Sazoneros! We found Soul Food way down south, all the way in Mexico City at @blaxicocina the only spot in CDMX for a Black American taste of home.
✨Blaxicocina owner Tiara Darnell was gracias enough to sit with us and talk story about how this Mecca for Black culture in Hawaii came to be.
🍹We tried some amazing food and drinks - those Oxtail Tacos and Blue Drank are living in our head rent free and she told us how she mixes the traditional with the sustainable to keep our foodways alive while supporting the local community.
