About Ayreon I recommend you the song "The day that the world breaks down" studio version from Arjen Lucassen official You Tube Channel and yes, Arjen Lucassen is a musical genius. After the project Ayreon however I suggest you to immerse yourself in the world of Nightwish and Floor Jansen starting from the video "Ghost love score" from the concert at Wacken 2013. You have no idea what a wonderful surprise you will have, believe me. ;-) Nightwish and Floor will never disappoint you ... never. New subscriber here by the way.

@@VocalCitizen Floors sister, Irene Jansen is the lady on the left of the backup singers. The three backup singers are often called "Ayreons Angels".
Song is from the 2017 album, The Source. 3rd song on a concept album. Arjen writes arcs that span multiple albums. This album is , chronological first in the story arc. "The Day That The World Breaks Down" is the lead track on that record. The music video will give you some context on the story, and has 11 vocalists.

Girl I love your reactions. 7:23 "It's her." LOL!!!! Yes indeed, that's the reaction that many have whenever Floor comes on stage. I hope you choose to get into Nightwish. Unreal talent in that band over the years - their known for their live performances, which are tremendously well done. And Floor Jansen as a vocalist/performer is just at a different level.

Ayreon is mindblowing. It is the upper class. Try anything from the 2023 "live beneath the waves concert 01011001".
I visited that concert, along more than 60 nationalities in the public from the world over. On stage 25 (!!) main epic singers and this fantastic bunch of musicians. How they are able to do this? Simple: Arjen is a fantastic guy to work with and the worlds master composer of progressive rock. Almost every great singer wants to participate in his projects. It is a kind of happy reunion of the Gods having a blast on stage together. It radiates from the podium and inflames the audience. Highly highly recommended to visit that once in your life. It's the "mekka" of rock music.

I see the Nightwish has already taken over the channel. Too bad, cause they will only (more or less) suggest Ayreon songs having Nightwish members in them.
My requests list is impressive, flush with many different artists across multiple genres. I do priority requests as they come... always first in line. And this community has shown up.
@@VocalCitizen Maybe I'm overreacting, but as I big Ayreon fan I'm just slightly annoyed by people more or less only caring about the project when Nightwish members are involved (meaning we always see reactions to the same 5 songs). So my comment was not so much about you or your channel, but more directed at those fans. That said, I'm a NightWish fan as well.
