Looking good! I have a feeling that in the future, thanks to the huge number of them, the Model 3 is going to be a car that a lot of people will be repairing after getting similar sort of damage. The vast numbers of them will mean that parts from breakers and ebay will be used a lot to do it too! Thanks for showing that EVs are not all that daunting to work on at home!
I saw this car on co-part looking forward to how much it cost you to buy, parts spend total and the final result, great job so far!! Can we expect another video to drop this week?!
Do you still have the old blown steering wheel centre? I'm looking for one for a custom project to play with... Has your supercharging been blocked since the airbags went off? Cheers, Rich
I’ve got access to another repaired model 3… it used to supercharge and now it doesn’t! So I’m not feeling so positive about it now. It can’t have anything to do with airbag damage because the other Tesla literally just needed a wing and bumper - no airbags or heavy damage. I suspect Tesla take a HPI feed each month / quarter and just ban anything that’s got a Cat marker against it.

Mashallah. Good video
It’ll be interesting to see you painting it yourself after the problems you had getting it done properly by a professional

Thanks, I’m struggling for time to edit the videos at the moment, so realistically it’s going to be every two weeks :)

No, sorry I’ve binned the old airbag. I haven’t tried supercharging it yet - will do so in the next couple of weeks.
@ that’s a shame! Apparently if you set a far away destination and it navigates via superchargers then it is still enabled..

@@ImysGarageor check the v5c when you change over ownership?
No, the v5 doesn’t say anything for a cat N. Only for a cat S
