Hey, cool video! When I am planing to program a new system and then want to analyse the usabilty etc. would this design be adequate? First implement the system (qualitative like performance) and then have usability teste etc (qualitative).
yes, you can do this and, although user experience research is not something I am particuarly experienced in, I am sure plenty of UX studies have applied this approach - have some kind of a Quant measure first, and then following this up with a more detailed Qual study that would help to understand the participants' choices for the initial stage
hello sir first of all thank you for such a delight video. sir could you mention some example for each type, it will be really helpful to for me to understand better.
Hello sir, I'm thinking of opting for this design for my master thesis. It has to be divided into three chapters, two of which are practice. Thus, I was thinking of having the questionnaire and its analysis in the second chapter and the semi-structured interviews and their analysis in the third. What do you think? Is this methodologically correct?

thank you so much😍🥰🥰 l learned a lot
Your explanation of explanatory research helps address reality - it may be needed to get into a qualitative study to make sense of quant.
These are really really great! Thank you for making these videos.
Newbie here! Thank you so much for the clear explanation.
You are so welcome! Hope you will find the other content on this channel helpful too!
Great useful content doc, highly recommended. Thanks
May i ask how do you determine the right sample size for the QUANT and qual phase?
That's very interesting . Thank you Dr. :)

Yes it is, and then I would discuss them together in the discussion chapter
@@qualitativeresearcher would It be okay if I devote a section in the Interview chapter for that discussion?
