well it's because he is not interesting, he is just a nice guy, whos all comrades got killed in a fight, i think that's a bit of a cliché, also his character didn't have a time to evolve, it's like Jacob, but he's got at least interesting backstory even tough his character becomes more walking Paragon morale then in ME2
He actually has some really awesome moments and really funny lines. I always liked James, I used him a lot with my engineer and adept playthroughs. He's a beast.
James Vega is a cool character imo, even though a lot of people hate him. He makes me laugh. Especially when you pick him to fix a turret gun one time, he just starts stomping into the console. F'n laughed my ass off when that happened :D

this is the "day one" dlc you get Javik the Prothean actually really cool insight on his opinions although I got the collector's edition so it came included on a piece of paper with a code you'd have to buy it on your xbox or playstation store to get it
good point although liara is an archeologist/scholar and she even said she studied briefly about other races and well garrus even though i love him and he's perfect for shepard well femshep at least, he does just calibrate the normandy's guns and the commander as well
Well, the Harvesters weren't a sapient technilogically advanced species, but the Reapers transformed them into troop transports, so it could've happened however unlikely.

There's nothing that we have found that suggests that Dinosaurs DIDN'T have lazors (lasers) and FTL spaceflight. So it's best we simply add this to the whole load of theories about why Dinosaurs disappeared.
Gameplay-wise, he is. Just like ME1, they need to ensure you have at least 3 squadmates by the end. (Tali and Garrus can die in ME2, Javik is DLC sigh.., and Kaiden/Ashley are hated enough by fans (check the forums lol) that they wanted the option to either have the Virmire Survivor die, or not go on the ship) Thus, Liara for Biotics, EDI for Tech, and Vega for Combat. (like Liara, Tali, and Kaiden/Ashley in ME1)
The Reapers only destroy highly advanced and intellectual races but hey who knows, maybe the dinosaurs flew around in starships and used laser weaponry

For many people, archaeology just means digging for old stuff - doesn't matter what. I don't think people understand that archaeology is a branch of anthropology. Which reminds me - one of my anthropologist friends met someone who thought that anthropology was the study of ants. When it comes to bizarre misconceptions about a scientific field, that one takes the cake.
Nope. I'm digging around in northern British Columbia where there's a pretty clear demarcation in the soil between the time when the land was covered in glaciers and the time that the glaciers had receded. Anything from the glacial period or earlier (and the dinosaurs are waaaaay earlier), is of no interest to us. We never dig that deep, and it's really hard to do so accidentally. That said, fossils and artifacts can move between soil levels, so... oh... you were joking.

BUT keep in mind that Harbinger has been around for one billion years, as was revealed in the Leviathan DLC. That's one billion years of his point of view being strengthened through different cycles, We have the Geth this cycle, the Protheans had the Zha'til in theirs, and no doubt the Inusannon had theirs. It wasn't until this cycle that he considered rethinking his point of view.
