Well, he only fought one battle before the boss. Warrens bosses tend to be the easiest because the layout typically allows you to reach them with minimal fights before the boss itself, so you can bring a team comp that's designed to kill the boss without worrying too much about the dungeon before it. In this dungeon, there were just 4 rooms before the boss, compare this to, say, the Weald or Cove where there are usually 10+ rooms before the boss

The crits are always 1.5 times damage, so since he brought enough herbs for booze barrels to buff damage it was easy to reach such high numbers
