I have the ultrasonics also, love the glove that it’s nice and tight. I have played with protective wrist pads as well that you wear like wristbands, only issue is that eith the ultrasonics it’s really uncomfortable to wear the additional wrist protection in order to do that you need the looser glove like the ccm one
Yah I’ve found I don’t need the pads if I use the ultrasonics. I was wearing my ft4 for awhile but got hacked so went back to my ultrasonic and sold the ft4
I have x2.9 gloves and there is the same floating padding on the inside of the fingers. I compared my CCM tacks 9040, which are basically entry level gloves, in terms of stitching quality. I must say they are made better. Bauers already have some frayed stitches after just a few games. I think it is just Bauer cutting corners.
The Bauer gloves look like a better design to me. Like that floating cuff to protect against the hacks! From my experience 3 pieces fingers don't protect well. Hard to play hockey with broken fingers!!! It usually the index finger that I injured. That's probably why the Bauer gloves used a 2 piece index finger design. Smart design by Bauer. I currently use the Bauer Supreme gloves myself. The lose padding material in the back side of the fingers you mentioned was annoying when they were new. The problem went away once broke in.
the worst gloves release by warrior in very very long time. I would not spend my money and time to test those. I would recommend some pro stock gloves, if you like floating/flex cuff the ccm hg12 are perfect choice, preferred by many in NHL
Nice. Can’t wait for the STX halo glove review!
Probably sometime in Jan

I have some frayed stitching as well, however after quite some time using them no issues emerged from it. So overall was a decent glove.
Great review! Keep up the great content!
Will do as best I can. I feel so much pressure haha. Appreciate all the support

Great review but you should try pro stock Ft1 they have more protection and are more comfortable with a pro palm
Thanks! I will see what I can find. I need to go on a hunt for some gear suggestions. Everyone has such great feedback :)

@@MXJEFF94 hey thanks I’ll check it out!
When you got the Ultrasonics, did you get new elbows to match up the fitment between the cuff and the elbow, or did you already have short elbows?
I have ccm ft4pros which work perfectly. Still use them. Elbows are hardest gear to fit
Try the qre 10s
Noted thanks! I was looking at warrior gloves look sick

@@nocturnal_walker perfect thx. Yes I’m
Mostly focused on new releases anyway to keep up with what’s relevant
Which size ultrasonic did you go with and did they get a little bit bigger after break in?
14, it’s loosens up. But I like the tight fit don’t move around and feel like they falling off all the time
