  • How can you make your voice heard in a noisy world? The key is public speaking and presentation literacy, and we can help: bit.ly/TMCPSApp
    --
Storytelling is an ancient art; as humans developed language and culture, we learned to share our stories, thoughts, and dreams. And that storytelling evolved into public speaking, and our audience- thanks to the internet- is the whole world, not just a campfire. So how can we make our voices heard in such a busy space? Chris Anderson digs into why presentation literacy is the skill of the future.

Until now I value it's importance in my life and I am still dreaming that one day the stories bottled up in my imagination will reach a lot people to inspire them or to make them smile. hello creator of Ted Ed, Chris Anderson. I read your book, Ted guide to public speaking. It is a really god book for creating an interesting discourse. It servel me well for some ocasions in which i had to do some public speaking.
It is very productive to read it but it is necessary for a teacher to read it. If you look at some educational content on youtube, in which the presenter gives you a story and connects with you, the presenter succeds to give you some basics in a subject. On the other hand i had to follow some teachers who did not follow this guide. It was boring

spoken word has always more impact than a picture shown to us. Spoken word projects your own pictures in your head and animates you to create your own imagination - every mermaid looks different in each brain. Once we are shown something that comes from the imagination of others, as in movies for example, it's not OUR OWN image anymore, but someone else's who puts his image onto us. That's why audiobooks or reading are much better for our imagination and to train our brain than pictures or movies. At least when it comes to that precious cinema in your head.
