Jetty showing us the Queen size bed priceless!!! 😂She had me belly laughing!!! 💙🚢💙 Fantastic boat remodel. You both should be so proud of your hardwork!!
This boat turned out amazing! I have a hard time staying with sailing RUclipsrs that switch back and forth between the types of content they can put out. That being said, I haven’t missed a video since they were on Adrenaline. Doesn’t matter what they are up too, Billy and Sierra make anything interesting and fun to watch. This new boat is no exception! What a beautiful remodel!
Tony & Susan here, We are shocked at how well this turned out. We were skeptical that it was in fare worse shape. But you have made her beautiful again and given her a promising future for the next owner.
Flippin fantastic guys! You took a chance and used your waiting time to not only restore that beautiful boat but to make some great content as well. Well done!
Great job restoring that old boat. I have a soft spot for keeping old, but usable things in service. Much better to repair / renovate than always buy new. After watching your re-fit and repair, I would have no qualms about buying that boat from you. (If I could afford it...) Their are times when good enough work is more practical than perfection. An old boat like this one is a great example for "good enough". By the way, painting the galley white was a good call, it makes it bright instead of dingy. When it was new, that probably was not a problem. Enjoy the boat and your travels with it.
I am so ready for you guys to get the new boat, settle down and just take a breath. I have watched yall a long time so to speak. All 3 of you were the happiest in the Bahamahs. To me, it is yalls happy place. Get back to your roots lol. I need to order some more shirts lol.
You guys are unbelievable! Every project is more amazing than the last. We've been following you since you lived on the hook in Jupiter way back and, while we've switched back and forth on other channels, you are the constant for us. You guys should be so proud of the work you put into this. Keep it up!
Hey I watched them all, I've done 1 refit on me boat, I can appreciate the labor intensity, beautiful job , I know the worth of the elbow grease, I wish you nothing but fair winds and following seas
I started watching over 5 years ago. So mush inspiration gained through your channel. I'm in the process of selling what I thought was my dream farm property and the majority of my belongings. Just to start a new life sailing and eventually becoming a Captain, to charter trips from my home town of Sarasota Fl. To key west. Thanks for being AWSOME!!!
Whoever buys that boat will have the world's best video record of the restoration! As you headed North, did you nod your head towards Depoe Bay on the central Oregon coast, the boat's original transom hailing port? I'm sentimental that way, plus I've spent many a summer day at Depoe Bay!
Wow! You have inspired us to start remodeling our 1973 motor yacht. You have have given us a lot of great ideas, too! We got started last week! Really enjoying this series! Thanks!
"She's a good old boat, man" I couldn't have said it better myself, you two did an awesome job on reviving the old lady. I have seen every episode, thank you for the hours of pure entertainment. I would like to send you something to show my appreciation, how about a box of sanding disks 🙂
THANKS for the tour! MAGIC conversion. Highlights for me: Engine space, and after cabin. Fore cabin/V-berth could be for my son; one side for sleep, one for his desk. Topside, lovely job you've done as below.
You guys did a fabulous job. You restored her back to glory, and man does she look good. It was hilarious seeing Jetty showing off the bed. I wish you guys safe and wonderful travels.
Billy and Sierra, you both did such an awesome job rehabbing your boat. It is so big. And accessible! Have been watching your story for a very long time! Good luck on going forward and hoping to see you back in Florida soon!
Really fine restoration work. You both need to stand back and take a well deserved bow. The fact you were able to make a successful west coast transit from San Francisco to Washington state attests to you skill, the weather gods get some credit as well! It's been an enjoyable transformation journey for me. Chuck
Great job. i too have given up on all other sailing RUclipsrs. Either they're self absorbed or just strange. You two seem so natural and Jetty is perfect!!
Congratulations to you both. You recognized the good bones, put in the hard work and have been rewarded with a beautiful boat. I love watching your videos. The two of you work and play well together. You've built a great life thanks for sharing it.
It’s so perfect. I’m so happy for two of you. Plus I’ve been a dog lover for my entire life. Y’all are so great. Please be careful and stay away from big storms.
What a great $100.00 dollar deal!!! I imagine the former owners are very proud to see her back in ship shape....When you get your new boat, you can sell, charter, or use as an ABNB, for extra money. What a deal!!!!!!!!!! LOVE YAH!!!!!!
Y'all have done a terrific job refurbing your DeFever. I have a slightly smaller, newer, single-engine Marine Trader and your gorgeous, bright interior has inspired me to update hers.
IMO you two did the best I've seen here on youtube in the DIY boat refit and overhaul genre. Don't know if you are inching towards it but this could be your business and would be very successful.
I have watched you guys since your last trawler -- So I was not surprised to see you grab this one . She is BEAUTIFUL -- well done on a fantastic transformation !! Enjoy every minute in your new home ! !
We all had the opportunity to watch this transformation but until you got to the Puget Sound and have had the time to really organize and clean her up, the miracle was not quite as obvious as it is now! We know YOU love it, and now you know that WE love it, too! It is still a little hard to fathom the extent of what you two have accomplished! The previous owners have got to be overjoyed that you have saved their dear boat!
You two are so cute. Congratulations on your marriage and your beautiful new boat. You did an amazing job on her. I’ve really enjoyed the peaceful videos over the years & more to come - God bless
I know behind the scene you both put hour and hours of toil and sweat into transforming this old girl into a real beauty. I have really enjoyed watching all of your efforts pay off.
I have seen about 3 or 4 of your videos and all I can say is "Congratulation" for a job well done. OK., it's not quite done yet but it will be. It is nice to see a young couple doing this! Keep going and once you done, it would be nice to know where you will stay and maybe we come and visit!
Excellent review of all the hard work you both have put into this boat flip project. You bought her for $100, put a year of work into refitting and revitalizing her and now we all are wondering how much will you be selling her for. Its kind of funny as I recall when you bought her you stated it would be about a 4-5 month refit process and here we are 1 year later, lol. It alwasy takes longer than you expect with these things. Will you be doing a cost analysis for this refit? I am guessing you put in $50-75K and will be asking ~ $150K-200K when you list her. I guess you all end up making 150K to go towards the new Seawind catamaran, which should be almost ready for you all to pick up this spring. Looking forward to the next adventure soon!
I hadn't noticed that saloon table before, it's awesome!! Yes I have been with you from the beginning. Unfortunately my wife doesn't like the water so I'll never own a boat bigger than my fishing boat so I guess I'll live vicariously through you guys. Keep the good stuff coming.
I don't know much about boats but I've been watching you guys for a long time... honestly I know it's expensive to travel by engine but I like the layout of this trawler much better than any of the sail boats I seen from you guys so far. This boat looks amazing you guys really did a great job on it.
Wow! You both are to be congratulated on your new boat and your entire journey together! Your videos are awesome to view because they allow us landlubbers to fulfill our sailing and exploring fantasies. Thanks so much for the free ride!😀
You guys did a fantastic job on a boat that absolutely deserved to be rescued. Been with you since Adrenaline as well, and I agree...you make every project interesting and, in the process, I think you give other folks who may not have had the life skills you guys have a path to learn...this can be done! I've had my go fast boats and Tournament Ski boats, but I still remember my first time on a trawler as a kid. I think they are underappreciated by younger folks. The boats represent a way of traveling at a pace that makes the journey itself a bigger part of the trip; time to see, and enjoy the simple pleasures of being at sea. Well done guys.
I really liked the tip of your cap to your mom's awesome wedding gift of the Collapsible bikes. Always great to give shout outs to moms.😎 Mine made it to 90 and I have great memories of her that always bring a smile.
Re-Hab nicely done---I can see you are very proud of the job you have done, and rightfully so. My wife and my favorite moments were aboard our 1986 Sea Ray 340 Sedan Bridge. wish we were still on it----am now retired and on a fixed income. That style boat is truly a classic and made of the finist materials. Enjoy your fruits of many hours of work---it really shows very nice!!!
We started watching you recently and saw only your current, new boat. Decided to dig a bit deeper, wow! You guys are HARD workers! WELL DONE, we knew we liked you for a reason! Thank you Sierra for all your doggie info.....as we are beginning plans to return to boat life, this time with several furry family members (dog + cats), the info you pulled together and shared is invaluable! Love the videos and hope to see you out there in those wonderfully off the beaten track places. ;-)
My name is Clive Nelson and I’m located in South America. I really enjoy to see you all showing all the work you did and made that boat so beautiful I love it.
Wow! Awesome job guys. You took a poor old neglected trawler and brought her back to life for another go around. I can't imagine a better home anchorage than the San Juan islands WA. Tons of protected anchorages within a few hours under way. Cheers!
Every time I see how beautiful this boat It amazes me at your skill level! Whoever is lucky enough to purchase it from you should rest assured that you have refit it for long lasting cruising fun!
Just found you guy's, I watch a lot of boat and sailing you tube videos. I am going to have to go back and see where you started... What a beautiful boat.......
I miss my 70’ Broward. But that was a lifetime ago. I got away from the lime life and am enjoying my life now on our private mountain in north central Washington state. Once a year we check in on our 17K acre ranch in Montana and go take a look around our oil wells in California. We’re currently looking at another boat for summer living off shore in the South Pacific Ocean, perhaps off of San Diego or maybe the Ventura area.
You two youngsters did a mighty fine job of bringing your old boat back to life with your hard work! Y'all's love for the trawler is really shining bright. I'll be enjoying your adventures. 🤠
Great Content! I usually do not watch any Channel that has to do with living on a boat but this channel and the journey has been really great so far. Always wait for new episodes. Keep it going!
CONGRATULATIONS!You get the “GOLD MEDAL 🥇”in restoration! Now you can enjoy the fruit of your labor. You all did a fantastic job, both of you put in a lot of hard work. And now it’s time to shine . I’m so very happy for you all.Keep up the good work.
Been watching since Tula, the Frances 26. And Sierra was the girl that Billy only dreamed of. Awesome watching Billy's dream come true. Good for you Bro. Sierra you are a machine, all the hard work you've done, that most women would never even attempt. Keep up the great vids. You 2 are great to watch. Thank you. The Buckster
great job--over 40 years ago my wife and i did remodel on houses,in between snow, water skiing, outdoors, tennis, horses(she is a ranch gal)and all that in utah--you guys are a great couple, great example of role models
New Sub here. This was a great series. My wife and I enjoyed watching this transformation from start to finish. We are current'y looking for a project live aboard ourselves, an early to mid 1980's 48' or 52' Defever is our dream boat but they are far and few between here in South Carolina. The ones that we have found in NC, SC, GA and FL for sale have already been refitted and are out of our price range. We found a 1982 43' Mainship for sale by owner in Beaufort SC that needed a major overhaul but as we were touring it we decided it was too small. Keep up with the good work and living the dream!
I normally do not comment, but I do want to say not only have I been with you two watching you transform this boat...I was with you when you got married. I'm really proud of both of you, and what all you have accomplished. You have a great channel.
Fantastic job rebuilding this boat. You guys have put in a lot of hard work getting her to this point. Loved all of your enthusiasm. You should be very proud.
Can’t believe all the work you guys have done. It looks great. What a great layout!! Happy cruising. Can’t wait to see you explore the Puget Sound and the San Juan’s!
Magnificent job on this lovely old lady! Best investment of your life. Looking forward to seeing the whole before and after on the engines. Can't believe they were still running and still able to get her for $100. Wishing you all the best!
Great job you too It is a pleasure seeing a young couple like yourselves doing so much hard work It is rare to see that today. Take it from a 62yrs Old pirate☠ lol. You should be proud of yourselves good luck In all of your future adventures.
Been around for many years now and i have to say this is one of the most impressive transformations you 2 have done! Excellent work and cant wait to see whats next!
I owned a boat repair shop, here's some suggestions (if you don't have them) Automatic and manual fire suppression system for the engine bay. (CO2 or Halox or another fog type that will not be corrosive) You can open it from the helm or if fire happened when you sleep or are gone a sprinkler head would open in the bay. A water alarm to let you know if there is water in the bilge above whatever level you set it at. a C) alarm and a fire / heat alarm. and a TV camera or two in the eBay, believe it or not the wireless ones at harbor Freight work very well and you can access them on your phone. All of these are really cheap and worth their weight in gold to let you know something is wrong before it is critical. The last is a few semi trailer ratchet load jacks, get the good ones that are used commercially. if you have a leak they can be used to press a piece of wood with something between them to stop a leak. You are looking at about $250 for all this but I also did search and rescue and these if ever needed can help prevent tragedy.
Jetty showing us the Queen size bed priceless!!! 😂She had me belly laughing!!! 💙🚢💙 Fantastic boat remodel. You both should be so proud of your hardwork!!
Jetty does love that bed! Hahaha
I can't say I like my dog rolling around on my bed, 👎
This boat turned out amazing! I have a hard time staying with sailing RUclipsrs that switch back and forth between the types of content they can put out.
That being said, I haven’t missed a video since they were on Adrenaline. Doesn’t matter what they are up too, Billy and Sierra make anything interesting and fun to watch. This new boat is no exception! What a beautiful remodel!
You just made our day ❤️ We are lucky to have ya!!!
Well said.
Your hard work added several more decades of life to that old boat that was once ready for the scrapyard. Turned out beautiful. Nice job!
Tony & Susan here, We are shocked at how well this turned out. We were skeptical that it was in fare worse shape. But you have made her beautiful again and given her a promising future for the next owner.
You two did an amazing job bringing that boat back to life. Beautiful
love the roominess of this--especially the engine room.
Flippin fantastic guys! You took a chance and used your waiting time to not only restore that beautiful boat but to make some great content as well. Well done!
Bonjours. Vous avez fait un travail de titan. Magnifique réalisation. Bonne continuation. Prenez soin de vous. Amitiés du sud de la France. Olivier.

Engine room tour - I would love to hear about battery management or maybe a diagram of how it all works thanks and congratulations on the great job!
Not too shabby !..
Recycling in the best possible way. You two are a pleasure to follow.
Thanks so much Marshall! We are so grateful to have you with us for this crazy ride !
You two have done an amazing job on that poor unloved boat. She now sparkles from bow to stern. Well done.
You guys are unbelievable! Every project is more amazing than the last. I like the whole thing, you both did well. I have been watching you for about 6 years

There’s a reason why your comment section so positive. It’s a breath of fresh air.
THANKS for the tour!
MAGIC conversion. Highlights for me: Engine space, and after cabin. Fore cabin/V-berth could be for my son; one side for sleep, one for his desk.

I never pictured Mountain Mist looking as good as she does. Amazing results.
Y'all have done a terrific job refurbing your DeFever. I have a slightly smaller, newer, single-engine Marine Trader and your gorgeous, bright interior has inspired me to update hers.
It has been a blast watching you both transform the Mountain Myst. DeFever is a fantastic manufacturer. Congrats to you both.
IMO you two did the best I've seen here on youtube in the DIY boat refit and overhaul genre. Don't know if you are inching towards it but this could be your business and would be very successful.

This transformation has been amazing. Be proud. I would never be worried about purchasing a boat you two have done. Top notch all the way.
We all had the opportunity to watch this transformation but until you got to the Puget Sound and have had the time to really organize and clean her up, the miracle was not quite as obvious as it is now!
You two should be extremely proud. Nice job. I need to ask, though, who's Tula?
I hadn't noticed that saloon table before, it's awesome!! Yes I have been with you from the beginning. Unfortunately my wife doesn't like the water so I'll never own a boat bigger than my fishing boat so I guess I'll live vicariously through you guys. Keep the good stuff coming.
Been with you both from the start, it's magnificent! Now.. let's get this auction started.😜
You both deserve to feel proud of your achievement with this boat. You have made a silk purse from a sow's ear.

I really liked the tip of your cap to your mom's awesome wedding gift of the Collapsible bikes. Always great to give shout outs to moms.😎 Mine made it to 90 and I have great memories of her that always bring a smile.

I didn’t see an oil change system. I worked for Reverso and would be happy to facilitate the purchase and installation of an oil change system.

Fantastic job rebuilding this boat. You guys have put in a lot of hard work getting her to this point. Loved all of your enthusiasm. You should be very proud.

Looking forward to seeing the whole before and after on the engines. Can't believe they were still running and still able to get her for $100.

Been around for many years now and i have to say this is one of the most impressive transformations you 2 have done! Excellent work and cant wait to see whats next!
I owned a boat repair shop, here's some suggestions (if you don't have them)
Automatic and manual fire suppression system for the engine bay.
