I've seen several channels do this Angel but none use the rubber bands. These are so cute n festive for Christmas but also for Bridal showers n new Bride's gift too or a new home house gift The made these when ,I was a teenager n I still love these today . Tfs
Eve M Thank you Eve. Yes this is such a great timeless project. I’ve lost count how many I’ve made in the past. Somewhere on my channel I have made rabbit ones for Easter. There may just a little different but so precious on the table or for a baby shower. Thanks so much for watching.
Thank you for this. I´ve made a few of these to give away as gifts this holiday season with the help of your tutorial. They came out looking really cute. I like the fact that they are cute, cheap, handmade and very easy to make. Hopefully the recipients will like them as much as I do. I really appreciate you taking the time to show us how to make them. Your tutorial was incredibly helpful. Thanks again, I REALLY appreciate it!!
Leslie's Sweet Obsession That is awesome Leslie. This is what I strive for in projects on my channel. Cute, easy and inexpensive. I also have another video making something very similar. It's dishtowel rabbits for Easter time. I appreciate you watching.
While I like the idea, I am not a fan of the glue. I think I will prefer the recipients being able to take it apart and use the towels after the holidays. What do you think? Especially the reindeer.
Thank you so much Elizabeth. I don’t recall out of probably 500 videos me having anything on gift baskets. But I do have several for little hostess gifts things like that. Such as ....hot pot mit stiffed with a wooden spoon and a cookie mix things you can put together to give a friend or hostess I appreciate you stopping by.
I am definitely trying this soon. I'm looking for ideas to finish off baskets of canning goods I'm making for Christmas. I'm going to add these and matching crochet towel toppers you hang on stove. Thank you for the easy instruction.
This is just PRECIOUS!! My girlfriend gave me one last year as a Christmas gift and it was so special because it was homemade. I adore homemade gifts. :) I still have it hanging in my kitchen. Thank you for sharing how you made it. You did an great job.
I think Christmas time brings out more emotions. I tear up easy missing my Momma, and wonder where the years have gone. Thanks for watching Virginia. ❤️
Yes Rhonda it's one of those oldie but goodie type craft gifts that are inexpensive, easy and still cute after all these years. Plus you could actually tie the wings onto the body instead of hot gluing so they can just untie and use towel set.
I’m sorry. You can attach the wings by using more ribbon and tie around the waist area or pin it in place. These two methods would allow you disassemble and have a kitchen towel set. However, if you never want to take it apart, hot glue it. Thank you for watching. 🥰
You're welcome and thank you for showing how to make these, and for responding back so fast. They're beautiful and I love how you have it sitting on the box.
paula v Hi Paula, I had to go back and watch the video so I could remember what I said. Ha!! I’ll be glad to do a country version of this angel. Give me a week or so to find the dishtowels and I’ll see what I can come up with. 😁
Linda McDonald Yes Linda , these angels would be so fun to make with your granddaughters. This Spring be sure and look up my dish towel rabbit video. I bet they would love to make these too.
What a beautiful idea !!!! I was trying to come up with some handmade Christmas gifts and this certainly fits my wish !! She is precious and what a great gift !!! Thanks so much for the tutorial !!! But I didn't find the printable poem????? ! God bless !!
Hi Irene, if I was going to make these for craft show I would sell them for $10. You may sell more at this price point versus a few dollars more. People are looking for $10 gifts for teachers neighbors etc. You are definitely doubling the cost and it only takes 15 minutes to make one. Good luck!!
Momma always said, “3 times your cost equals wholesale. Double that for retail.” So, if I spent $4 for the towel, pot holder and washcloth, I’d start my price at $12. PS-I’d *never* hot glue anything to these! That way the buyer would have the option of removing the ties and have a useable towel, etc. It was tricky, but I’d tie the wings to the back of the neck. Worked like a charm.
Aw, such a sweet project! Thanks for the thorough tutorial.( p.s.- Did you figure out how to replace your Nativity Scene's Baby Jesus - the one your puppy considered an appetizer?)
Thanks for asking. Lol. I would have given this little hairy rascal away if someone had been here. I don't have a little baby body. However, I do have a little wooden ball with the face on it . I'm thinking of swaddling it in something to resemble a baby.
Libby Jarchow your right Libby. These cute little dolls go way back. Luckily we do have rubber bands now to make the construction easier. Thanks for watching.
I’m sorry Patty I’m guilty of taking to fast. It’s a southern thing . Lol. I’m glad you figured out what I was saying. I hope you liked the angel and poem regardless. 😁❤️👍🏻
The good thing about this dish towel doll is you can undo the rubber band and rework the arms and head until you get the look you want. 👍🏻👍🏻. Thanks for watching.
I love these angels. I cannot wait to make for gifts for Christmas. thank you!
These are the cutest gifts. Thank you for watching Andrea. 🥰

@@MimisMixedBag They are, and so cute, too!
While I like the idea, I am not a fan of the glue. I think I will prefer the recipients being able to take it apart and use the towels after the holidays. What do you think? Especially the reindeer.
I agree with you Carol . The only hot glue is attaching the wings. You could tie the wings on somehow everything could be reused. 👍🏻👍🏻
CAROL MARSHALL I agree with you. The halo and wings could be attached with straight pins.
You do beautiful work, was wondering if you have any videos on gift baskets, or gift tins? Thanks so much and God Bless You and Yours...
Thank you so much Elizabeth. I don’t recall out of probably 500 videos me having anything on gift baskets. But I do have several for little hostess gifts things like that.
