I found that the break towards the middle of the backhand gave it a bit of an Ultra Tacks feel, but with the tightness/anatomical Jetspeed fit. From the standpoint of combining two popular Pro Stock fits, I think this glove should do well. I hope it catches on in Pro Hockey, so I can get some with a cleaner looking graphic.
I completely agree with your comments about JetSpeed vs Tacks and Tapered vs Anatomical. Also agree that JetSpeed fit is more like Supreme than Vapor. Manufacturers need to ditch those terms (anatomical vs tapered, etc.).
Hi Crazy how I come to your channel before purchasing any hockey item I have the 2s pro bauer gloves and love them Want to purchase the 2s pro in navy white red for my bro but they happen to be out of stock everywhere around us I am thinking of the ft4 pro as an alternative, what do you think?
I am glad my channel is useful! Either FT1 or FT4 Pro would be a solid replacement for the 2S Pro. I always recommend going the pro stock route but these are good retail gloves.
@@HockeyReviews thanks a lot !!! Unfortunately purchasing pro stock is not an option as I live in Europe but I would have loved to Thanks again for the advices !
I didn't really see a reason to upgrade on the FT4 Pro compared to the FT1 since the 4 ditched D3O and didn't really do anything special. FT6 Pro give you Aer-Tec and I think that is a valid upgrade and at least make them unique.
@@HockeyReviews With CCM jetspeed FT1 and Bauer 2S pro gloves both being on clearance deals currently, which would you most recommend out of the two glove models? which of the two do you believe stands up to wear and tear the best in the long run?
Honestly, I had no problems with either gloves and enjoy both. I personally like the bigger and more flexible cuff on the 2S Pro but I don't think you can go wrong with either. If you can try them on see which one you like me and go from there. Both will have pretty similar durability with Bauer MAYBE having the slight edge in better nylons but that is very minimal.
How do you think the durability on these gloves would be? I’m coming from some Bauer s29 which had a reinforced palm area. Do you think these would have similar durability or worse?
I wouldn't really say the Bauer S29 had a reinforced palm, reinforced palms are like the kevlar patches CCM puts on their CHL and price point gloves. Wear on this will probably be similar to what the Bauers were, if you are having wear issues look at adding Tacki-Mac or Lizard Skins to the stick instead of hockey tape.
Pro stock gloves 😂. But if you have to go retail look at it this way, if you want a flex cuff the Ultrasonic is a good option. If you don't, FT4 Pro is solid
Not related to this: what do you think of padded base layers? There’s a good deal on a Bauer one, but I don’t think I ever saw a whole lot of pros use it so I’m a little hesitant. Cheers
So, I have no problems with them at all and have seen pros wear them in the past. I think the collar bone protection is a decent addition to them. It is just a personal preference thing in what you are looking for though.
I currently have the warrior qr1 gloves but I need to upgrade. Was thinking of getting the FT4 do you think they have a similar fit? Sounds like they are both a tapered glove.
It has been a while since I wore QR1... but from what I remember the backhand on QR1 will be looser than the FT4 but the cuff will be much more open than the QR1. QR1 didn't flare nearly as much as the Jetspeeds do.
@@HockeyReviews Good to know thanks for the reply. I love my qr1's but the palms are gone as I think warrior is known for. Decided to switch to ccm I was gonna go with the tacks but to much good stuff about this jetspeed line to not go with them.

Look like some nice gloves. The big gaudy FT4 logo on the thumb bit sticks out like a sore thumb, unfortunately. Too bad the marketing guys love slapping big dumb logos on everything.

It is super confusing and I don't understand why they don't just go with tight fit, medium fit, loose fit. Simple and obvious with that naming.
@@HockeyReviews my son has the FT1 and they are great. Is that considered the jet speed line?
@@dallasfollick2911 Yes, FT1 are the Jetspeed line
@@HockeyReviews great thanks, also what about these from the Warrior line- Warrior Covert QR Edge?
@@dallasfollick2911 They have a flex cuff (which is tight to the wrist) and are a bit more square than the Jetspeed line are.

Ultrasonic gloves compared with the 2s pro gloves next ?
If I can get my hands on them.

I haven't been able to grab one yet. So no.

@@HockeyReviews ok thanks 👍
Would you recommend buying bauer 1x pro glove or prostock jet speed? Thanks.
Both are solid, so get whatever one you like better. Jetspeed will be tighter on the hand and backhand than Vapor.
@@HockeyReviews Thanks! Love the videos keep killing it. Need to look at the bauer hypelite helmet next.
You mentioned pro stock: where's the best place to buy it? Am located in Canada. Thanks!!
Just Hockey carries it once and a while, The Hockey Shop in BC also has it. Hockey Stick Man is another option.
@@HockeyReviews I'll give those a try! Thanks! 🙂

Hi! Would you go with the jetspeed F4 (not the pro) or Bauer supreme 3s pro gloves?
I've never looked at the 4 so can't say anything about those... but I hated the 3S pro cuffs 🤷♂️
Thanks! Which are your favorite gloves in the market right now?
Jetspeed, Supreme, Catalyst are all pretty decent gloves right now.

I’ve waited to watch this video to buy them,
They are pretty solid, so not a bad retail option.

CCM FT 1 hmm what’s after 1, yea it’s 4 FT 4 good
Normal people: FT 4 gloves are nice
Me: why did they skip 2 and 3 😂
If CCM stopped releasing a stick every month they could line up the protective lines 😂
@@HockeyReviews yea 😂
