    I LOVE flex cuffs & tight/snug gloves... Tried on a pair of these in the store and liked the feel. Didn't really like the price...
    Are there prostock (either 'real' or 'team') Bauers out there now with this cuff?
    Really appreciate the detailed review!

      What do you mean "real" or "team." The only Bauer gloves I have seen on the pro stock side of things so far with this glove are 2S Pros with the example I showed in this video.

    • @markjandy
      @markjandy 3 года назад

      "Real" meaning they're actually made to some players spec and "Team" meaning that some team ordered the retail construction with their colorways (or at least, that's what I assume the "Team Stock" gloves you see on PSH are?)

    • @HockeyReviews
      @HockeyReviews  3 года назад +1

      It would honestly be a case by case basis for gloves. But generally speaking Bauer doesn't do a tonne of team stock gloves and they are usually made to order for a specific player.

    Bought a pair of Bauer Supreme M5 pros. Great glove, love the flex cuff but my index finger on my left hand comes through the inside gusset, doesn’t come down flush on the Nash palm. Noticed this happening on a lot of gloves. Can anyone help? Thanks.

    Which supreme gloves should you recommend?

    • @HockeyReviews
      @HockeyReviews  Год назад +1

      These or 2S Pro are fine if you aren't looking for the best of the best. The pro stock versions are better since they still use Poron and plastic inserts and might even have Poron backhand liners.

    Hey Hockey review. I would ask you if you like to recommend me the Bauer 2s gloves or the Bauer 2x gloves.

    • @HockeyReviews
      @HockeyReviews  2 года назад

      2S Pro if that is the option. Or look at pro stock 1X gloves if you want Vapor

    I"m a great fit in a retail 13" Bauer 3s . What would you convert that to size wise on a pro stock glove? Thanks

    • @HockeyReviews
      @HockeyReviews  Год назад

      Depends on the pro stock glove you are looking at. If it is Bauer, they fit the same as retail.

    It looks like the 2s pro has a longer cuff for better coverage/protection..?

    • @HockeyReviews
      @HockeyReviews  2 года назад

      The Ultrasonic is a flex cuff, so it moves with your wrist. While the 2S Pro has a longer cuff the Ultrasonic will follow your wrist and leave less gaps overall.

      Pro stock if possible. Otherwise these if you like the fit profile and the cuff.

      I don't have these gloves anymore. Nor do I have the QRE 10 which are the competitors to these gloves. So not going to happen sorry.

    These vs 1S vs 2S pro vs 2X w/flex cuff vs HG12 vs HGPJ (FT1)?

    • @HockeyReviews
      @HockeyReviews  2 года назад

      Depends which version of each you are getting. These and stock 2S Pro aren't really different besides the flex cuff. All HG12/FT1 retail will be better than these are for protection since they have plastic inserts. The 2X w/flex cuff (that I showed off) are way better than these because of the foam package + plastic inserts + Poron backhand liner.
      HGJS (FT1) pro stock gloves are considerably better than these with full D3O foam package, HG12XP are also full D3O so considerably better than these as well.

      Thank you for the reply. I’ve been watching your videos and reading your RUclips comments trying to make a decision. I just can’t try anything on before buying as I live 4 hours from a hockey store (my rink has seriously only a single glove to try on) and pro stock gloves have a no return policy. I’m using 12 year old eagle ppfs (they have become way way to loose) and that’s the only glove I’ve used besides a mission warp zero (maybe the first 3 piece thumb) and bilt rite gloves. But those were so long ago I can’t remember really what they felt like (still have the warp zero’s on display though). I thus have no idea what my fit profile is which makes it even more difficult. I tried on some player’s ultrasonics and vapors and both didn’t feel great. The ultrasonics, although the palm was taught, has too thick a palm in comparison to the MSH2 palm I have in my eagles. The taughtness is great and is what I’m looking for as my eagles palm feels excessive in fabric, but the thickness of the ultrasonics palm was nowhere near as nice as my eagles.
      The Vapor I think was a 2.7x or a model close to that, had a very cheap feeling palm.
      I actually found a website with pro stock Bauer 1S gloves which surprised me they are still out there new, DK’s hockey shop, and found the other models I asked about new in pro stock also on some other sites.
      Anyway thanks for your help and videos, would be completely lost otherwise.

      @@bloodsweatsteel914 I checked out the 1S gloves on the DK Hockey site. The Huskies pair are basically retail but with a different palm. It should feel better than the retail palm but I don't think they are a single layer. The Buins pair they have is a single layer Nash and should feel thinner than the stuff you tried on and weren't a fan of.

    Plenty good for a regular ol beer league eh?

    • @HockeyReviews
      @HockeyReviews  2 года назад

      Eh, sure. They are fine but you can get better gloves for cheaper by looking for pro stock QRL, QRE Edge, Reebok 11K, or CCM 12K. Which all have a flex cuff that is either similar or superior.

      @@HockeyReviews yeah i just bought these kinda spur of the moment , thats a fucking awesome review so thank you. One thing I did notice was they weighted a bit funny running up the index finger and I do notice a difference from the vapors although I havent tried them. Im a little concerned they might be not the right glove for a stick handler? whats your thoughts?

    This is a total shit if a glove. Always have my left big finger blistered cause of contact with some internal rib of the glove. Most uncomfortable.
