@ 17:55 you are showing the window that was removed from the aft cabin. If I'm right, the oblong cut out is from the portable AC exhaust. That may be why they removed the window.

If you have soft decks, that means the wood under the layer of fiberglass is rotten. Replacing decks is a major project, but has to be done.
