marc:
"me neither"
God Bless you ALL!

@ sadly the early game is the most critical period for building the other robo units.
@@mishaspencer4377 True, the observers will mostly come later once all the 'safety work' is done.
There's no higher praise in a game as old as SC2 as a grandmaster opponent saying they've never seen a tactic you just made up. Amazing games! ✨
The archon prism micro was a legendary move
Fantastic games!
First game is crazy not to have observer speed
I thought an observer cheese meant building enough observers that if the opponent gets detection he can't see/select his units underneath the sea of observers blocking out the sun...
😂

That overseer strat of rogue was truly insane

Rule #1: Zergs are always suspicious.
when you're ahead and want to lose, build ultras

Knowledge is Power: Immortal Edition
War prism archon juggling was peak protoss strat in game 2. And the final pincer strike to surround the zerg was chefs kiss.
The thoughts of protoss players: "I want longer macro game... but first, let me cannon rush the opponent" 😂
You are a source of great joy. Thanks for all you do.

31:14 A series of unfortunate events! XD oh my god, I actually would just leave if that much went wrong all in a row, right at the start of the game
archon drop is amazing
A humble offering for the almighty algorithm.
A humble follow up to increase "engagement"
Regarding the first game, a composition I would find fun is mass observers phenix DT, and you kill all oponnent observers and oracles with phenix observers, and you kill him with DT.
Proxy robo mass observer.
goal of the proxy is for it to get caught so they panic, letting you double expand instead and make mass observer for a bit.
5 supply HOLY SHIT that first game was brutal and so fucking cool to watch XD plz do that observer dt immortal cheese more
That archon drop surround... Marc is the Iron Chef of SC2.
That archon drop deserved the thumbnail
Prism speed archon drops make me :)
you can't call yourself a true protoss if you don't have cannon rush in your heart
At 26:15 you have to, really have to call it "The Dirty Archon" build
36:42 Bro attacked his own starport
In team games I’ve seen people do mass immortal base snipe. If you can get like 8 immortals with 4 warp prisms you can like 4 shot a nexus/hatchery/cc and with warp prism speed it’s hard to stop especially when there’s always recall as a backup if they come with air units to defend.
Seems very powerful.
Great one! Loved the archon drops. Would be cool to see a couple proxy shield batteries to recharge the archons off of.
"I know how to annoy Terran players guys, that´s basically my full time job"
This made me laugh out loud. 😂
Can you come up with a build designed to exploit energy overcharge?
The Archon cheese was well deserved. GG.
Archon sandwich, baby!
Great episode

I enjoy your content. Keep it up. I suck at SC2 but really enjoy watching these.
For an obs cheese vs. Protoss, I'd also like to see DT + Phoenix to kill their obs.
MArchon drops were insane. The only thing maybe missing was Observer speed upgrade (at least I missed it if it was done).

This was pure art, all of these were great!
35:00 actually laughed out loud😂
Loved the "uthermal-archon surround".
Archont doomdrop is my favorite strat.
26:15 flanking bonus unlocked
Wow ... the Observer map Hack is soemthing that motivates me to play SC2 again xD
Energy recharged sentry with 3 DTs into the main and a warp-in of Zealots.
WTF??? that cannon rush and probe against gasteway??? ROTFLAHMSWMPIMPLMAO...
NA uses canonrush so liberately that they forget to be inside the base when executing it xD
that's kinda why zerg loves to spread creep - you can see every enemy move
Immortal clump crushes
Hats off! for the Archon surround 😀
surprisingly good observers , never ever think about it
Those archons drop were ridiculous.
How often can you guys cannon rush?
Yes.
1:26 hes not wrong. I LOVE pvp because I love to cheese in pvp
I would rather lose 5000 mmr than stop cannon rushing
Can we call the Archon army "The cotton death ball"?
It’s not an arcon toilet bowl, it’s an arcon cow pie
The MARCHON drop was crazy
I have to say that mass observers challenge with no observer-speed and mass prism without speed as well is a bit crazy
Archon Doom drop was sweet. Do more.

*squints eyes* did the title change from an epic Zerg cheese to an epic Protoss cheese….? Hmm….
remember when pucK was chasing down mutas with 4 speed warp prisms full of archons? xD
First game is literally how I play PvP.

for observers, if you get complete vision of map, would it be effective to just spam storms, throw temps in a lift and torment to the grave
Gotta say, not sure why warp prism + archon hasn't been done over a decade ago. Reminds me of archon toilet except not absurdly OP
He can see the shimmer dude
I knew I liked archons, but never thought of doing that!
35:30 Does anyone have a clue what he wanted to do with his queens instead of sending them to the opponent's base?
What would go good with mass observer? Maybe phoenix?
However, if you're doing a challenge for using units, I don't think you should include ones that cannot attack or do ability damage in any way.
I wonder how good archon drops would be with proxy batteries?
Wow archons are so strong with prisms. Am I crazy or should that be the answer to roachs?
This episode is so epic. Try a different mass prism build
14:14 and that is after the immortals have been nerfed
Your skills are pretty legit across your videos. You really do this full time?
NA toss here…plat 3. All my mirror matches are either cannon rush or other cheese
You could drop the queens and transfuse with this too
Cannon rush funny. Probe go vroom.
Cool, now do the same with burrowed lings sir
Mutalisks hate this one simple trick.
