4:22 Your spinnerbait lands literally an inch off the bank, and enters the water like an Olympic diver, NO SPLASH! Just incredible Matt, you're a magician!🪄✨️
I fish local tourneys against ,the owner of Picasso Lures, Terry and he’s a hell of a nice guy. Their product is built very well and pretty much all works to catch bass. It’s nice his shop were he builds everything is only 10 minutes away from me.
I put the new core tackle swim jig on a beatle spin wire/blade. When the bass were swimming away from my regular spinner bait . And loaded the live well with a lite 9lbs, and then i switched to a Panorama and core tackle Ozark rig and dock flipped, weighed in 17lb. Good for 5th place today.
Love running the bank pitching a spinnerbait! Mann's also used to sell a TI wire spinnerbait about 20-years ago. I'll be getting some of these from Picasso!!
Thanks for the video. I have always used the T1 spinnerbaits, and currently in the market for a replacement since the ones that I have are pretty beat up now. I will be ordering some to try out. 👍
I miss the old t1 terminator spinner baits. I still have 4 of them im afraid to throw them and lose them. This is nice to know that someone is still making these
Man back in the day when Terminator came out with the titanium wire spinnerbaits I loved them. I bought a truck load of them in different sizes and colors and I'm still working out of my old stock... I like the free swimming heads on these I'll definitely pick a few up when they come out. Great video as always keepem coming brother!!!
One of the best ways to get bit quick is throw a spinnerbait at smallies smashing baitfish on the surface. However, on those long bomber casts to far- feeding fish, bigger smallies often can throw the hook. Ill be tryin this one out for sure.
Yea I'm about to be in that club... probably be the first 1 to own that new lews LFS rod they released at icast 2024 plus a couple new Strike King Lures I'm getting at end of month announced at icast this year
I carry a pair of landscape hand pruners in my boat on the front deck. I use them to clip limbs instead of trying to untangle lures trapped and wrapped on limbs. At 8:08.
I’m soooo happy about this lure. I’m from WI, where pike, Muskie, and walleye, obliterate spinnerbaits. I used to buy terminator spinnerbaits on eBay. Thanks Picasso! And for the video Matt!
Great idea, I have a bunch of Terminator T1s. Please convince Picasso to make a pink spinnerbait, it shouldn't be hard for them and it will sell out fast.
My spinnerbait rolls and swing on its own. They catch everything. I don't need to do any additional pull. Tell Core Tackle to give me a call if you want the future.
Up here in upstate ny we’ve had 7-8 consecutive days of bluebird skies, zero wind.. no clouds,no rain. You wanna talk about stagnant water. 8 days ago when this started I caught 4smalloes over 18”..one 20” 5 1/4lb..and a few chunky 4s and close 4lbers. Since then, I’m lucky to get a 17”-18” fish where I’m typically pulling out numbers… I know I need to go upriver near the Lock(the dam) where there’s running water and more baitfish… I was able to make it up that via bass boat w a man practicing for a tournament..I saw wolfpacks , caught one or two out of every one… but what’s funny is you mentioned the shad run, on the Mohawk we have the blueback herring (white shad) come up to spawn… also the emerald shiner are running and they’re kinda large- atleast some schools I’ve seen are as big as 5” ..which is large for this river.. the deal has always been creeping a 1/4oz miniMAX, or nedmiki with a baby Z/too.. which is still the only bait getting bites.. but yesterday my plopper snapped off my 6lb Daiwa j braid on a cast- I saw a giant boil by where it landed so i quickly paddled to casting distance and landed my miniMAX right on the boil, after 1/2 way thru the retrieve and no bites I burned it in, something I never do, I typically fish it back to me and then let it pendulum under me when I have about 8ft of line out still… I didn’t do that… and at the very last second, after weeks of grinding and not catching any true giants i typically catch out here on the river… a 20” 5+ lb smallmouth SHARKED my jig at the LAST second as I was bringing it to o out of the water, he came right out of the water for it, missed , smacked my kayak, and off she went 🤦♂️. I didn’t have time to work to get her, a few mins but I have to leave…but maybe they’re sink keyed in on baitfish, they’re not eating bottom contact baits, like a slow rolled miniMAX over chunk rock… it seems like they WANT to chase, which is typical.. but not in these weather conditions. Crazy how big she was im still sick to my stomach about it.. any suggestions besides a soinnerbait, I’m already throwing that with minimal results..I’m 4 miles from the dam mind you.. far down river.. but I have rockpiles in 2-10ft of water that are in slack water that go on for almost a mile
If you put a swimbait on it, it will rock side to side almost like a chatterbait. I make my own and love it. Thank you Matt for your videos, keep them coming.
Very surprising not even a hammer handle. Ol Hank would love that thing. The profile on the jig. Wonder if there is some more colors work better in clear water. The winter water here is almost gin.
Thanks Matt. The swing head looks worth trying. Would be interested to hear your opinions on the "swing head swim jig." I know there are a couple out there. Have a few Strike Kings.
Matt, you probably filmed this a while ago…they are in stock and I just used your link to buy 2. I needed to replace a few that I’ve beaten up pretty good so I’ll give these a try. Looks great.
I remember some old dudes at the lake last week speaking about using a "titanium" spinnerbait back in the 80s or 90s. They acted like it was incredible, totally better than other spinnerbaits and I asked where I could buy one and they said that they don't make them anymore 😢 but I hear molix makes one lol
I thought from the thumbnail that it had a swing head. I wondered if or why no one made a swing head spinnerbait. I mean I don't know if there have been some out there but I've never seen one. I like the titanium wire aswell
I hope they make them in all blade combinations! I’m a round blade fisherman since my water is usually dark and muddy! Awesome video Matt! Do you have to start over again to qualify for the BPT? What are your plans for next year? Molix makes a titanium spinner air also!
DA Bears? 😂 I liked the Terminator, but they would break. I don't believe I have any left. War Eagle is a favorite of mine. I'm impressed with the fish population in your river.
I still have like 6 to 8 Terminator T1 spinner baits, a few that I have used but the remaining in new packaging. Never caught anything with them but knowing they [T1] are titanium , Íll keep them😊
Core tackle should make a swing head spinnerbait based on the tush hook. Imagine the body roll with a swim bait trailer. Internal weighted swing head spinnerbait!! I mean, come on..............................
I would love to have those spinnerbaits but I wish they would make new baits in lighter weight cause a lot of places I fish in south central PA is heavily pressured and I use 1/8-1/4 ounce in all my baits
Do you give casting lessons...lol. you never cease to amaze me with your casting. I try practicing with targets behind my apartment complex but i cast siting down in my kayak so its a different angle than standing up. Any tips or advice?
Great action, awesome spinnerbait am one of those titanium guys can't break them things. Now what you have to do is play around with a small Colorado in front and an Indiana on the back you'll thank me later 👍
That spinnerbait is almost there. I can teach you how to win on spinnerbaits alone but you might have to wait. Better if we go into the spinnerbait business together, but eh, who am I?
They look like really nice baits but will have to wait for when someone eventually puts them on sale but I am sure they will sell a bunch, I'm just to cheap, lol.
I dont have a Picasso but i have several free body spinnerbaits and they do nothing special that i see just an added weak point. Hopefully these are better
@MattStefanFishing yes like I said I have several FREE body spinnerbaits that add little to nothing but I hope they're better. I have pre-ordered them. Thanks for the video
The action sounds great. Really like the idea of the increased movement from the swing head design. I’m always impressed with your casting.
Thank you very much!
Matt, all of the Picasso lures I've used are exceptional. As usual, you pay more for high quality. Aaron Martens sold me on them.
quality costs more!

@@MattStefanFishing i just ordered two . Can’t wait to get them. Spinner in the fall is so much fun
Same I only use them in tournaments
I like the idea of being able to change The Wire to a different jig. Think if they did that. That would be an awesome option. Tonight's spinner bite
you can do that with these
I really like Picasso. I use their jigs, swim jigs, vib. jigs and spinnerbaits. Can’t go wrong.
they make great stuff!

I'll have to buy a few because I love fishing those type of lures.

Water temps in the 60’s. I’m jealous. Where I fish in Texas the water temp is in the low 80’s.
we will be froze over in 2 months

It is!
Been trying some of your casting techniques. So far, not so good, but I will get it.
you can do it!
When a hooked big bass jumps that swinging head will help against a big bass throwing the bait
absolutely!
Always enjoy your lessons Matt! Thanks

I feel like a swinging spinnerbait head makes it less weedless/snag-resistant.
Give it a try
Nice pitching Matt..
thanks!
Matt ,what makes a spinnerbait so snagless,is the wire arm acting like a weedguard. Wouldnt a free swinging head make it more snagless?
I didn’t find it to be more or less Weedless but that was the first time I’ve used it
Gotta pick up a couple of those!
